PoliticsRe: Can Efcc Probe Obasanjo? by McKren(m): 10:39pm On Nov 16, 2007
Big B1:
A totall despicable and unintelligent statement; the kind that will come out of MAMAJAMA's mouth.

I still find it extremely difficult to discover that the statement was posted by Mckren.
I guess, it is true to never count people out!
I can repost it if you like to prove its from Mckren, it is obviously despicable because it does not reflect your interest.

FYI: If we start probing past leaders hastily IBB will be in jail before OBJ.
PoliticsRe: Iyabo Obasanjo Vs Remilekun Bakare , Traffic Offences Is Not A Criminal Crime by McKren(m): 5:34pm On Nov 16, 2007
babasin:
I know repeated traffic offenders, who go their licence revoked and taken to court.

They are no allowed to drive for two years and this was inserted into their criminal records as 'dangerous to public'

As said, they need to provide the 'official judgement' and we can see if she stands to be senator or not.
Please what section of the constitution makes driving a requirement to contest a senatorial post.
PoliticsRe: Delta State Govt Building Burnt (document Destroyed) by McKren(m): 5:28pm On Nov 16, 2007
All the giberish you type about this EFCC and Anti-Corruption issue right from when I came to Nairaland, the only connection I find in them all is your wish to have a Nigeria where their are no checks and balances. Free for all access to everybody for looting of public treasury.

You know whathuh??, IBB has tried it in the past and the idea failed. God knows why you can't learn from the mistakes of your mentor.

@bankole01

save the feable comment at the end of the article, there is nowhere obasanjo appears in the article. i wonder why you are insinuating nyarko to be one of objs oppressor because he happens to be his friend. obj's past tense now my man. move on.
I could not have said it better
PoliticsRe: Ibb Speaks Out by McKren(m): 4:40pm On Nov 16, 2007
Another characteristic withdrawal when push comes to shove

What is he afraid ofhuh?

AND FYI: A man who instituted a transition programe that he knows was heading no where and will not find a place in his heart to ask for forgiveness has no business lecturing anyone about democracy
PoliticsRe: Yet Another Knock For Obasanjo by McKren(m): 4:07pm On Nov 16, 2007
Why should it have anything to do with OBJ not Atiku

One was President and the other was Vice President
PoliticsRe: Can Efcc Probe Obasanjo? by McKren(m): 3:40pm On Nov 16, 2007
For your information I can produce a cheque bearing Almonjoy and post online for any sum I like. Atiku had checks for everyone who was against him then. When Osuntokun spoke, he had one for him. When El-Rufai spoke he had one for him. I was literarilly waiting for a check implicating Gani Fawenhinmi in the PTDF saga. That was how shrewd Garba Shehu was.

However this whole issue was investigated by the independent Senate led by Ken Nnamani. The Victor Ndoma Egba report which the Senate upheld after heated delibrations did only caution OBJ for misaapplication of funds (using funds meant for one public project to fund another public project). The Senate gave OBJ a clean bill of health and reccomended appropriate sanctions for Atiku.

So Ribadu will not imprison OBJ to please some public sentiments, their must be evidence. Telling us that his farm has transformed over the years is not evidence, neither does telling us that he was Petroleum minister for 8years evidence.
PoliticsRe: Delta State Govt Building Burnt (document Destroyed) by McKren(m): 3:26pm On Nov 16, 2007
Almondjoy
Yes, I have benefited indirectly and will not deny it like all of us have representatives in one area of this foul government all over Nigeria. Haven't we all? Including yourself? But it does not stop us from seeing what the reality of the "fight against corruption" is all about.
Thanks for your honesty, you just confirmed my doubts.
You can hold that as your view but trying to misinform southerners that Ribadu is Anti-South South is simply cheap.
PoliticsRe: Should Maurice Iwu Resign As Inec Boss? by McKren(m): 3:22pm On Nov 16, 2007
The Process of reforming our electoral process is much more complicated than just changing the INEC Boss. Iwu can go for the sake of it, afterall it is always fashionable to have a scapegoat (resignation) after a monumental failure.
However if we do no change some arears of our constitution, change election schedules, sensitize Nigerians, reform political parties and modernize some of our electoral process even Bill Clinton or Nelson Mandela can not conduct a credible election in Nigeria.

