If it is a lie then let El-Rufai publish the truth. The govs have given room to speculations by not publicly declaring their assets. Public declaration of assets is d first step to stopping corruption and if El-Rufai meant well he would simply do the needful instead of attempting to intimidate the press. Same applies to all other govs across party lines (and if it makes you happy Wike inclusive).

Our job as citizens is to encourage them to expose one another not having sympaties for any of them, unless, of course you are one of them. Like what good ministerial position that can unseat an elected gov? Is any minister superior to an elected gov? Even if Ameachi becomes EFCC chairman he can not touch Wike due to immunity. And if he is made minister of finance he can not stop rivers statutory allocation, not even the President can, ask obj/lagos lg case. Wike has all the constitutional protection unlike Ameachi. No ministerial position has immunity, so at least for the next 4years Wike will be Ameachis boss.

The wise thing to do is wait till the CCB is done with evaluation of the contents of their Asset Declaration Form, when this is approved and released and Buhari doesn't read it out in public, you can now continue your "opposition struggle" by opening numerous threads.

Your current rants are baseless boy. It's barely 48hours President Buhari/Yemi Osinbanjo declared their assets to the CCB.

It is people like you that are encouraging corruption in Nigeria by being biased yet you pretend to be fighting it. The fight against corruption must be unambiguous and total, irrespective of d personality or d party. My vote went to Buhari not because i like his face but because i thought he would fight corruption right from d outset of his administration. And i cant see anything wise in the first emboldened sentence above. U are simply twisting logic on its head. Who is in d best position to help CCB evaluate any declaration - is it one small clerk that they send around who can easily be bribed and manipulated or the general public? One of the first steps to take to end corruption in Nigeria is insisting every public officer publicly declare their assets. Insisting on this will scare half of these corrupt politicians we have off politics. Of course, there are other things to do but this is one of the first steps to take. Buhari does not need to wait for any approval from CCB to make his declaration public, he ought to have released it simultaneously, both to CCB and the public- since he has nothing to hide. And i think CCB is a partner in crime with Nigerian politicians. We must not trust them. We must hold our destiny in our hands - so, Buhari and all Governors must declare their asset to the public who will then scrutinize and blow whistle when necessary. After the public has blown the whistle then the CCB can do prosecution or whatever they are meant to do. It should not be otherwise. For now these politicians, the CCB and the rest are simply playing on the intelligence of the populace.

Of course APC cannot be absolved of this blame. And NOI is the last person to blame. The woman had long before now been asking for saving for the rainy day but the govs, especially APC govs, were against savings. They prefer to spend everything. Thats why they are mostly indebted today.They are even in the Supreme court as we speak over the Sovereign Wealth Fund(SWF) which NOI proposed as a way of saving for the rainy day but rejected by them. They wanted all incomes to be shared and spent immediately. I remember Tinubu and Atiku calling NOI a voodoo economist over this. Now her predictions have come true. Almost all the states have no savings except the federal government. So, dont even think APC is free of this. They are the biggest culprits.

When a court gives an order of arrest, it doesn't follow any hierarchy of the police force...the court directs! And he will be arrested immediately by an order Mandamus's... Chai!!! The nearest DPO will be served and he ia duty bound to arrest the IGP..it is this DPO that will use discretion to either respectfully or disrespectfully arrest the guy..but either way, the guy will be put in a black maria.

Tafa Balogun was only draged on the floor because the President gave the approval. Today, Jonathan is the President. There were many court orders that Obj disregarded in his days and heavens did not crash.
