In as much as tithing is a jewish practice, I believe if the Christians must take to tithing, they should tithe where it's most needed at that point in time. The church is not the only place where God's presence dwells. The orphanage, the IDP camps, rural schools, missionaries, and so on.


Well, feeding 2million people every Sunday is a good gesture. But why feed the hungry when you can help empower them to feed themselves everyday?!

It becomes plural only when u have something like, "the poor + plural noun" (the poor men, .......)
