I truly believe Ola's conscience is seared and he will not receive the truth

I pray for all those he deceives with his teaching. They needto allow Scripture to speak.

OLAADEGBU: And you expect me to trust you? shocked
trust the Word of God. You'll not find one instance of a command for a monetary tithe in it.

Produce a Scripture that proves me wrong, and I will gladly admit I was wrong.

OLAADEGBU: Who is the robber here? undecided
John Morris, like you, mishandles the Word of God. Twisting the fact that FOOD was tithed into the false doctrine of a monetary tithe.

You, like Morris and other monetary tithe teachers, add to the Word of God, when you make Malachi's rebuke and admonition to the priests of Israel to tithe FOOD, a tithe of money for other nations

OLAADEGBU: I know that most of you (anti tithers) are here on a mission. Who knows the type of pact you made with satan to be running such an errand for him? undecided
we've made no pact with satan. We preach the Word of God. There is no command to tithe money in the Word of God.

An enemy planted the seed called monetary tithe requirement in the garden of your vain imagination and you chose to nurture that seed even though it is not supported by Scripture.

Those who teach the monetary tithe have a group of followers.

Sadly, they that follow the tithe teachers are gullible and ignorant of what the Scriptures say.

frosbel: As the days go by and the more we read your comments, the more it becomes manifest by the light that you are not really what you make yourself out to be.

You parade yourself as a minister of light but resort to accusations, judging Gods children and sometimes outright ridicule. Sometimes I really wonder who you serve.

Recently , even babies in Christ took a step back and warned you about the endless diabolical and demonically inspired visions of hell and heaven you kept promoting on this site over a few weeks , but you stubbornly resisted thinking you knew it all and thereby attempting to overthrow their faith. A shame really.

Now you promote Creflo dollar the same man that jokingly said he will mass shoot non-tithers in his congregation, you also support TBN a ministry that has aligned itself with false teachers like Kenneth Copeland who called God a failure.

Mate, you need to learn some humility and go back to the feet of Jesus, it appears that you have this confidence that deeperlife membership makes you acceptable in Gods sight, not at all.

Repent from your deception.

OLAADEGBU: When I accused you of blasphemy what did you say then? You didn't address it but you think is now convenient for you to stretch the truth.
And once again, you lie against the truth. I did indeed address it. I said:

what is blasphemy is your wresting the Scriptures, twisting them to say what they were never intended to say.

The Bible told me it was a parable.

Luke 18:9 (KJV) 9 Andhe spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

Luke 18:10 (KJV) 10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

Luke 18:11 (KJV) 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

Luke 18:12 (KJV) 12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Luke 18:13 (KJV) 13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as [his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his bosom, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Luke 18:14 (KJV) 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified [rather] than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Sorry, Olaadegbu, but Jesus did not teach your ungodly doctrine of monetary tithes. The only command He gave concerning tithes was tithes of garden product; mint, cummin, anise. You must add to the Word of God in order to have Jesus commanding tithes of money.

Proverbs 30:6 (KJV) 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Matthew 23:23 (KJV) 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Luke 11:42 (KJV) 42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

No command to tithe money from the Lord's lips, only from the lips of those who add to His Word..

You used the verse that said the Law was until John. Yet, it is obvious you have no clue what that means. Even the verse you used in Matthew 23 proves Jesus was teaching the keeping of the Law.

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Jesus was teaching the Pharisees to keep the weightier matters of the Law.
Is lies the only thing you have in your heart, Olaadegbu? Because that is all I see coming out in your posts.

OLAADEGBU: You are the one lying to yourself and against Jesus by saying that Jesus was not speaking reality when He said "I give tithes of all I possess" but now thinks it is reality when you need to quote that passage to attack your perceived opponents.
Can you not read the Word of God, Olaadegbu?

The Word of God clearly says Jesus was speaking a parable. You say He was not.

The Bible is true. You are not.

It was a parable as the Bible says so.

And the parable says the Pharisee prayed with himself. Appears to me God didn't even hear his prayer because it was full of pride and lies.

