The bandits operate freely because they are seen as businessmen by the authorities. The flag-waving protesters are far more dangerous than these AK 47-carrying terrorists. The NYSC that was introduced after the civil war to foster unity in Nigeria may soon be a thing of the past. Many graduates and their parents are not willing to partake in the program due to the deteriorating security situation in different parts of Nigeria. Kidnapping and other terrorist activities in the north especially has made it difficult for young graduates from the south to go there to serve their fatherland. Northern graduates are also not comfortable to leave their comfort zone in service of Nigeria. Agitation is usually caused by injustice. If the issues necessitating the rallies are not addressed, there will still be future rallies. It is better to engage in fruitful negotiations than to be always chasing the citizens with teargas to stifle dissenting opinion.

Good to read from RichDad after sometime. I have always enjoyed your posts here. I hope those who are quick to throw the first stone can withstand the consequences of their actions. Hamas is good in stoking the embers of war to whip up global sentiments against Isreal but the Jews see themselves as an endangered species in the middle East that must defend themselves at all times if they are to remain in the world map.
