The Ivorians have held on tenaciously. A victory for them will ensure more attendance at the stadia bit if they exit today, it will surely affect attendance in the tournament

How important is this G-5 governors to next year's elections? They are entitled to their five votes but as far as the election is concerned, the people will no longer be influenced by these men whose days in office are numbered. Hardship has reformatted the brains of Nigerians. The era of band wagon following is over. Nobody will follow anyone to the voting cubicle. This election results will shock the pundits. Obi is coming.

These lawmakers who appropriate bogus payoff packages for themselves should know that when there is nothing again left for the poor, they will come for them. They cannot be preaching to civil servants to endure the harsh economic realities while they continue their life of opulence. This country is overdue for a revolution to reset the minds of these oppressors
Politics / Re: Disquiet In APC Over Buhari’s Non-participation In Tinubu’s Campaign by Maranzano(m): 1:48pm On Dec 29, 2022
PMB wants a better Country for his grand children hence the cold feet towards Emilokan's campaigns. He knows that his party's flag bearer does not have the capacity to pull Nigeria out of its present economic logjam. Emilokan's proposal of recruiting 50 million youths into the army as his solution to the security problem is a far cry from the solution. PMB is yet to recover from the gaffes of his party's candidate in Jos when he was shouting his name repeatedly as if he was the candidate contesting for votes. Emilokan seems to be in another party called PDAPC hence the reluctance to to follow him for campaign rallies.

Nnamani and his cotravellers in APC should know that the politics of 2023 is beyond the usual ethnic and religious sentiments. He can tell Tinubu all he wants to hear to get money from him but the fact is that many Nigerians especially Ndiigbo have made their choice for next year's elections. That's why he is like the lonely voice crying in the desert. It will be hard for him to justify the campaign funds he received for the southeast.

Thunda Faya you for supporting sit at home..
Thunda Faya Uzodinmgba for being incompetent..

Two of you are Baztards..

Unfortunately for you, thunder is not under your control. It seems your self inflicted poverty has affected your thinking. Don't transfer your frustration to anyone, if you do not know from whose loins you were begotten, please ask Google. Have a great day.

Should we be clapping for you for converting our beloved state to a killing field? A lady was killed early this week by a stray bullet at Orlu. The news emanating from Imo is disheartening under your watch. Sit at home is more of a voluntary action that cannot be stopped by military fiat. The people have adjusted their weekly schedule to accommodate it. Do not count that as an achievement, the state has been left behind and is bleeding under your watch.

You started well. I believe Ndi Anambra have a great leader in you. The frenzy about the first 100 days in Office does not make much sense to me. Follow your blueprint for the state, engage in people oriented projects and you will surely win the heart of the people. Insecurity is a major challenge in Nigeria today and Anambra is not exempted. Work with local intelligence to nip the attacks on the bud. Empower the vigilante groups to compliment the efforts of the security agents. A secured state will surely attract investors that will create employment.

The north sold the APC presidential ticket to BAT, they did not promise him the presidency. Before the end of this year, APC may become the minority party in the national assembly and a regional party. Our northern brothers have their focus on power and not party. BAT grabbed the mat but the floor is still in the hands of the north as far as power in APC is concerned. Nigerians have moved on with Peter Obi

He shouldn't worry himself. More members of the ruling party will soon jump ship. He has nothing to lose because he will be supporting a fellow northerner in the background while following BAT for campaigns. Muazu did it against Jonathan in 2015. The reporter avoided the names and faces of the arrested people but was quick to suspect IPOB/ESN Obudu is sharing boundary with Benue and some parts of Taraba in the north. Nigerians know the terrorist group causing mayhem in that region. Those living in denial should face reality and help in saving this country. These huge cache of arms was intercepted but the identity of the culprits was hidden from Nigerians for reasons best known to the reporter. A new Nigeria will surely emerge from the ruins of this deceit.

The electorate have remained gullible tools with which they will still hijack political power. Welcome to the season of tales. They will no longer leave what happened in Vegas in Vegas. They will "reveal" them to renew their mandate and the cycle starts all over again. It's a deja vu for some of us. Nothing new.

