The word Utopia is conceptual.

Nigeria don't use them now not because of their pollution, but because Nigeria destroyed them like everything else. If pollution is in the dictionary of policy in Nigeria, each household will not own and run a generator on fossil fuel in this present age. The pollution by one of those Loco trains in not up to what generators produce on a street in lagos, let alone vehicles that have failed emission tests even before they were sold into nigeria.
Do not compare any European state (even the poorest among them) with Nigeria in terms of standard of living you hear!
