Below in the screenshot are two preachers known in the early twentieth century.

Charles Taze Russell known by the general public as founder of Jehovah's Witnesses and Joseph Ayodele Babalola the founder of C.A.C

These two men were making noise in the streets during their time causing noise pollution but people were used to it since all religions back then does the same thing to call people's attention.

But while the followers of Babalola till today hasn't figured out that such form of preaching is unchristian a group that later came out of those following Charles Taze Russell has found out through further research in the scriptures that such form of preaching is wrong.

You don't like to be tossed here and their like babies right. Solid foods don't belong to toddlers. Government is not against preaching on the street, motor parks or marketplaces. Even your Soludo was clear on that. When you bring a topic to this platform, don't bring your misinformation and bias to colour it.
Soludo is a human even if he doesn't believe in any God he can't ask people not to talk to people but making noise is what we are all condemning in our society.
Below my comment is a member of RCCG

immortalcrown:
That manner of preaching only adds to the noise pollution we have in our society.

Motorists generate their own noise, shops use generators and sound system to contribute their own, preachers have to do their own.
Neither Adeboye, Kumuyi, Oyedepo Mouka, Olukoya, Oyakilome or Ibiyiomie ever speak against this noise pollution in the streets because that is how most of them started gathering followers like Babalola did in the twentieth century but as sane individuals they are all against noise pollution! smiley

That's why your friend is restless. Calling me apostates, disguised atheist and all sorts of names is what will make Achorladey accept that public preaching = NOISEMAKING. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
Stop being childish!
Public preaching is not what this guy is saying stop misconstruing people's comments for God's sake.
I myself have seen Catholics preaching in the public but they approach people and ask for their time to speak with them not shouting indiscriminately into the air causing noise pollution.
Ọmọ it's two different things so you can't cause confusion with this no way! cheesy

I know how Jehovah's Witnesses regard Roman Catholic anyway
No religion regards another as friend that is sure.
Deeperlife and RCCG may seem friendly in the public but Kumuyi and Adeboye are real enemies.
WHY?
Both of them teach different doctrines so whoever follows Kumuyi will have one reason or another to view followers of Adeboye as counterfeit.
That doesn't mean where both of them agree on a particular topic you should start digging out differences in their doctrines to create confusion it won't work! wink

Agreed! smiley

The question was..... what is public preaching since noise is unorganised sound? cheesy grin grin
I am not asking you about the right or wrong of Governor Soludo.
Public preaching is approaching people in market places, parks or museums any place where a large number of people is so that they can notice you talking to someone but unorganized noise in when you are shouting indiscriminately at passersby who felt unconcerned.
No sane individual can make a law telling people not to talk to their neighbor in the public but all normal people hates noise! wink

Achorladey na strong man aswear grin. His stance in the face of many good options still baffles me angry
What pained him mostly is how he failed to turn you and i against each other after going into differences between the Catholic Church and Jehovah's Witneses.
That's why he's so bitter he did it last year and succeeded because the other guy fell for his bait! wink

My brother, from all indication, I see that his heart is made up with that but then he's an adult. If our advice doesn't make him change his mind, then government may.
What he's doing now is trying to save his face from shame.
He's agreed that it's wrong to constitute nuisance in the public in the name of preaching.
So let him continue yawning off point it's his usual habit when he doesn't know what to say again.

CJStarz:
Na you wey just convert from Islam be d correct Witness.
Achorlady just dey yarn off point
That's what he did last year until he was able to convince a commentator who has told him the bitter until that one turned against me saying i offended him for quoting him. cheesy

From another angle he is making sense!

Today the ongoing war in C.A.C over monetary issues and positions is evident in the leadership of the religion.

So if Babalola's children are not living big today while those pastors that spring from the church are claiming they were blessed by the god of Babalola and doing everything manly possible to secure wealth for their own children surely Fatoyinbo is right! undecided

Even Jesus' family were poor and never recognized among first century Jews which is the major reason why most Jews till today doubts the existence of Jesus.
So what? undecided

Issue resolved!
Public preaching is not the problem but noise pollution which is irritating.
Some countries made rules stating that noise pollution is punishable offense under the law.
So how are they handling the case of megachurches and mosques? smiley

I don't need to corner association to make a point. Preaching publicly is different from making noise publicly.

If you want to learn, learn and stop dancing here and there asking me to go back and read comments that tells me public preaching is noise making and had no impact, it is not honorable and disorganised. cheesy cheesy grin

What is there to go back and see. To start your usual merry go round kind of thinking. If your Bible don't have definition of terms go and pick a dictionary and read the meaning of the terms

1. Preaching publicly

2. Noise making publicly.
I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses and we are known for preaching publicly and from house to house {Act 20:20} so what else could be my point if not noise pollution? cheesy

Bother leave this matter. I have said what I mean, and mean what I said
Yesterday he lied that i blocked him that is why i kept quoting him because if you block anyone both of you won't see each other's comments so to prove him a liar i continued quoting him.
Now he's begging me to block him so that i won't be exposing his devilish acts on the forum.

I said it and i will repeat it a million times.

Whoever supports street noise making in the name of preaching Christ supposed to be doing it for Christ if such a person is not ashamed of Christ so whoever says it's OK but doesn't participate in doing it is what o? cheesy

Achorladey said when he picks up his megaphone and goes to the streets let whoever is irritated should come and stop him which means he often does it for Christ but the truth remains that whoever does that shouldn't be so ashamed to preach Christ here where nobody can see your face yet you are free to express yourself.

A female professor (Muslim) mounted a podium and started lecturing female students on why they should welcome polygamy as a way of life.
When it's time for the students to ask her questions based on her speech they were passing the microphone to each student that has something to say or ask then the microphone was given to one of the students and she said:

God bless you ma for this eye opening speech i've been scared to approach you all these years because i have had three children for your husband being his side chic but now that i know you aren't what he called you this means we can both be friends.

The professor fainted immediately! huh
