Well going by what Jesus himself said about his coming it's obvious he is around since the year 1914 organizing his faithful friends globally helping them to speed up the work he assigned to them.
He will not come visibly again rather his next line of action is to kill all those who are against his rulership {Luke 19:27} for the meantime he is working tirelessly with his organized followers in gathering humble people who love righteousness! Revelations 18:4

John the baptist, Jesus of Nazareth and the first century Jewish disciples of Christ were preaching telling people:

"Repent for God's Kingdom is near" Matthew 3:2; 4:17; 10:7

All these happened with the space of 4 years in the first century, John and Jesus were killed and Jesus' disciples were persecuted for years after that.


Imagine Jews that lived some 70, 100, 200 years after these events hearing it for the first time what these men did within those years who will take them seriously after decades yet nothing happened?

Well for your information that's what faithless people are calling "FIX DATING" because those that witnessed John shouting in the wilderness "repent for the Kingdom of heaven is near" will attach a date to what they witnessed at least 2-6 years from then expecting some changes to come.
Six months after John began his own Jesus from Nazareth started the same thing and it took him about three and half years preaching "repent for the kingdom of heaven is near" those that witnessed this man's message coupled with the fact that he performed great signs that John never did will also attach their own date in their mind at least 2-5 years afterwards expecting a change in fact this was obvious when John the baptist questioned Jesus' credentials because Jesus didn't come to rescue him in prison after seeing holy Spirit anointing Jesus! Matthew 11:2-3
Later after Jesus' death his disciples started the same thing but now taking the message to other land claiming the Christ has come and God's Kingdom is near with great signs, surely people that witnessed this will also attach date to the events expecting a change at least within 2-5 years after all John and Jesus said the same thing now these Jewish men performing miracles in the name of Jesus.

So the same thing is happening in our time not that the group specifically mentioned any date that God's Kingdom will come rather it's the their sense of URGENCY that's making people who saw them to attach DATES to what this people did, anytime there is an increase in the number of Witnesses proclaiming this message people that saw them will attach the date and don't forget that many don't even know what they are preaching they just assume the world is coming to an end when they see people in their streets preaching zealously. Some will ask not from the preachers but anyone they know and whatever that one tells them is what they will tell others about the group they saw!
