Of course it wasn't Paul vs Peter rather Paul correcting Peter publicly Paul was questioning why some first century disciples refused to stay in one congregation as they are going about following where Peter or Paul or Apollo will minister whereas there is nothing different in the teachings of all the congregations back then.

Today there is contradictions in churches of Christendom so they are not like the first century disciples of Christ that is why you need to figure out which church is teaching the truth not just going about claiming interdenominational.

Take for instance Jeremiah the prophet due to his love for Jerusalem and God's temple he kept praying to God but this is what God said in response:

Christianity requires total submission whether you understand or not {Luke 9:23} if you feel everything must be in black and white then you can never ever be a Christian.

The Apostles of Christ only had one thing in mind:

Jesus of Nazareth keeps on fulfilling the prophecies written in the scriptures about the Christ but his teachings are really really confusing they just stick to what the scriptures say about the Christ. Most of those who felt Jesus need to be corrected in the things he's saying never remain in Christianity! John 6:63-66

So as faithful individuals what we need is how those taking the lead are fulfilling what the scriptures say about the representatives of Christ in our time not thinking about how to correct every seeming error we notice!🙂

-aknowledge some errors and gray areas to see some flaws
-critic parts that are overdue to change.

Such members will most likely spot a doctrine and adjust even before their governing body or supreme head makes any pronouncement.
