In the first century Apostates were going from one place to another in search of those that submit themselves to the Christ.
Do you know why?
Well it's just to argue {Mark 9:14-16} the arguments ease their spiritual torments so each time a disciple of Christ wants to speak with an apostate they converge as if there is something they want to gain in the discussion but it's all about resistance to headship of God's anointed servants.
If you carefully observe these people you will discover that their interest isn't about getting scriptural answers to their numerous questions rather they are really disturbed that God's chosen ones have people who have submitted themselves willingly to work with them.

So when Jesus related the parable of Lazarus and the rich man he mentioned something that's noteworthy. Jesus said the rich man had five brothers {Luke 16:28} so the rich man demanded supernatural acts to help his future brothers from falling into the same condition but Abraham said if they don't believe Moses and the prophets (servants of God in their own time) neither will they believe any type of supernatural acts! Luke 16:31

So my brother let them continue in their thirst that is what Jehovah said will happen to apostates in all their generations! Isaiah 65:13-14

Whenever Jehovah's Witnesses gather for spiritual banquets Satan is not happy and just as he entered during the time of Job {Job 1:6-7} as he couldn't find a resting place (better place to worship) these apostates can't find anywhere to go so they keep on following the same organization they want to condemn bumper to bumper!🙂

Jesus appointed Judas Iscariot as one of the apostles yet he knew from the beginning what this guy will turn out to be. Judas Iscariot sold Jesus out for money and that's what led to Jesus' execution. Perhaps Jesus wasn't chosen by holy spirit or he wasn't having holy spirit when he selected Judas Iscariot as one of the Apostles!😀

In the first century Jesus told Peter (apostle) saying:

Because of that statement many first century disciples of Christ believe John the apostle will not die until Jesus returns. John 21:23

The wrong information was there for decades until all the Apostles have died but it was the same apostle John who later corrected the wrong notion that Jesus didn't say what they've been carrying around for decades!

Meanwhile they have said from the onset that they can make mistakes in organizational directions because they are not infallible.
