I remember my friend's sister who keeps arguing in support of polygamy because she's a Muslim but when her husband got another lady pregnant she wanted him dead so i asked my friend her brother who is a JW: "But your sister has always been in support of polygamy, what is wrong this time?" He said she was just been defensive since he is the only member of their family that left the religion for JW and all of them wanted him to break his integrity by marrying another woman as his wife supported his decision to become a JW though they were doing all that just to get back at her because they promised her a lot if she kick against his move after all JWs won't baptize him without having a wedding certificate so they promised her a lot if she insist that she won't follow him to any marriage registry. But his wife told her mother who almost cursed her that it's going to be in her own interest since as a JWs with the marriage registry his won't have the privilege of marrying another woman! So she complied but now the same woman who always speak in support of polygamy wants her husband dead for doing what she said is halal (approved by God) |

A Female Professor was invited for a lecture and the topic she chose to talk about was polygamy.
She talked about the benefits of polygamy, why women should embrace it and support their husbands towards achieving it.
As she kept emphasising on this topic, a lady from the audience raised her hand, stood up and introduced herself before speaking.
Lady: "Prof, I really appreciate this topic because I am relieved of my fear, I never knew you are this simple and understanding. Your message has given me the opportunity to open up to you".
She cleared her throat and continued.
"I have been married to your husband for the past four years, and between us, we have a set of twins".
To the greatest surprise of all in the hall, the Professor fainted and was rushed to the hospital.
After she was revived, she opened her eyes to see the same lady standing by her bedside.
Lady: Prof, I don't know who your husband is. I just lied to you to see if you can handle what you preach to others.
Next time, please speak on subjects that you are good at. Don’t stand up on a stage and throw your thoughts around just because you have the title professor in front of your name.

You know it is not meant to be literal hence you don't fire back "when did I become your love?!" First of all you are not my BROTHER in any way because you and i are not related so i'm your NEIGHBORS. Secondly calling someone GOOD to you may mean nothing but to my own teacher it's serious {Luke 18:18} but all the same let me make this clear to you: If you're not a JW you're my NEIGHBOR like anyone else only JWs are my BROTHERS. |

In the first instance false religion misconstrued everything. When people agree to live by the same standard that makes them one family it's the first thing that should come to mind before thinking of punishment for whoever turn against the standard that millions have agreed is the best. But then such punishment should not be bloody. WHY? In ancient Israel an apostate is to be stoned to death and the first stone must be casted by the closest relative of the apostate so if anyone knows he or she is no longer comfortable with the laws of their God such a person have the option to leave the land of Israel for a place where he or she could practice whatever pleases him or her. Today there is no country having such rules because the God people worship are imported into their land unlike the God of Israel who fought for His own worshipers to secure a place for them. He brought them from a place where they were serving as slaves to a land where they all became freemen so He has the right to impose on them such strict rules. In our time there is freedom of worship because no God fought to secure a land for inhabitants therefore each person should be free to practice whatever faith he or she chooses yet if you decide to become a Muslim that means you are ready to live by all the rules of that God alongside other worshipers so if you later decide to opt out then Muslims wouldn't treat you as their fellow worshiper anymore but as they treat their neighbors who aren't Muslims but your case is different because you have known what the religion stands for therefore members needs to separate themselves not to have any dealings with you as you may corrupt the minds of other faithfuls with your thoughts which now negate their beliefs! 2John 10-11 Killing such a person is needless because if their is wisdom in Islam such a person may learn something of higher value than what Islam has from other religions which Muhammad himself said Muslims should not reject but what if he or she couldn't find a better performing group than Muslims? Surely the prodigal child will return home if he or she is sincere! |

