me69:I agree Police outnumbers, Police is about 380,000 personnel while army, navy, air force are not up to 180,000. But then, it's not a game of quantity, it's a game of quality. It's sad it has come to this, but it is what it is. Our security architecture is still fashioned according to colonial curriculum; force of intimidation, who intimidates more has the right of way. After all, why will Police or Army be brutalizing civilians? Even when they know civilians outnumber them and can easily swallow them up in a revolution? |
Bullman:Ijaw own be say dem lazy. Since oil was discovered, they stopped working and will rather wake up in the morning, drink ogogoro, and wait for oyel money for them to share. Their women are more enterprising |
Blakjewelry:Same reason we import petroleum products Same reason we import generators because no stable light There are vested interest in these sectors and businesses who would rather want we keep importing |
Wow! Left as staff returns as exec pendusky:Oh yes, you're right. Apparently, Microsoft move of hiring him to start another AI company was a move to prevent him from being scooped up by the competition. Blaqputin:You have a point. With what he knows And With the mass resignation of staff in loyalty and solidarity with him. He could have gone to start another AI company that will be a stiff competition to openai |
I always laugh when it comes to Delta state. You see them supporting these politicians, yet the politicians no send them. In terms of allocation, Delta has always been among the top 3 yet has nothing really to show for it. With what that state receives, there's no reason why Delta should not be among the top performing states, but no. Modified For obvious reasons, I wish PDP is kicked out of Delta, they've been a thieving lot. Ibori looted Delta blind at a time when oil was booming and revenue was high, yet they kept hailing him odidigborigbo of Africa. Even after he was convicted and did jail time in UK, he still returned to a Hero's welcome. He has installed his daughter in the House of assembly, after his shameful stint as governor, he put his inept cousin Uduaghan to cover his tracks, then Okowa came aand did the unthinkable. Use our money take play bet9ja by bankrolling Atiku thinking he'll be VP, towards the end of his tenure, kept applying for aand getting approval from the Sheriff Oborevwori led House of assembly for huge loans now dem put the Sheriff to cover Okowa tracks, and then just like Ibori, Okowa fixes his daughter to represent Ika in the house of assembly. Delta is doomed, I spit and piss on that state. |
Na wah. Naija no go baje |
First question, does the court have the vires, the jurisdiction to entertain such matter? |
It should be on a need to know basis. The person you want to tell, is there a need/reason for them to know about it? |
After I don't like the aftertaste of brushing when I eat, so I brush after I eat. Also, keeps the mouth fresh and Free of food debris as I step out for the day. |
tuzle:So if Microsoft owns open ai, why would Microsoft take in someone fired by Open ai? |
Moyinoluwa35:I understand. Be safe out there and stay solid. |
Moyinoluwa35:Sad but true. Nigeria's problem goes down to it's foundation, anything done to salvage Nigeria must start from it's foundation, other than that, it'll be mere window dressing, I mean ordinary whitewashing. I think you should however tone down on your revolutionary ideas especially because of your job. |
Lol These big companies and rivalry. This is very legal and technical poaching. |
Whether we like to admit it or prefer to live in denial and ignorance which can be bliss, for each generation that goes by, family values and marriage gets weaker. Back in my grand father's days(those born before 1900), men married more wives, even though it had its own challenges it never the less had its own merits. Then our fathers came,(those born from 1900-1979) had encounters with the Europeans, were told that having more than one wife was sinful and would land them in hell, they obliged and devoted to one woman, even though they may have w side piece or two outside. Then the gen y came (those born from the 1980s-late 1990s) the story changed, we are now being told it’s okay to tilt towards same grain, that a man necessarily does not have to be a man and a woman does not necessarily have to be a woman, that Adam could get down with Steve, and Eve could tango with Genevieve. And then the cream of the crop, the generation zed came and the whole rules utterly flipped and became upended. As long as you’re not triggered, you could do whatever, money and financial freedom became the rule and the game changed to getting it however you may and would you really blame the generation zed? They’re a manifestation of secret desires, intrusive thoughts, daydreams of the preceding generations. Now, with the proliferation of SM, the game has been upped a thousand notches higher, men and women can link up faster before my coffee is ready, financial freedom is at the tips of the finger of those who can leverage on the new age, and values like loyalty, fidelity, and trust have become arcane, more men and women are getting more independent and going their own way with marriage becoming less fanciful, unrealistic and impracticable as many people want to acquire all and be stable before getting hitched without realizing that they’re being sucked into the rat race of insatiability of human wants and desire. It’s a hamster’s wheel that gives the illusion of progress albeit static progress. In another twenty or thirty years, There’s going to be an overwhelming evidence of breakdown of marriage and family as the glut from Gen Y and Gen Z advance into their 40s and 50s and it’ll only go downhill from there. What remains of our morals, values and society, can only be imagined with the benefit of hindsight and reviewing how we’ve moved in the last twenty years.

Una nor get record to know who don due make una for retire am? |
purples25:Shout out and respect to explorers |
Zxcvbnmghtr:Dey jonz yasef Pipo wey don divorce |
Corn247:And corn is cheap? |
Who is the FG paying the money to? |
Something he can't do |
Good one, they created incontrovertible evidence to convict themselves. Plus the medical report which she'll procure, They're getting life imprisonment. |
Flamemignon1:No qualms |
Imagine Nigeria don baje finish. Pipo wey suppose dey sambisa dey throw bomb dey internet dey bomb. Would you blame them really? They see what the society has turned to, if you nor get money hide your face. Politicians dey loot and cash out, their own army oga dem dey loot dey cash out, na im you expect say dem too nor wan cash out? Again, most of our service personnel are not there for patriotism rather military job is merely to put food on the table and also there's this trend among street boys now, they join any of the forces or regimented organization so as to get cover for their main hustle(yahoo) |
Very honourable unlike some countries where incumbent can't lose |
Flamemignon1:It's not a bill in itself, it's a treaty. Read up EU ACP LGBT agreement |
Crazy shit I just read up on this. The EU want to surreptitiously force African, Caribbean and pacific countries to accept LGBTQ through their EU ACP agreement. Nigeria is not signing it, we shouldn't sign it. |
YoungBlackRico:And for a reason. US was instrumental in SK winning NK in the Korean war. And US stands for everything they desire that communism wouldn't offer them. |
Nope Unlike workers in private sector whom their employer can wake up one morning and fire them and NO court can compel that employer to take back the sacked worker, Government workers enjoy what we call employment with statutory flavour. It means their mode of hire and fire is controlled and managed by laid down laws and statutes, and collective bargaining which strike is one of the tools of collective bargaining is enshrined and respected by labour laws. So NO! They can't be fired by the government for striking. |
South Korea be leaning too much towards the west |
Nigeria police and their anyhowness. As against your oath to protect, You abandoned a post because of incessant attacks on your personnel. The immigration stepped in to ensure security. Now you have a new CP, instead of doing the right thing by officially approaching the immigration and thanking them for holding fort in your absence due to cowardice, and notifying them that you're back to your post if they're willing to give it up, you decide to fight them. I wish one or two police were shot. |
