I asked a simple question and if you want to prove that Jesus preached about a place of torment probide answers to these questions:

What good did Lazarus do to gain favor?
What evil did the rich man do to warrant torment?

Fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

4. Matthew 13:40–42
Jesus describes the wicked being thrown into a furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

5. Matthew 13:49–50
At the end of the age, the wicked will be cast into the furnace of fire.

6. Matthew 18:8–9
It is better to enter life maimed than to be cast into everlasting fire or hell.

7. Matthew 22:13
The unprepared guest is cast into outer darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

8. Matthew 23:15
Jesus warns the scribes and Pharisees about making others "children of hell.

9. Matthew 23:33
How can you escape the condemnation of hell?

10. Matthew 25:41
Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

These will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

Jesus speaks of hell "where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched."

Fear God, who has authority to cast into hell.

Jesus warns that many will be shut out of God's kingdom.

The parable of the rich man and Lazarus describes the rich man in torment after death.

So you mean the writer of Matthew 24:34 knew a Revelation 7:7-12 will come around in a few decades to be used to reinterprete that verse? What's the probablilty that Jesus's audience ever read the Book of revelations to know what Jesus meant?

When he was talking most of his friends knew that he was talking about future events in fact after his resurrection his friends still asked him if God's Kingdom (which should be the end of all his prophecies) will come in their own generation {Act 1:6} but Jesus told them it's none of their business! Act 1:8

So this generation was not Jesus's generation and Jesus didn't even tell his audience the generation he was refering to!

Jesus once told his disciples something about John who wrote the Bible book of Revelations and they all got it wrong thinking John will still be alive when Jesus returns. John 21:22-23
So by the time John was writing what Jesus showed him as Revelation most of his contemporary disciples are dead but today we know better as all the things Jesus said in that prophecy is now fulfilling in our time!

Our struggles for material riches is not God's business what we praise Him for is the undeserved kindness to achieve what we desire not that He answered selfish prayers.
