Tell me why someone won't feel a simp/white knight should be heavily beaten and sent to a gulag.

I once saw a YouTube video where a girl was assaulting a guy repeatedly in front of many high school students (mostly boys). The moment the guy retaliated, the boys ganged up on him. Coachgregadams once shared a video of a white knight who got shot trying to rescue a girl from her abusive boyfriend during a fight.