Your Trinitarian mentors gave biased rendition of John 10:33. Them change am to capital G. The same small letter Theos (god) is @ 2 Corinthians 4:4, Acts 28:6, 1 Corinthians 8:4 Screenshot evidence.
 Jesus quoted Psalms 82:6 (@ John 10:34-36) to prove he is a god because God his Father calls his son a god. Jesus is a god, the Son of God. God's Sons=gods. It's OK my brother, leave him with his I AM worshipers at least they all know JWs are people of a faith that's working {James 2:18-26} just as Jesus said: Now this is the basis for judgment: that the light has come into the world, but men have loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked. For whoever practices vile things hates the light and does not come to the light, so that his works may not be reproved. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that his works may be made manifest as having been done in harmony with God.” John 3:19-21Light is what everyone can see from afar so whoever goes into the light will become vulnerable to questioning because everyone is seeing what the light captures but what happens to darkness? People can hide under it as no one could see them in order to ask them any question. What is the name of their churches? If they want to prove they have the light let them mention the name of their churches so we can compare teachings and benefits gotten so far but if they are ashame there is no need arguing with them it's just a waste of time! |
Christianity Etc › Re: 20 Reasons Why The Law Of Moses Was Abolished by MaxInDHouse(m): 5:51am On Jul 04, 2025 |
When people want to lie they start telling an irrelevant long story. So you typed all these epistle just to say Jesus was wrong at Matthew 5:17 shey? Well done! Ken4Christ: As usual, you pretended as though you didn't see the overwhelming evidence that affirms that the Law of Moses has ended.
But let me help you further. Read slowly the analysis of Matthew 5:17 you quoted below. I dedicated a full chapter to it in my book, "Is The Church Under the Law of Moses?"
CHAPTER TWELVE - What Did Christ Meant When He Said He Did Not Come to Destroy the Law?
During His Sermon on the Mount, our Lord Jesus made a profound statement that is often misunderstood regarding the continued relevance of the Law of Moses to the Church today. He said:
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy the law but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you. Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled” (Matthew 5:17-18)
This misinterpretation of the scripture passage above contributes to the ongoing controversy. Many Christians mistakenly believe that 'fulfill' means Jesus came to enforce the Law. This is absurd, considering that Jesus' ministry was frequently attacked for His non-adherence to the Law of Moses. Let's examine a few occasions when Jesus was accused of breaking the Law: The Disciples of Jesus Plucking the Ears of Corn on a Sabbath Day Matthew 12:1-8 1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; 4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? 6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. 7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
In the passage above, our Lord Jesus defended what his disciples did even though what they did was as good as breaking the Sabbath. Well, our Lord Jesus said he was not subject to the rule of Sabbath. So, it will be an insane argument for anyone to say that Jesus came to enforce the Law of Moses which he violated several times. The Healing of a Man Who Had a Withered Hand Matthew 12:9-14 9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue: 10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. 11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? 12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. 13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. 14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
In the passage above, they questioned the legality of Jesus healing on a Sabbath day. But Jesus asked a rhetorical question which they couldn’t answer. He went ahead and healed the man. And they began to plot how they would kill him. This is another clear example of an instance where our Lord Jesus violated the Sabbath. The statement our Lord Jesus made in Matthew 5:17-18 couldn’t be interpreted as meaning that he came to enforce the Law of Moses. There are many more occasions Jesus violated the Sabbath that space will not permit us to include here. They are contained in the following references which you can read at your leisure time; Mark 3:2, Luke 6:2,7; 13:14; John 5:1-10, 16. What Then Did Jesus Mean When He Said He Didn’t Come to Destroy the Law of Moses but to Fulfill it? To destroy the law means to arbitrarily annul the law without following the due process. So, he didn’t use his power as the Son of God to abolish the Law of Moses. He had to fulfill it. The word 'fulfill' according to the Webster Dictionary has manifold meaning under- listed depending on the context it is used: To carry out a promise. To obey a law or command. To satisfy a prayer or desire. To accomplish or complete a task. To answer a purpose. To comply with conditions. To prove true a prophecy To realize a destiny. We'll take each of this meaning, analyze it, and attempt to correlate it with its usage in Matthew 5:17 as well as other related scriptures. 1. To Carry Out a Promise Was there any promise under the law or the prophets that Jesus came to carry out? The book of the law refers to the first 5 books in the Bible; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These books are also known as the book of Moses that contains the laws of Moses which actually started with the Ten Commandments in Exodus, Chapter 20. The prophets are all the prophetic books from the book of Isaiah through to the book of Malachi. In Genesis 12:2-3, God made a 7-fold promise to Abraham and the last of the promise is of particular interest; “in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”
How were all the families of the earth going to be blessed when he had no child as at the time of the promise? God made the promise clearer in Genesis 22:18,
“And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed….”
Apostle Paul revealed to us in his letter that the seed God talked about is Christ (Galatians 3:16). Christ in this context refers to both Jesus and the church. This promise came to fulfillment through faith and not by the Law of Moses (Romans 4:13). Matthew 5:17 can be paraphrased thus:
“Think not that I am come to end the law or the prophets unjustly, but to carry out the promise God made to Abraham, contained in the book of the law. For assuredly I say to you, you (Jews) must still obey all that the law commands until the promise comes into effect.”
And this promise came into effect with the death of Jesus;
“For a testament is of force after men are dead, otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth” (Hebrews 9:17).
There are several other promises (which of course are a result of the Abrahamic covenant) contained in the Old Testament that were literally fulfilled by Christ. Isaiah 53:4-5 was confirmed as being fulfilled by Matthew 8:17 and 1 Peter 2:24. The scope of this book will not permit us to list many other scriptures that were fulfilled by Christ. Now that these scriptures are fulfilled, the Jews are no longer under obligation to keep the Law of Moses. So, if the Jews that were given the law are no longer obliged to keep it, then Christian Women shouldn't be made to feel guilty by not keeping the law of dress code as contained in Deuteronomy 22:5 which in any case doesn’t necessarily condemn women putting on trousers. But those troubling the church with this verse of scripture makes it look like it prohibits women from putting on trousers. 2. To Obey a Law or Command This definition seems to agree with those who assert that Christ came to enforce our obedience to the law. As mentioned in the introductory chapter, scripture must be interpreted in harmony with other scriptures and should not be used to win an argument. If Christ came to enforce the law, He would have permitted the woman caught in the very act of adultery to be stoned to death when her accusers brought her to Him. (John 8:3-11). On the contrary, as earlier stated, His ministry came under intense criticism for His non-adherence to the Law of Moses;
