DeepSight:Givien that the moon regulates Earth's climate. As the only natural satellite of the earth, any cosmic disturbance to the earth will ultimately impact on the moon since it is held in orbit by Earth's forces. Also, man orchestrated disaster on the moon will have a far reaching negative impact on earth. The moon is not another planet, it's earth only natural satellite. |
Krismas:Enlightened me then! Here we are battling "global boiling" , earth quakes and plastic pollution and you want to justify the humongous resources being deployed into R & D just to conquer a territory that is incompatible with human existence? Besides taking the cold war to a new frontier and just maybe exploring for rare metals, what possible leverage does the myriad of activities on the south pole of the moon accord mankind? |
When the economy is in free descent, every opportunist will want to take his or her own pound of flesh before the great collapse. That seems to summarize our current situation. |
CHARACTER preceeds LEARNING. Degrees can , and have been withdrawn because the recipient was found unworthy in character to be affiliated to their alma mater. Count your lucky that you were made to only repeated a course madam! |
''They're hard choices to make and I'm 100% sure Tinubu is too much of a coward to make such hard decisions''. The quote above was taken from the post. You stooped so low by including invectives in your write-up that made your lucid points taste soar and nauseating. We seem incapable of stringing 2 sentences together these days without showing how debased we are in terms of our moral upbringing. For crying out loud, I'm not a fan of Asiwaju but I can't bring myself to insult his person however bad I feel about his economic policies or his ascension to power. It is not by sharing seemingly populist opinions and sentiments that your post will make front page which I see this one not attempting. |
You can always have your SAY but most definitely not your WAY. You are entitled to your opinion! |
All we expect from the DISCOS is the metering of all customers and the replacements of damaged and undersized transformers for effective and efficient power delivery within their coverage areas. |
This is barbaric. "No gree for anybody" taken one level higher in the wrong direction. |
It's high time they started confiscating and selling these seized items to the indigent populace. The last interception of about 50 trucks were released to the owner though turned back. |
Careful! This is lassa season. |
The import of his statement is that , there can't be 2 captains in a boat. For him, women should be subservient to the caprices of the man and any attempts to undermine that authority should come up unpalatable repercussions. The guy is a born misogynist |
It's better you "dey your dey" That you people greet one another and it doesn't progress beyond that goes to show that you guys do not operate on the same frequency. |
Such a handsome cutie. I honestly don't want to think those facial prints are real scars . God! |
Hope this video will not irk the NYSC authority. |
I think modern day Pentecostalism as practiced in Africa generally and Nigeria specifically has a warped and convoluted insight of the issues of diseases, its pathophysiology and ultimate complications. Take a simple case of Rhesus incompatibility in couples especially where the woman is the negative partner. Our religious practices has in profering solution to this malady pointed hands at curses and people which oftentimes has led to family feuds lasting generations. Our educational ascension doesn't seem to have permeated the choke hold religion has on society. Until we desist from viewing deaths and illnesses through the foggy prism of religion, somebody will always be the fall guy in every death. |
The race for the moon to me is a distraction and waste of Earth's scares resources which would have been been better deployed in solving the litany of environmental problems on the mother planet. We have not subdued mother earth in totality yet and here we are racing for the moon to do what exactly? |
blowjohn:A senior registrar has a hazard allowance of 40k. That can not buy the parenteral Ribavirin needed to effectively treat Lassa. |
Judolisco:I hope you saw Unnecessary in the visitation. Some of the unnecessary visitations like 1-Visiting a friend who is a health worker . 2- churches having hospital visits teams to pray for the sick 3-curiously, companies and banks sending errand boys / ladies to sell or solicit patronage. 4- Hawking or delivery of food by food vendors to hospital wards or consultation areas like the GOPDs. The list is endless |
Lassa fever season is here. Avoid unnecessary hospital visitations Maintaining universal precautions is key in mitigating person to person transmission. Prevent rats having access to stored food. If your fever persists after regular malaria treatments, seek urgent help. Health workers should have a high index of suspicion. |
NNPCL is a cesspit of corruption. Wonder where NNPCL got the hubris to issue such response. |
For them, home is better than sojourning. The prodigal son's experience comes to mind. "No mata where you go , make you no forget AREA"..... Sound Sultan (Motherland) |
Every crime besetting our nation is hinged on the fulcrum of CORRUPTION. Kill corruption and see Nigeria transform to the country of our dreams. |
With the removal of fuel subsidy, it was only a matter of time before the once lucrative racketeering of fuel across the borders die a slow but agonizing death. Also, the closure of some of our northern borders especially the Niger border due to ECOWAS sanctions on the coupist has drastically cut off a major artery for smuggled fuel. Another master stroke may also have been the change of guard at the helms of the customs, immigration and other relevant bodies. The former heads may have turned a blind eye to smugglers and smuggling activities or were willing participants in the massive sleaze. It is however not lost in this discuss that Nigerians have drastically cut down on the use of fuel due to the harsh economic climate. Generators are running less or not at all, people are commuting less and far between, disposable incomes are channelled into more gainful ventures than supporting luxury and a host of other factors. |
But the president was a beneficiary of zoning! |
So fast! The government is not smiling. |
EXODUS!! Primary care is in shambles and mostly run by quacks. Secondary care is almost comatose Tertiary care is suffering massive brain drain due to socio-economic vagaries . Our people are dying from preventable health challenges. Lacking financial wherewithal to seek prompt medical attention. There is just no help in sight. All men to himself and God for all. |
''See a man diligent in his work, he will stand before KINGS and not mean men''. Proverbs 22:29 Kudos! |
Hope the fall is sustained and not the usual initial gragra (IgG) |
The end is come! But can we blame them? Hell no. The government has shirked its responsibility in providing a basic necessity - power. People now avail themselves of every opportunity to charge phones, rechargeable lamps etc in public places like schools, hospitals and now churches. Only If this will bring them to Christ! |
