Insecurity is taking a different dimension in this country. Very soon, children in the North will be afraid to go to school at all. The government must wake up from their limbo and do something. It is sad that a country led by a retired General is under siege by terrorists. The time to act is now before it becomes too late.

They shouldn't tamper with the contributory pension of the civil servants. They have no other savings from their over- taxed salaries to sustain them.

It is not surprising at all. When you have an army of media aids without any economic adviser, it is bound to happen. If nothing is done urgently, it will go beyond five hundred. You don't manage the economy with propaganda.

Mr Bashir, please find out why the level of patriotism among many Nigerians is so low now. You can do anything for Nigeria now because you're still feeding from the table where the national cake is shared. Americans are passionate about their country because their country value their lives. My condolences to the bereaved families. Lalong is still deceiving himself with his alliance with th core north while his people are being decimated by those he is dinning with. He opposed the ban on SARS as if they have been offering protection to the endangered Plateau communities. It would have been easy for the Usman Dan Fodio jihadists to conquer the Plateau if leaders like Lalong were in charge during that jihad.

They should work on electoral reforms and stop boring us with election dates. Diaspora voting, electronic voting, early voting as the Americans ar doing are innovations they should be thinking about. As far as governance is concerned, there's nothing to celebrate today. Hunger, hyperinflation, insurgency nepotism and disunity are not the hallmarks of greatness. Nigeria is 60 years today and we are still being consoled not to despair. Retirement age in Nigerian public service is 60 years If Nigeria is a public servant, will he retire happily today?

The emphasis on the party of the senators is not necessary. Nigerian politicians are united by their desire to acquire wealth through political power. They can be members of any political party at the slightest opportunity. It is all about their interest. This regime has truly dragged Nigeria backward

Organised labour colluded with the government to betray Nigerians. It is difficult for prices to come down in Nigeria after going up. Labour was curiously hasty in suspending the strike when the government has not started the implementation of any of their bogus palliatives. The Next Level is going to be tough for both hailers and wailers. It's really unfortunate.

The glorious days of labour unionism is gone in Nigeria. What we have today are men who bargain with our mandate for their personal gains and future political careers.

The government should provide PPEs to health workers in our hospitals. The rate of infection in the hospital's is becoming alarming. It is not enough to be addressing us everyday on the number of infected, recovered and dead persons. These men and women in our hospitals need to be protected even their allowances are not paid . We really need to face reality in this country and stop living in denial.

When some District heads in Katsina are threatening to abandon their communities in fear of bandits, we are still talking about free local governments. The issue of security in Nigeria now is beyond rhetorics. People are dying and means of livelihood being destroyed. Security shouldn't even feature in the achievements for now. Many families are still mourning their dead.