“And they watched him whether he would heal on a Sabbath day that they might accuse him” (Mark 3:2).
Jesus questioned,
“Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath days or to do evil? to save life or to kill? (Mark 3:4).
The Jews adhered to the law of Sabbath to the point that a sick person will be denied medical attention just because they wanted to keep the law. But our Lord Jesus remarked:
“The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath, therefore the Son of man is also Lord of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:27-28).
Jesus is saying here that He himself is not subject to the law. He was not born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man but of God. He however did not use this privilege to dishonour the law but rather used it as an opportunity to do good. In Luke 13:15, 14:5, Jesus remarked: “Thou hypocrite, does not each one of you on the Sabbath day lose his ox or ass from the stall and lead him away to watering? Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the Sabbath day?”
The Christian Woman who also has received the life of Christ is not subject to the Law of Moses. Thus, the Scripture declares:
“Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, (1 Timothy 1:9).
So, the word fulfill in the context used in Matthew 5:17 does not mean to obey a law or command as many Christians had hitherto believed. 3. To Satisfy a Prayer or Desire It was the desire of the prophets of old to see the day of Christ but so many couldn't. Hence, Peter wrote:
“Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you….and the glory that should follow” (1 Peter 1:10-11).
Jesus remarked that Abraham looked forward to His days and he saw it and was glad (John 8:56). So, He came as an answer to the desires of the Old Testament Saints even though the Jews for which he came for primarily could not recognize him even up till this moment. Thus, Paul wrote:
“…blindness in part is happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved….” (Rom. 11:25-26). 4. To Accomplish or Complete a Task Jesus was a man on a mission and he completed his task. On the cross, He exclaimed, “it is finished”. He came to take away the first covenant that He may establish the second (Hebrews 10:9). The Scripture therefore states:
“And for this cause he is the mediator of the New Testament that by means of death, FOR THE REDEMPTION OF THE TRANSGRESSION THAT WERE UNDER THE FIRST TESTAMENT...” (Hebrews 9:15).
The Jews under the law have been redeemed as emphasized in the previous chapter. No Christian Woman should be made subject to any law of dress code. What should be emphasized is decency. “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why as though living in the world are ye subject to ordinances (rules, laws)” (Colossians 2:20). 5. To Answer a Purpose The ultimate goal of God is to establish His Kingdom on earth which will be ruled and governed by His principle and not by the Law of Moses which was weak, unprofitable and faulty (Galatians 4:9, Hebrews.7:18, 8:7). Jesus came to bring many sons unto glory (Hebrews 2:10). He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). The Law of Moses couldn't give life. Trying to obey Deuteronomy.22:5 will not make you any more righteous. As it is written:
“…they have no effect when it comes to conquering a person's evil thoughts and desires” (Colossians 2:23, New Living Translation). 6. To Comply with Conditions Jesus came to deliver the Jews from the curse of the law and the Gentile from the condemnation of the law. The Jews came under the curse (Deuteronomy 28:15-68) because they couldn't keep the law (Galatians 3:10). The presence of the law brought condemnation to the Gentiles because they weren't included- they were strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world (Ephesians 2:12). But it must be done in such a way that God will not be unjust to Satan, mankind or Himself. There're conditions to be met. No shortcuts. The wages of sin is death, declares Romans 6:23. Blood must be shed;
“…it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul…without the shedding of blood there is no remission” (Leviticus 17:11, Hebrews. 9:22).
Satan tempted Jesus to avoid the cross. He told our Lord Jesus:
“…all the power will I give thee, and the glory of them for that is delivered unto me, and to whomsoever I will, I give it” (Luke 4:6).
If Jesus hadn't died and instructed the Jews to stop obeying the law, then the law would have been said to be destroyed. Hence, he said: “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven, but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law till all be fulfilled” (Matthew 5:19,18).
So, the law was to be in place until it was fulfilled (its requirements met). For instance, when a student submits his project work in partial fulfillment of his requirement for graduation, he is free to graduate and move on to the next level of study if he so wishes. Jesus also completed His Project Work, met the conditions needed for the abolition of the law. In John 19:30, Jesus said, “it is finished”. The price has been paid. Hence Paul wrote:
“Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become DEAD TO THE LAW BY THE BODY OF CHRIST that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God” (Romans 7:4).
The other meanings, TO PROVE TRUE A PROPHECY and TO REALIZE A DESTINY are different terms used to explain what has just been discussed in the analyses of the other meanings at No 4 and 5 respectively and their separate analyses will be unnecessary. So, Jesus did not come to uphold the Law of Moses. His sacrificial death did what the law could not do;
“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who work not after the flesh but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:3-4).
The law told the Jews what to do but didn't give them the ability to do them. But Jesus gave us Eternal Life when he was raised up from the dead. Now, we have the very nature of God in us which is Love;
“For the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost he has given us” (Romans 5:5)
And when you walk in love, you will not violate the righteous requirements of the commandments of God contained in the Law of Moses. Thus, Paul remarked:
“For this, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal, and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour, therefore, LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW” (Romans 13:9-10).
In addition, Galatians 5:22-23 says:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: AGAINST SUCH THERE IS NO LAW.
In a previous verse of the same chapter, Apostle Paul wrote:
“If ye are led of the Spirit ye are not under the law” (Galatians 5:18).
We're therefore not under obligation to do the law, including Deuteronomy 22:5 which of course doesn’t even talk about trousers. Those who prohibit Christian Women from putting on trouser wear on the basis of what they think Deuteronomy 22:5 addressed are ignorant of God's righteousness and are going about to establish their own righteousness instead of submitting to the righteousness of God (Romans 10:3).
“For we are the circumcision which worship God in the Spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh (law). And be found in Him not having my own righteousness, which is of the law but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith” (Philippians 3:3&9). |