Besides that some of the reversals were based on constitutional issues rather than the election itself. Like the issue of "disqualifying a candidate". I dont understand why such a critical issue should be left in the domain of political parties and not INEC.

So tribunals calling for fresh election as a result of that is not a reversal of result and thus should be blamed more on our defective constitution rather than defective INEC.
PoliticsRe: Yet Another Knock For Obasanjo by McKren(m): 3:03pm On Nov 16, 2007
Murtala Nyako is still very much the popular candidate in Adamawa

A reason Atiku will prefer the Judiciary to Usurp the duties of INEC by pronouncing Baptel winner rather than go through re-election.

While the call for free election by the Tribunal is a demonstration of adherence to rule of law because they claimed "INEC erred in Law" by disqualifying Baptel. It has nothing to do with the popularity or otherwise of Murtala Nyako.
PoliticsRe: Delta State Govt Building Burnt (document Destroyed) by McKren(m): 2:58pm On Nov 16, 2007
If my state governor out of fear of being "selectively" mistreated by EFCC provides good roads, schools etc from the point of view of my state I will care less if any other governor in Nigeria is not being watched.

God knows that those crying foul that Ibori and Odili are being prosecuted while IBB has not been prosecuted can only be direct beneficiaries of those loots.

There is no North/South devide about this, people just come on Nairaland to play up tribal sentiments they hardly believe in just to protect private interests period!!!!!!!

Any tribalistic Governor will be the first to look after his people, so too will any relative of a Governor who is tribalistic will be the first to demand that the Governor better the lives of their people.

saintchux:
Ridadu has already told us that OBJ is not corrupt so what else are we expecting from him.
Point of correction Ribadu never said that,

FYI: That evidence available does not suggest OBJ has questions to answer is not an explicit certification that OBJ is not corrupt.

Ribadu is too smart to make the comment you stated above.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Online Scams - Efcc Still Missing The Point by McKren(m): 11:04pm On Nov 15, 2007
Well people are convicted for intention to murder,

The victims of 419 scam mails fall prey because of their intention to aid money laundary

We all know the position of international law on money laundary but what am not sure is whether intention to commit money laundary is also a crime. If it is then they should be prosecuted but if its not then that area of international law need to be strengthened.

419 is lucrative because of greed of the whiteman.

You're absolutely correct; this topic has nothing to do with EHINDERO (a common thief). We should learn how to respect one another.

PoliticsRe: Delta State Govt Building Burnt (document Destroyed) by McKren(m): 10:44pm On Nov 13, 2007
People should not push Nigerians to the wall

They should not remind Nigerians that there is a thing like brutality and arson, the essence of having a justice system is so that people feel how unnecessary it is to take laws in their hands.

If those who loot the common wealth of Nigerians begin to result to violence to evade justice, Nigerians can as well result to violence to get justice.

Terrorist attacks can as well be plotted on any property assumed to have been aquired with commonwealth of Nigerians.

Lets be civilised in everything we do, and if this is true their should be a probe on Uduaghan.
PoliticsRe: IBB To Run For President In 2011: Your Opinion by McKren(m): 8:35pm On Nov 13, 2007
BigB1

Go and ask the real politicians, OBJ is absolutely not capable of stopping IBB under any circumstance (OBJ couldn't even stop mere Atiku and you truly think he has what it takes to stop IBB; you must be crazy).
God knows your definition of real politicians, I guess Kasim Afegbua and Godwin Daboh will fall into that category.

If I remember vividly IBB stepped aside in 1993 and made a come back bid in 2007. In essence he thought about this for 14years. It is also worthy note that he went with his wife and children to pick up the PDP form and as such it was no joke.
Could you please tell Nairalanders what changed within a couple of months that he did not realise in the previous 14years before he went to pick his form.

He took time out to resgister cos of this thread on 8th November when the thread only started on 11th November. He must have anticipated there will be a thread like this.

Wow!
This statement is barbaric, brutish, and uncivilized. I have no respect for any human who has deadly wishes for another man.
This is a pure cannibalistic action and it totally contradicts the positive purpose of this forum.

