KoldKash:So, it was Jesus that said u should invest in faceless businesses. No know address, no office, no registration with CAC. My friend, stop deceiving people. I still remember my money and that of my friends trapped in similar schemes not long ago. Ever heard of wonder banks, club freedom or getaway club ? Unless maybe u are too young then. |
rusher14:Go and study the history of world renokwn dictators in history then u will know why some of us are against this. I voted for Buhari and my past posts had always been against corruption of Jonathan's era but the pattern I see in this govt is totalitarianism. And dictatorship is a worse crime than financial corruption. This was how Hitler started. Politicising corruption. Too much power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Can't u see that the more they fight corruption the more we go into recession ?Do you think its just a coincidence ? The most enduring way to fight corruption is to use due process, my bro. Shalom. |
Confusion breaki boonu, eyaa
Double wahala for deadi body

Double wahala for deadi bodiiiiiiiii |
rusher14:The same way the judges were invited, abi ? The same way Ffk was invited. The same way only PDP members were invited alone. |
soberdrunk:You want DSS to sting you, abi. Don't u know that is corruption of the other room ? To before warned is to before armed. |
knostbrown01:Be deceiving yourself. How many investment schemes did Jesus do ? Ponzi scammers. Lazy lots. |
knostbrown01:Na lie u lie. If nobody join u you no go get kobo. That's how it works. So SEC is right. |
TeamSimple:So, if Bill Clinton had restricted his wife to the kitchen would she have the likelihood of becoming Americas President as is about to happen ? Or must our President mention the kitchen ? Does Hillary not cook for her husband in the kitchen or any woman for that matter. So the problem with the statement is the context and emphasis. The statement reflects outdated African conception of man - woman relationship. Remember there was a time in recent past when girl children are not sent to school thinking they belong to the kitchen. PMBs statement is an offshoot of that outdated mentality. Our President must reflect modernity and progressive values or else 2019... |

Daniel1990:Are u saying Ameachi will be another Jibrin that will spill the beans for the executives as Jibrin is doing to the legislators ? That will be interesting. |
Orikinla:Yes, me too. I now regret not voting for GEJ having seen how the person I voted for is running the country. I was better off under Jonathan than under Buhari and I was never in govt but there were opportunities but now no opportunities for u if u are not in govt. The hunger wey dey wire me nowadays is too much. Buharis cluelessness surpass that of Jonathan. |
I hope this is not a ploy by the govt to shield Ameachi now that everybody is calling for his investigation and prosecution knowing that he was APCs ATM. Osinbajo saying everybody is corrupt now is an excuse not to arrest Ameachi since I cannot arrest everybody. When they arrested Dasuki, Methu, Ffk , Senators, Supreme Court Justices they didn't tell us everybody was corrupt but now that people are asking for ministers to be probed they are now saying stylishly everybody is corrupt and so cannot be arrested. This govt is indeed one chance ! |
designking:Yes, that's what you get when you have a President that appoints based on nepotism and tribalism. |
How can a whole chief security officer to a gov be killed like that. What happens to strategic assessment before engagement ? Unless there is more to this. |
Oblang:Then that means nothing has changed in this country. If the President does not want to change why is Lai Mohammed disturbing me with his fake change begins with me. APC wants everybody else to change except themselves. They want the judges to stop collecting bribes from PDP but can collect from APC. That's hypocrisy ! |
Now that one of the presidents men is severally mentioned in scandals let's see if Mr President will order his arrest after all #changebeginswithpmb. |
onomeasike:Who is the olodo between the two of us ? Read again what you highlighted The same pastor admitted to knowing and visiting the judge in the past but not for a criminal visit such as bribing a judge. Do u expect him to admit to being an accessory to a crime ? Why would the judge name his hitherto family friend if it is not true. Why didn't he say Umana came alone. He was simply making a statement of fact. |
The Pastor has not categorically denied what the judge said. He is simply choosing his words. Let Umana and Ameachi sue the judge for defamation if they are sure they never tried to pervert justice. Maybe other judges so visited are waiting to make their revelations. |
I thought his ministerial nominee, Adeosun, said Recession is a word. So why use recession now as an excuse not to pay ? Hypocritical people ! hypocritical party ! |
This country is finished. So this Umana and Ameachi successfully compromised the judges at the tribunal and the Court of Appeal. They would have succeeded if not for the Supreme Court. Only the Supreme Court Justices refused to compromise. These APC people are indeed wolves in sheep's clothing. Waiting for the DSS to search the homes of the judges that gave Umana victory at the tribunal and court of Appeal and list their assets or else they are simply one sided. |
Bugatie:Not just the kitchen, but also the other room. She has a lot of work to do IN THE OTHER ROOM. ![]() |
MrKong:Eeya, you cant understand. That is the true spirit of the sw not those people up there killing themselves because of religion. Get ready for when he would visit the shrine. |
Let's see if BBC will be arrested for corruption. |
Kingsley1000:Is corruption a Nigerian thing or all humans thing ? Even in western countries u have corruption. But they have a system to fight it. They use institutions but respect due process. We are not in crude times when jungle justice rains. Anybody who wants to become Nigerian President must have the intellectual acumen to lead using due process to achieve his aims. An example is the TSA concept of NOI. Though it has its challenges , it is a creative way to track govt spendings instead of this govts method of sending arresting everyone. This govt simply lack intelligent ways to handle Nigeria's problems hence their resort to archaic methods. It looks like the more this govt fights its one sided corruption the more the economy dips and that should not be the case. If they fight unbiased corruption the right way foreign investors will come in and we will be happy. But this govt seems not to have that capacity apart from brute force. We need a charismatic leader that is honest and current. |
arresa:Like the never conclusive investigation in Sarakis forgery trial and CCT trial. So arrest of judges was made without conclusive evidence to commence trial. I thought they said they recovered billions ? What other investigation are they doing ? |
OrlandoOwoh:Were the judges arrested by FBI democrats or republican inclined ? Over there, FBI arrests you whether u are democrats or republican. In Nigeria, you can never be arrested as long as you always rule in favour of APC just as all arrested people by EFCC are from the opposition. That's the difference between an altruistic incline arrest of judges and a politically motivated arrest eg one of the judges had recently chided the DSS. |
Nkemtreasure:Actually, your freedom if speech is guaranteed. What I can not guaranty is your freedom after the speech . |
And then they will come to Nairaland. An injustice to one is an injustice to all. |
ikaboy:Buhari is" fighting corruption" and we are suffering , but Jonathan was corrupt and we were okay. Who needs medical attention between the two of you ? Keep living in a fools paradise. Meanwhile nobody is against corruption but follow due process just like civilised countries. We are not animals except you claim to be one. |
Sunnymatey:Yes, it will soon get to the turn of people who airs conflicting views on Nairaland. If judges can be so handled who are defenceless nairalanders. |
masseratti:The same thing they would have done if it was the President. |
SuperS1Panther:Bid indeed. ![]() |
