What's with all this religious nonsense in Nigeria . Know what give your daughter all the holy communion and put her in the midst of rapers and let's see if she will not be raped. The girls mother is probably a deacon in church and yet this happened. So Jesus allowed the small girl to be raped before arresting the criminal ? 9jacrip: You need to take a seat.
A quick research by consulting with students or alumni (if you know any) of that campus will reveal pretty much everything you need to know to you.
This is the norm with this said man (and others) in the English Department which unfortunately has a high number of females. The particular girl in question was the 3rd set but has spent 4 extra years in school due to lectures soliciting sex and delaying her like other female students in school.
There was no relationship nor blackmail here. He had been on the girl's case for a long time and was instrumental in this girl's suspension for exam malpractice which would not have occurred if the girl has agreed to the initial sexual advance. The lady returned from suspension and the same was was still pressuring her; he decided to set him up by recording that video.
The video has been in circulation since last year, the school wants to attempt a cover up by suspending the man only which he has resumed from. Well, to get proper justice, I think the girl had to make the video go public.
So many helpless girls are languishing in that campus with extra years while many have fallen pray to the penis of Ojoniyi & others. I think what you just wrote if true makes me to want to give the man d benefit if d doubt. Are you saying the girl was suspended for exam malpractice because she did not give sex and had 4 extra years ? Is the girl devout christian or Muslim ? Has she never done runs with other lecturers ? Something is fishy. |

Even if it is true they asked for part of the money what is wrong with that. It is people like you that makes it difficult for people to help others. Even the bible says a laborer is worth its wages. Why do we think things should be free in Nigeria? Even for the richest man in the world (Bill Gates) to help you, there will be conditionalities attached even if not monetary. I dont think the richest charity in the world, Bill and Mellinda Gates Foundation, helping Africa on HIV Aids, Polio and malaria issues is doing it totally for free. Am sure there will be conditionalities to be met by beneficiary countries. Western countries aids to developing countries have conditions attached sometimes human rights or democratic government. In civilised societies Dino would have been arrested by now for assault. Is it not the same issue that is causing problem between the 3 members of HOR and US ambassador? There is a great deal of correlation between your integrity at home and to the public. If you can maltreat and basterdize your wife, it wont be difficult to maltreat and basterdize your constituents. Charity they say begins at home. Unfortunately, Nigeria is not yet developed for such sophisticated reasoning. Somebody like Dino has no business being a senator in a sane country. ziddy: Tell the man immediately. Don't tell anyone else but the man, who knows if he's aware already.
The consequences of a woman cheating on her husband go beyond the sexual act. What if she passes off another man's child as her hubby's? That's why they say the child belongs to its mother (Iya l'o l'omo) because only a woman is absolutely sure of the blood tie between herself and her child. A man usually needs a dna test to be certain.
One of the worst tragedies that can befall any man on this earth is to raise another man's child unwittingly as his own. I don't care if a woman cheats on me because I learnt a long time ago that all women cheat given the right set of incentives e.g money, sex etc so I don't do love/trust where woman issues are concerned. Just don't bring another man's kid for me to raise.

