As much as I do not judge those who abort beautiful babies, I think it can be likened to someone killing a witness to crime just so he won't be found out. I personally know it is sometimes a tough decision for those who engage in it, but come on, what if anything goes wrong? What if you die too? What if you get your tubes ruptured and lose the ability to ever conceive again?

The guilt one might feel after the act which of course is irreversible is nothing compared to the scorn self-righteous people might subject one to.

That's a good outlook, most probably borne out of experience. Even as a guy, single girls tend to maintain a distance once I tell them I am a father even when I don't have the child with me, so it is understandable what the ladies pass through. But relationships built on lies are already headed for the rocks. My friends think I am stupid for telling every girl I meet I already have a child, but I just can't help it. One of the first things anybody would know about me after knowing my name is that I have an adorable daughter and it is with such glee that tells you that you should never make the mistake of asking me to choose between both of you. It is easier for me to deny my existence than to deny I have her.