Politics / Re: Bandits Kidnap 25 People In Kaduna, Make Phone Calls For Ransom - Shehu Sani by Maranzano(m): 8:54pm On Apr 19, 2022
When will these tales of woe cease in our country? Perhaps Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina will blame Bishop Kukah for this latest assault on the people of Kaduna. The politicians have abandoned governance for campaign into new offices next year.. The monsters they are grooming today will hunt them tomorrow. God will continue to be our protector.
Politics / Re: Buhari's Regime Is Obsessed With Bishop Kukah - Kperogi by Maranzano(m): 7:57pm On Apr 19, 2022
Bishop Kuka has always told truth to power but the intolerance of this government to contrary views has always brought them at loggerheads with the erudite cleric. Bishop Kuka is never shy to express his erudite opinion on national issues. Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu should humble themselves and learn from the Bishop. Both spokesmen of the president often contradict themselves in their reportage and defence of the presidency; an indication that they may not be well informed on the government policies and mode of implementation. Spokesmen clarify government policies to the people and not attack dogs of the presidency.

Politics / Re: Real Reason Sheikh Khalid Was Sacked - Farooq Kperogi by Maranzano(m): 7:54pm On Apr 04, 2022
Truth is eternal. He has endeared himself to Nigerians by stating the obvious. His disengagement has made him more popular even among Christians and adherents of other religions. I will not be shocked if he is arraigned in the coming weeks for financial misappropriation of the mosque he has been superintending for years now. I love his courage to speak truth to power. Posterity will remember him as an imam who challenged the status quo and was ready to bear the consequences. This phase will pass away in Nigerian history. Those who silence the voice of truth today will live to see the triumph of good over evil.
Politics / Re: Kaduna Train Attack: PMB Directs Immediate Implementation Of Surveillance System by Maranzano(m): 5:45pm On Mar 29, 2022
It is better to be proactive than being reactionary. Intelligence gathering is key to effective military crackdown. The bandits have been pampered enough. The security personnel blocking the highways in the southeast will be more helpful in Kaduna and Niger states.

The joy of the match has been ruined by the loss of lives at the Kaduna-Abuja railway. As a nation, our leaders should their heads in shame. Their inability to handle insecurity has affected every sector in this country including sports. I wish the Eagles well as I mourn with the families of the victims.
Politics / Re: Kaduna Train Attack: Nasir El-Rufai Visits Injured Passengers by Maranzano(m): 2:30pm On Mar 29, 2022
El-Rufai bragged about having the magic wand in security if his part comes to power. Today, he is visiting victims of terrorists attacks on the state he is governing. You can deceive a woman to marry her but you cannot decide her to feed her. Propaganda can get you to power but purposeful and visionary leadership is a different ball game entirely. My condolences to the bereaved families. El-Rufai should revisit his media attacks on Jonathan handling of security and ask God for forgiveness.

There was a country indeed. Few days ago, it was Kaduna airport that was invaded by bandits. Today, a train has been bombed by the same bandits. They seem to be incharge in Kaduna and other northern states but they are not seen as security threats to the country. If the presidency fails to do the needful to these bandits, the national assembly should do the needful to the presidency to rescue whatever is left of this country. The campaign will soon start but I hope there will be a country to govern by 2023 at this rate of bombardment.

Politics / Re: Crush Boko Haram, ISWAP Terrorists Before 2023 - Buhari Tells Service Chiefs by Maranzano(m): 3:44am On Dec 26, 2021
Insurgency in Nigeria has gone beyond 2023 rhetorics. It seems everything in Nigeria revolves around elections. Using 2023 as a deadline to crush the insurgents points to the fact that a cheap political point is about to be scored in preparation for the election. There was a decrease in the activities of these terrorists before the general election in 2015 but shortly after that, it started gathering momentum again. Poverty is is a strong factor that breeds these insurgents. The government should also go beyond religious sentiments to
call the likes of Sheikh Gumi to order whose romance with these terrorists has become worrisome. If the government truly wants to annihilate the terrorists, I think Sheikh Gumi and his llikes should be watched closely. At the rate these terrorists are operating now 2023 seems like a millennium away, How many people will be slain by these marauders before the next election which is seen by the politicians as the most important event in Nigeria beyond human lives? I wish our soldiers all the best.

Politics / Re: Insurgents Planning To Attack Military Bases – DSS Raises Alarm by Maranzano(m): 5:15pm On Nov 28, 2021
I don't think we need these alerts from the security agency. Their duty is to foil the attack by apprehending the planners before they execute the attack. People like Gumi who openly urge them on should be questioned. We are tired of hearing that something is being done. We want to see things done. Results!!!!!!