Alokendra: Bro, you're not answering the question. What magic wand and abracadabra will NOI perform to take away Nigeria's economic misfortunes in this low oil price regime coupled with the fact that we operate an import based economy. Let's agree you're right. Kemi, Buhari, Osinbajo, Kachukwu are all clueless. Pray tell what NOI would do differently? A very simple question that demands an honest answer. If you're clamoring for someone's comeback, you have faith that he or she will do something differently. In this case, what would that be? Pardon my digression. To your question - nko ti agbalagba fi nje eko Abe ewe lowa." How will I know what she would do differently when am not an economist. All I know is that she delivered for OBJ in paying off our debts to Paris Club and others. Jonathan must have seen something in her to have gone to beg her to come back. What will make Buhari ask for her support is coming. Like I said it is Buharis ass that's on fire. Nigerians are terribly impatient and 2019 is round the corner. |
Politics › Re: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At World Economic Forum In Geneva, Switzerland by Max24: 8:45pm On Jun 21, 2016 |
Alokendra: One would think she broke bounds and made Nigeria an Eldorado for you Jonathanians to be clamoring for her comeback. I asked you what would she do differently, but you deliberately skipped that because you don't have an answer. what ever happen to her resigning rather than watching and supervising the unprecedented looting that happened right there under her watch as the coordinating minister. What effort was made towards diversification? none! All we kept seeing was voodoo statistics about how our economy is the best and all. If not for the plummeting oil prices that exposed her scam, we would be held sway by her lies.
Now, you blamed Kemi for the country's economic woes while absolving NOI of any blame. Objectivity indeed!
according to you, the govt should go and dobale for her to come back and finish what she started - pretend the economy is the best thing after slice bread and reel out statistics to your amusement.
Mt question still stand - what would NOI do differently? What will you do if Buhari enlists her support for his government ? Will you sue him? It is Buharis ass that is on fire and am not one of the sychophants to push him to perdition. Yes, I voted for him but I will also be vocal if I feel he is missing it. If this country must progress we must engage in constructive debates and not vindictive premonitions. The nation must supersede party politics. Years back when America was attacked by Osama the republicans and democrates put politics aside to chase the enemy. As it is in Nigeria now we are facing the enemy of inflation, unemployment, neighbourhood crimes etc. and d current economic managers don't have the faintest idea how we will come out of it. They are as confused as us d lay men. So Buhari must go to the best brains to help. |
Politics › Re: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At World Economic Forum In Geneva, Switzerland by Max24: 8:01pm On Jun 21, 2016 |
Alokendra: Are you kidding me?
An objective would know that the exchange rate we had during Gej's time wasn't NOI doing. Oil prices were high and this provided a perfect cover for her incompetence. She did Nada! Exchange rate was okay and inflation rate normal were simply as a result of the high oil prices. It's common sense. It only takes a dip in the oil prices for all her voodo economics to be exposed.
There was enough money coming in for the FG vis-a-vis high oil prices. This is nothing but the truth. Infact, we started experiencing some of these economic woes (high exchange rate, rising inflation rate, job loss etc) in the latter part of Gej's tenure. I already envisaged this. I told my friends that even though I'd want APC to win, there's really nothing they can do to improve the fortunes of Nigeria.
The hard times were imminent bro. I got an offer from a multinational oil coy, but they shifted my resumption date for more than 6 quarters. This was towards the end of Gej's tenure. Now, blaming Kemi for the high exchange rate and rising inflation rate is the most ridiculous and preposterous thing to do. It defies every iota of objectivity.
I put it to you bro, what would you do differently if you were in Kemi's shoe as we speak? Better still what would NOI do differently in a low oil price environment coupled with an import based economy? By your own logic you blamed Ngozi for everything that went wrong under her even when she was not in control - blamed her for Dasukis excesses, blamed her for the governors insistence to share the ECA, knowing fully well govs have immunity , she didn't. So if you must blame her for everything outside her control then we can blame Kemi for the spiralling inflation and weak naira. Till date nobody can in gov has claimed any money got missing. The current ongoing probe is possible because Ngozi kept straight books. Dasuki and d others couldn't deny because she kept records as a good finance minister. What the money was used for was not her business as long as she got directive from her Chief Executive who was Jonathan. Ameachi did in Rivers what Dasuki did from Abuja but nobody is castigating his finance commissioner. All we keep hearing is Am eachis name ,so why Ngozi. If u have any problem with Jonathan's government direct it to Jonathan and stop vilifying everyone that worked for him. I think it is most unfair. Until you have evidence that she shared out of Dasukis loot we should be fair to her. If we treating our international stars this way then nobody will want to come back to do anything for Nigeria on the future. It is akin to the way Nigerian sportsmen with dual citizenship will pick other nations above Nigeria when they have a choice. Even God will send away helpers from Nigeria if we adopt your attitude. That's my submission, bro. |

Alokendra: Coming from someone who painted NOI as the best thing that has ever happened to Nigeria? All you just did was to heap blames and allocate her failures to different parties while she is a saint. What did she do with the FG share of the ECA which is in the tune if over 50%. She's the best thing since slice bread and yet have no achievements to boast of rather than scream how the governors wanted a fair share of the ECA. Thank god they did get their share else the money would have find its way into the hands of people like Dasuki.
NOI is the best yet have no significant achievements that speak for her. Wailer's logic is always very pathetic. It appears u consider objective analysis or constructive criticism as wailing. Very unfortunate. FYI I voted for Buharis and I did not regret doing so becks I believe in his anti corruption stance and I think he is doing his best in that regards. However, I don't have confidence in his economic management team vis-a-vis Ngozis. And before u label me IPOB + WAILERS know that I am from d same state as Kemi. But this goes beyond tribal sentiments. What indices do you use to assess a finance minister ? 1. Inflation - what was the rate of inflation under Ngozi and now under Kemi ? Guess inflation has gone over the roof. 2. What was the exchange rate under Ngozi and now under Kemi ? For me those are probably the two most important indices for assessment of an economic management team. For me while I still support Buhari for probing Jonathans corrupt government , he needs to get more seasoned economists with international influence and I don't know of any living Nigerian that surpasses Ngozi in that regard. Buhari and APC must eat the humble pie and enlist Ngozis support to market Nigeria to the international community |