Christianity Etc › Re: 20 Reasons Why The Law Of Moses Was Abolished by MaxInDHouse(m): 9:01am On Jul 03, 2025 |
The laws weren't abolished according to Christ Jesus {Matthew 5:17} rather God used it to enlighten Israelites of their need to be spiritually clean {Exodus 19:5} and He told them that a simpler to grasp {Deuteronomy 18:18-19} then God presented a model in the person of Christ Jesus {Matthew 17:5} for the whole world. Now only the Israelites had God's laws but were they ready to learn from it and live in holiness? The answer is NO! Jeremiah 31:31-34 The constitution that's supposed to make them special people they rejected and continue to question it's Author {Malachi 3:7} that's why the laws aren't in effect right from the day they killed God's Son. So whoever wants to worship God today doesn't need to go through the Israelites and their system of worship anymore rather such a person only need to focus on Jesus and the group he commissioned. But as for the law we still need to look at it sometimes when we find it hard to understand certain things Jesus taught because he perfected God's law through his thoughts words and actions! Ken4Christ: Scripture Evidence That Proves That the Law of Moses has been abolished
Scriptures pointing to the end of the Law are too numerous to be ignored. We will look at some of them in this chapter;
“And by him all that believe are justified from all things, FROM WHICH YE COULD NOT BE JUSTIFIED BY THE LAW OF MOSES.” (Acts 13:39).
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: FOR YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW, BUT UNDER GRACE.” (Romans 6:14).
BUT NOW WE ARE DELIVERED FROM THE LAW, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” (Romans 7:6).
“FOR CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW for righteousness to every one that believeth.” (Romans 10:4).
“CHRIST HATH REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians 3:13-14).
“But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, WE ARE NO LONGER UNDER A SCHOOLMASTER.” (Galatians 3:23-25).
“HAVING ABOLISHED in his flesh the enmity, EVEN THE LAW OF COMMANDMENTS contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.” (Ephesians 2:15).
“BLOTTING OUT THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.” (Colossians 2:14).
“For there is verily A DISANNULLING OF THE COMMANDMENT going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.” (Hebrews 7:18).
“For the priesthood being changed, THERE IS MADE OF NECESSITY A CHANGE ALSO OF THE LAW.” (Hebrews 7:12).
“And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” (Hebrews 9:15).
“Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.” (Hebrews 10:9).
All these scriptures speak for themselves. It will only take a dishonest person to still argue that the law has not ended. Just as we have crooks in the society, we also have spiritual crooks in the church who will twist the scriptures to their own destruction. |

