lawanson44:Look very well. You will see the connection. |
zonties1:Even Pellers magics were illusions. Nothing metaphysical about it. |
bright007:Becos u didnt pay attention to ur secondary school science. It is a simple lever system at work. |
2pointsonly:You are too slow. Upon all the explanation. |
Another True Face of Lagos in the making. Did anything good come out of that for the public? For the politicians the more u look the less you see. |
Has Ameachi now converted to Islam? I can understand Tinubu. But Ameachi seems to be dying to be relevant in Buharis government. Am sure he is ready to recite the Al-Fatiha on national Tv if Buhari asks him to. He appears insecure. |
At the rate Buhari is going he will use the next 4years fighting his enemies. And they are ''plenty''. I forsee him banning AIT, flogging Bishop Oyedepo, using his presidential powers to impeach Fayose, divorcing Patience from Jonathan ... who else again ooo? May God help us under this man! |
Rilwayne001:The same way Ameachi, Saraki changed when they decamped to APC. Though Saraki seems to be un-changing himself nowadays. Same for Ali Modu Sherif and FFK. I suppose in your view any criminal politician that joins APC is a saint and anyone that joins PDP a criminal. Good of u! ![]() |
OJUcrook:Are u a member of the state? Why are u crying more than the bereaved? Democracy is a government of the people, by the people and for the people. The people set their agenda themselves and they are satisfied! |
This El Rufai is a big propagandist! |
NgeneUkwenu:If it is a lie then let El-Rufai publish the truth. The govs have given room to speculations by not publicly declaring their assets. Public declaration of assets is d first step to stopping corruption and if El-Rufai meant well he would simply do the needful instead of attempting to intimidate the press. Same applies to all other govs across party lines (and if it makes you happy Wike inclusive). |
elantraceey:why judge her? do u know what she faced from d former husband? |
dvee2:Am confused with this ur two cent. I thought the President said nobody should call him a General in this dispensation or are u insinuating he has not changed yet? Are u saying he still cannot take criticism or laugh at a joke? If people cannot express themselves as they wish then we better go back to Jonathans era. Or are u d one still having the hang over of the presidents past military days? |
Buhari is running a reactive government. He is not proactive at all. Hope it doesnt continue this way. |
Beremx: Do have a nice day! |
doctokwus:What will u do if it is confirmed that he has actually paid them while ur Aregbe is still owing his workers? The only honorable thing for u to do is commit suicide i guess! But i doubt u doing that - honour is not a Nigerian. ![]() |
ddippset: Very funny. Wetin concern me for who win for their fight? Am only interested in rule of law and accountability. What do u think is d essence of not giving govs life immunity? So that after their tenure they can be called to answer questions concerning their tenure. As far as am concerned wike too should be probed after he has done his tenure(both ministerial and governorship tenures). Our job as citizens is to encourage them to expose one another not having sympaties for any of them, unless, of course you are one of them. Nigerian political class are among the most corrupt in d world. Am neither for Wike nor Ameachi. They will both rot in hell for their corruptions. |
ddippset:Like what good ministerial position that can unseat an elected gov? Is any minister superior to an elected gov? Even if Ameachi becomes EFCC chairman he can not touch Wike due to immunity. And if he is made minister of finance he can not stop rivers statutory allocation, not even the President can, ask obj/lagos lg case. Wike has all the constitutional protection unlike Ameachi. No ministerial position has immunity, so at least for the next 4years Wike will be Ameachis boss. |
uncle005:Am not surprised about ur response. Its typical of Ameachi and his supporters. No intelligent engagement but abuses like Ameachi. Toutish tendencies. Anyway that will not stop Wike probing Ameachi, kotinu the rant. |
Caseless:There is a difference between Jonathan and Ameachi. After Jonathan lost he and his aides such as ffk, Reno and others went silent on Buhari. But when Ameachi lost to wike he continued to insult wike even calling him a murderer. Ameachi definitely has no respect for constituted authority. No other gov that lost to their political opponent behaves the way Ameachi has done. So, since he has a big mouth that cant close he should go and explain his dealings to wikes commission of inquiry.Ameachi does not have my sympaties.Ameachi believes in playing to the gallery at all times. It is a sign of exreme arrogance. |
BossAyuk:It is people like you that are encouraging corruption in Nigeria by being biased yet you pretend to be fighting it. The fight against corruption must be unambiguous and total, irrespective of d personality or d party. My vote went to Buhari not because i like his face but because i thought he would fight corruption right from d outset of his administration. And i cant see anything wise in the first emboldened sentence above. U are simply twisting logic on its head. Who is in d best position to help CCB evaluate any declaration - is it one small clerk that they send around who can easily be bribed and manipulated or the general public? One of the first steps to take to end corruption in Nigeria is insisting every public officer publicly declare their assets. Insisting on this will scare half of these corrupt politicians we have off politics. Of course, there are other things to do but this is one of the first steps to take. Buhari does not need to wait for any approval from CCB to make his declaration public, he ought to have released it simultaneously, both to CCB and the public- since he has nothing to hide. And i think CCB is a partner in crime with Nigerian politicians. We must not trust them. We must hold our destiny in our hands - so, Buhari and all Governors must declare their asset to the public who will then scrutinize and blow whistle when necessary. After the public has blown the whistle then the CCB can do prosecution or whatever they are meant to do. It should not be otherwise. For now these politicians, the CCB and the rest are simply playing on the intelligence of the populace. |
johnie:Is that Sowore? I thought he was on exile. |
Can someone provide the portrait of Ameachis wife, Judith, with her profession and credentials? This helps us make more comparisons between the husbands since they are always in constant battles. Hope that adds to their battle points! The two Jacob and Esau of Rivers State. |
olaric:STUPID QUESTION. |
efilefun:You are quite observant. |
IamOdin:Bro or Sis, why are u people trying to discourage a young lady setting the right agenda. You should encourage her. Her post does not humiliate poor English speakers but challenges them to improve. As a nation we must criticise one another in all areas - educational, political, religious to improve. The developed countries we worship today became what they are through centuries of continuous self criticism. The fact that you come from a poor background does not mean you should not improve on your spoken English. Nigerians are just too lazy to pick a book and learn by themselves. Nigerian youths should be ready to eat the humble pie when faulted and learn thereby, not going about bragging about senselessness. |

omenka:Of course APC cannot be absolved of this blame. And NOI is the last person to blame. The woman had long before now been asking for saving for the rainy day but the govs, especially APC govs, were against savings. They prefer to spend everything. Thats why they are mostly indebted today. They are even in the Supreme court as we speak over the Sovereign Wealth Fund(SWF) which NOI proposed as a way of saving for the rainy day but rejected by them. They wanted all incomes to be shared and spent immediately. I remember Tinubu and Atiku calling NOI a voodoo economist over this. Now her predictions have come true. Almost all the states have no savings except the federal government. So, dont even think APC is free of this. They are the biggest culprits. http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/foreign-reserves-accumulation-voodoo-economics-tinubu/ www.nairaland.com/1218713/tinubu-fg-practising-voodoo-economic/1 www.nairaland.com/558012/jonathan-operating-voodoo-economics-alleges |
BiHung:Tafa Balogun was only draged on the floor because the President gave the approval. Today, Jonathan is the President. There were many court orders that Obj disregarded in his days and heavens did not crash. |
Matttthew:Why bros. Maybe u should speak for urself. Am also schooling in france but i care, biko. ![]() |
englishmart:Seems u didnt get the moral of the story. Unlike the fight between PDP and APC or Boko Haram, this one will affect the price of garri all over the country and everybody will feel it. |