You should be banned from this forum for a very long time.
In case you dont know a lot of people say that prayer everyday

And frag is not alone in that prayer

If you love IBB, simply advice him honestly on what ordinary people think than trying to bully Frag
Foreign AffairsRe: Why isn't Bush Impeached as yet? by McKren(m): 5:58pm On Nov 12, 2007
Ok agreed

The movie is not a credible reference

Back to the topic

Do you also disagree that Gorge W Bush is a waste of space as President.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why isn't Bush Impeached as yet? by McKren(m): 5:42pm On Nov 12, 2007
The truth is what you choose to bellieve

But was just making a point that citing the views of a well accomplished Business man in his movie is a more credible reference than a version of history from an unedited public  acsessed website like wikipedia.
PoliticsRe: IBB To Run For President In 2011: Your Opinion by McKren(m): 5:38pm On Nov 12, 2007
So what was the very essence asking me whether I have heard a criticism about David Mark from a man who was meant to be invisible.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why isn't Bush Impeached as yet? by McKren(m): 5:30pm On Nov 12, 2007
LOL a man who does not think a Movie by Robert Redford is credible enough to be cited in an argument is quoting wikipedia.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why isn't Bush Impeached as yet? by McKren(m): 5:27pm On Nov 12, 2007
A movie,Lion for Lambs,is your source of information?
Lets say hypotethically that it is my source of information like you want to make it look. Tell me why I should take you more seriously than Robert Redford.

Post your CV online to support your argument

davidyland@yahoo.com:
Because there are no arm chair critics and pessimistics in America has it is in Nigeria.
Nope!!!

Americans easily get carried away by "we against them scenario"

A President who has no clue whatsoever how to revive his country's dwindling economy can simply create a "we against them scenario" just to earn popularity amongst Americans. Just like Bush is trying to do with Iran instead of tackling the failing american economy.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why isn't Bush Impeached as yet? by McKren(m): 5:18pm On Nov 12, 2007
I-man:
Lawyer McKren. . . .taking the country to war on false intelligence is not an impeachable offence.Have you heard of a man called JFK?He put Americans in Vietnam which eventually cost 58,000 American lives.American soldiers were dying at the rate of 300 a week. . . . .neither he nor LBJ have attracted much criticism nor suggestion that they should have been impeached.
Well I was expecting you to tell me the false intelligence for which the Vietnam War was based on not at the rate or amount of lives lost. What makes an intelligence false is not the amount of lives lost
PoliticsRe: IBB To Run For President In 2011: Your Opinion by McKren(m): 5:07pm On Nov 12, 2007
Big B1:
If IBB has anything against you or your actions, 99% of the time, you will be the only person that knows about it.
Many people (including OBJ) became who they are today simply just because of this man.
Man don't get carried away, I don't mean this in the positive manner. (was simply quoting him)

I am simply telling you he is a coward who never takes a stance on National issues, a fact which led to the stalemate when he was leader.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why isn't Bush Impeached as yet? by McKren(m): 5:03pm On Nov 12, 2007
What can be more hideous than taking a country to war on false intelligence

Perhaps it is not a big enough offence because those dieing in Iraq are mostly the children of those who have no say in the future of America.

Has any Senator lost his son or daughter in Iraqhuhhuh?

Watch out for the movie Lions for Lambs, and see the true picture.
PoliticsRe: IBB To Run For President In 2011: Your Opinion by McKren(m): 4:49pm On Nov 12, 2007
IBB has not said anything negative about anybody, he has private channels of communication with everybody.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Says: Adedibu Is The Father Of Pdp by McKren(m): 4:47pm On Nov 12, 2007
Comments like these are part of the problems of Nigeria

And you can not under-estimate it.

While I admire OBJ's govt, I think at this point in time OBJ should be appologising to Nigerians on his choice of politics in Oyo and Anambra.
And if he keeps on making comments like these he is simply arming the IBB camp in the so called IBB vs OBJ war on the politics of PDP.

And Mamajama the Nigerian media is not only unreliable when they report News that you dont want to hear.
God knows whether you expect BBC to report that OBJ thinks "Adedibu is father of PDP"