God did not abolish the mosaic law {Matthew 5:17-20} the law was arranged or constructed like a road that will lead faithful people to the Christ {Romans 7:7} Adamic sin brought sickness, suffering and death so mankind needs a perfect human who will lay down his life to redeem us that's why Jesus is called the "last Adam" {1Corinthans 15:45} because through his obedience and faithfulness many will learn from him {1Peter 2:21} so the law serves like a mirror which exposed our sinful state {James 1:23} making us to see how dirty we are with our self righteousness! 64:6 |

FreeIgboho: Many, many things point to Jesus being God the Son of God. The "I am" thing is only a small part of it. Why not open your mind and see things as they really are? Why must you close your mind?! I can't be open minded than i am doing right now! I asked you to mention the name of your church you refused ok present the group that is practicing what your I AM teaches so i can learn from them you got provoked, i asked you to list the works of your I AM at least let me see the things that shows there is a living God bearing I AM you insulted me yet you said i should open my mind. How? So it's until i say "i agree your Jesus is God" that's when you will know i've been open minded shey? Your friend tctrill who said he agreed came to argue with you in the first place: tctrills: I choose to believe God and disbelief you. You can know God and he wants us to know him. you are a man claiming it's impossible to know God while God is inviting us to know him. For me, it's a very easy choice. But shied away when i told both of you that true believers should have the same line of thought {John 17:22; 1Corinthans 1:10; Ephesians 4:3} isn't that the reason you started calling me names? Ọmọ nobody stops you from worshiping your I AM so go and worship your I AM in peace! |

FreeIgboho: You goaded me into saying something I wouldn't have said! I mean how can Jews say verbatim: John 10:33,: "We are not stoning you for any good work," they replied, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God," Yet you keep insisting they were not going to stone him for claiming to be God! Jeez! Anyway I didn't mean to be insulting and if you take it as such I hereby withdraw the statement. But if I don't use "sheepishly" what word would you advice me to use? I said "you don't know anything" and i'll repeat it a million times because most people who insult others for their faith feels pressured to do so though that is a sign they lack SELF-CONTROL {Galatians 5:23} if you set rules and started breaking it yourself that shows you have nothing to offer. You called us "CULT" repeatedly yet you're the same person who set the rules that nobody should insult anyone or speak abusively of other people's faith: FreeIgboho: (Please DO NOT come close to insulting anyone's beliefs on this thread, be it directly or indirectly, overtly or covertly. Especially do NOT talk bad about Jehovah's Witnesses or Moslems. Mods please help us ban anyone who violates this) Please i don't deal with weak people who can't live by their own rules so it's better we end this, if you feel like worshiping Jesus as your God go ahead with your I AM worshipers no one is stopping you but saying others should not practice their faith simply because they don't follow your tradition is what Islamists are doing which made the world condemned their religion today! |