Why did the Pharisee in the parable not go to his house justified? Because he was a lying, self-righteous hypocrite. Much like those who think they are pleasing God with their receiving monetary tithes from those they deceive.
Christianity EtcRe: Tithes And Offerings by MarkMiwerds(m): 1:25pm On Dec 02, 2013
My reply,"Nope, not me, ...Jesus" was in response to your question, "Who said they were not tithing money, you? "

Jesus said they tithed agricultural produce. (Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42)

I did not blaspheme. You are doing the works of the devil by falsely accusing as you do. As I said before, I have come to expect no less from you.

No, I am not a blasphemer. Though I know you label me as such, you label me so falsely.

Gombs: This is the 105th page...if you still didn't get answer to your above question, you'd have to wait till we get to heaven.
liars won't make it to heaven. Their destination is the lake of fire.

So, I ask again. where is the Scripture that says we are to tithe our money?

Proverbs 30:6 (KJV) 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Gombs: So God now sent you and Candour and Goshen etc to liberate his flock from 'thieving pastors'?

But you never go and stop d mouths of atheists or gays or such, why only tithing?
God expects all that are His to witness to others the truth as it is written in His Word.

So tell us, Gombs, ...

Where is the command to tithe our money written in His Word? I see commands to tithe agricultural products, but not moeny. We only preach what is written in His Word. To add a monetary tithe requirement is to go beyond what He has given us in His Word.

Proverbs 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

OLAADEGBU: "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon" (Matthew 6:22-24).

1 Cor 9:12

Adam Clarke's Commentary:

We have not used this power - Though we had this right, we have not availed ourselves of it, but have worked with our hands to bear our own charges, lest any of you should think that we preached the Gospel merely to procure a temporal support, and so be prejudiced against us, and thus prevent our success in the salvation of your souls.

Matthew Poole's Commentary:

Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ: Yet, saith the apostle, though we have this power or liberty, neither I nor Barnabas have made use of it, but suffer all those evils that come upon our not using it, hunger, thirst, labour, lest we should hinder the progress of the gospel, while some might for the charge decline hearing us, or others might charge us with covetousness, &c.

1 Cor 9:15

Albert Barnes' Commentary:

Verse 15. But I have used none of these things. I have not urged and enforced this right. I have chosen to support myself by the labour of my own hands. This had been objected to him as a reason why he could not be an apostle. He here shows that that was not the reason why he had not urged this claim; but that it was because in this way he could do most to honour the gospel and save the souls of men. Comp. Ac 20:33; 2Th 3:8. The sense is, "Though my right to a support is established, in common with others, both by reason, the nature of the case, the examples in the law, and the command of the Lord Jesus, yet there are reasons why I have not chosen to avail myself of this right, and why I have not urged these claims."
Neither have I written these things, etc. "I have not presented this argument now in order to induce you to provide for me. I do not intend now to ask or receive a support from you. I urge it to show that I feel that I have a right to it; that my conduct is not an argument that I am conscious I am not an apostle; and that I might urge it were there not strong reasons which determine me not to do it. I neither ask you to send me now a support, nor, if I visit you again, do I expect you will contribute to my maintenance."

Adam Clarke's Commentary:

Neither have I written, etc. - Though I might plead the authority of God in the law, of Christ in the Gospel, the common consent of our own doctors, and the usages of civil society, yet I have not availed myself of my privileges; nor do I now write with the intention to lay in my claims.

Matthew Poole's Commentary:

Ver. 15. Though I have such a liberty to marry as well as others, and a liberty to demand a maintenance of those to whom I preach the gospel, yet I have done neither. Nor do I now write to that purpose, that I would now impose a burden upon you to raise me a maintenance. I know I am calumniated by some, as if by preaching the gospel I only sought' my own profit and advantage: I have gloried in the contrary, Ac 20:33-34; so 1Co 9:18; and I look upon it as my great honour, that I can preach the gospel freely, and I had rather die by starving than lose this advantage of glorying. And if I for your profit, and for the advantage of the gospel, abate of my liberty, should not you abate of yours, to keep your weak brethren from destroying their souls by sinning against God?

there you go lying again.

Practicably every Sunday I was able to attend services I put money in the plate.

Your constant lies only prove who it is you really serve.

The verses I posted clearly say Paul did not write for payment for preaching.

1 Corinthians 9:11-15 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
