I think and feel you should wait till maybe after 8th of May before you contact the school again. Some schools allow international students to resume few days to a week after resumption.

Concerning the deferral, yes some schools don't defer admission more than twice but should there be a genuine and a very good reason to defer again, they will. They probably may ask you to pay the application fee again but your admission will still be offered to you.

In any case, after resumption of the program and nothing yet from CIC, you/wife can commence the process of deferral again citing the delay in procesing of the study permit.It surely will defer it again but may be at a cost.

Just be hopeful and prayerful. 8th of may is about 2wks. It will work out well.

Just begin to make a list of the necessary things she will take along. The list will help you not to forget anything, if the Visa come too close to resumption date. You don't have to buy them, just make an exhaustive list of things to take along.

U can choose to write both, SOP focuses on what u are planning to study, ur plans after study and all, let ur LOE focus on detail explanation of all submitted docs as to how it makes you qualify for study permit, ur personal assets, the totality of ur application,documents submitted by ur sponsor and all other supporting docs wud be duly explained. Let your explanation focus on how all you have submitted makes you qualify for d permit at the VO esteemed discretion

I was super worried about the cost of childcare in Calgary earlier and that was the main reason why I wanted to go to Winnipeg. But I found out after speaking with someone on ground that the Alberta govt (Manitoba does as well) subsidises childcare cost (this is different from Canadian child benefit) and that goes a long way in reducing the fees.

As regards flight tickets. Well, its pretty pricey. A cheaper option may be to consider buying one way tickets. Egypt air is also affordable. If you have valid UK visas, you may wanna break your trip by flying to London and then getting an air Canada or westjet or delta or Lufthansa flight from there to Canada. We would be in London for a bit before we land in Calgary so we opted for air Canada.

So far, so good.

If you have read some of my posts back from Canada study permit thread.. You'll notice that i am not a fan of agents.

Thank God it is the story of refusal you are sharing now, many others bagged 5 years inadmissibility into Canada due to Agents unprofessional handling..... Imagine being banned on an SOWP

You know i can be almost certain that you would have been approved if you did the application yourself!.... SOWP application is quite straight forward!...
Financial proof and personal assets is key.... Check back... The applicants who have been approved without a SoA usually have proof of their current employment (payslips/introduction letters/pension etc)..
Employment serves as financial proof and economic tie to home country.

I wonder if i could get a response on this forum. I want to apply for the SINP Skilled international work program NOC 2171 - INFORMATION SYSTEM ANALYST - BUSINESS ANALYST. I have exprience working in that capacity though has a Psychology Background as my fisrt degree. Here is my question:

1. Can i send my Bankstatement with the Proof of fund from my account in Nigeria cos at the moment i live in the UK
2. I have a Bsc Psychology as degree , however i have a Professional certification Foundation in Business Analysis (BCS) does it cover for my Degree with experience working on several projects?
3. If i dont have my Pay slips handy but have my contract letter and Employment letter, Will that cover me?
4. The Ten years exprience in question , must it be in business Analysis or just working years history in total to sum it up to 10 years
5.The previous organisation i worked for whilst in Nigeria has folded up having worked with them for 4yrs . Do i need to include that as work experience ?

1. If you do not include her as accompanying, that means that you would then have to sponsor her under spouse after obtaining PR status. THis truly takes much longer and I am not sure but she may have to be outside Canada for that period. So, you should seriously consider this and all of its implications. I would advise that you add her as accompanying. She would write ielts and evaluate her completed degree to add to your points.
2. You declare your work experience as it is. Current role and corresponding NOC for the duration and then previous role and its corresponding NOC and duration.

You do not seem to be convinced with the response already provided... There are some people here that will only respond to queries only and if they have sufficient info and proof.. I am one of them.. Ok.
Filling 5475 when no one has applied on your behalf only tells the VO that you are not sure of what and how to handle your request!
The title of the form itself tells you what the form is meant for... Ok. Go on with your application and don't mislead yourself.

I think your wife might be better off as the principal applicant... Why not try using the CRS tool to check score both ways - you as principal applicant and also she as PA. Then you can make a choice...

2. If I remember correctly, you should have 3 years experience in the NOC you are claiming points for.

Hello house, my wife currently studies in Canada but I don't want to include her as "coming with me to canada" in CRS assessment so as to earn maximum point because including her keeps my point below 400. Is it okay to declare her as not following to canada since she's already there?

2. My current job role in Nigeria falls under category NOC B, property and purchasing officer but im a civil engineer by profession although I have 1yr experience as a civil engineer before taking up this current role 2years ago making it cumulative 3years of work experience. Should I declare Civil engineering or purchasing as my noc?