@ FreeIgboho please stop mentioning my name i have all the evidence i need that the true God exists because JWs are fulfilling what the Bible God promised in the absence of Jehovah's Witnesses in our time nobody can convince me that there is a God anywhere. Meanwhile you have turned against your own instructions in the beginning of this thread: FreeIgboho: (Please DO NOT come close to insulting anyone's beliefs on this thread, be it directly or indirectly, overtly or covertly. Especially do NOT talk bad about Jehovah's Witnesses or Moslems. Mods please help us ban anyone who violates this) You have insulted and called us names throughout the pages of your thread yet i maintained my calmness just as you suggested at the beginning of the thread. Well just know that no religion whatsoever can stand beside Jehovah's Witnesses organization because we have what it takes to prove that there is a God in our midst. Jehovah said to Jehovah's Witnesses: “You are my witnesses,” declares Jehovah, “Yes, my servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and have faith in me And understand that I am the same One. Before me no God was formed, And after me there has been none." Isaiah 43:10So the activities of Jehovah's Witnesses which fulfilled what God promised in the Bible serves as the evidence of God's existence according to the highlighted in blue. In the absence of these activities pointing to what God promised in the Bible there is no proof of God's existence in our time!Thanks for your time! |

FreeIgboho: It is NOT my opinion. Use your head for once instead of SHEEPISHLY following JW doctrine. It was clearly demonstrated that Jesus knew what people would think (another thing you'd associate with God). Obviously he KNEW they'd know what he meant - that he was God! Not only that, he spoke with authority. Now imagine someone who spoke with authority say emphatically "I Am" instead of the grammatically correct "I was". It is NOT a crime to use your head sometimes! Perhaps your head should have thought of where your Jesus is working out what God promised in our time before assuming your I AM is Jesus! |

FreeIgboho: Great difference! Bottom line, Jews shortened it to "I am" as the name of God which you dared not utter. Which was why they were going to stone Jesus for blasphemy! Your own opinion! They wanted to stone him for claiming he existed before Abraham only heavenly beings are immortal but they knew his father, mother and siblings so to them he blasphemed! |

FreeIgboho: See him, "I am who I am" that Jews shortened to "I am". Comedy skit! Well Yahweh was written as YHVH which many translators preferred to render as JEHOVAH the divine name means "He causes to become" As for the phrase your people translated I AM THAT I AM my own Bible rendered “I Will Become What I Choose to Become.”So it's not the same as YHWH! |

FreeIgboho: You were told to point to one place Jesus told anyone NOT to worship him or rejected worship like everyone else. He is divine! By the way, you keep saying "I AM" worshippers. You are one! Yahweh (Jehovah) literally means "I am"!! Please don't turn this into a comedy nah! Ọmọ that's not the meaning of Jehovah but since you don't want to learn from us go and find out what YHWH means! |

FreeIgboho: You're contradicting yourself. You said you wouldn't believe God exists if JW didn't exist. Well, JW didn't exist! You only need to learn! When John the baptist walked the earth and started fulfilling prophecies about the one who will prepare the way for the Christ Jews living then ran to him because that's a clear evidence that their God is alive! During Jesus' day his ministry is evidence of God's existence as he fulfilled so many prophecies about the Christ. Today Jehovah's Witnesses organization is the only evidence that the same God of the Bible is real! How? Because none of those things written in the Bible happened in my presence it's all in just that book but when Jehovah's Witnesses began fulfilling what the Bible God promised it's evident that this God is real. Do you understand now? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Jesus Is DEFINITELY God * by MaxInDHouse(m): 8:17pm On Jul 02, 2025 |
FreeIgboho: This is blasphemy. Mention any place in the Bible or anywhere else where Jesus told someone not to worship him. How can a divine being even THINK of saying that?! Read John 17:3 and 20:17 Jesus directed his disciples to the person they should worship in the two verses! |

FreeIgboho: If u were born at time of Jesus. Of course i would believe because there are prophecies pointing to the activities of the Christ. Jehovah's Witnesses organization is the only evidence that proves God's existence in our time! |

FreeIgboho: You are being economical with the truth and you know it. Here's Acts 10: 25 As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet and worshipped him. 26 But Peter made him get up. “Stand up,” he said, “I am only a man myself.” Can u ever in a million years imagine Jesus saying that? Jesus said that countless times but you I AM worshipers won't agree with him so it's no need! |

FreeIgboho: Anybody can answer a hypothetical question about anything. By the way answer my hypothetical question about you staying JW if there was no God JW is the only proof of God's existence! So put it this way: If organization of Jehovah's Witnesses doesn't exist will i believe God exist?My answer is NO! |
