bastardson:No one here can assure you of securing TRV but we can advise you on what we think might increase your chances of securing it. Yes your uncle or anyone can sponsor you. As for your statement of account, yes you should include it since you are working and gave a family. Since you have some cash on your own already, let your uncle be a co-sponsor and you be the main(especially if it is a one year program). You can apply alone and use your wife and kid(s) as hometie. |

Adetayoade1:Company sponsorship hardly flies except the company is a very big one(shell, chevron.....) or has a good relationship with CIC in the past(by sponsoring other students and CIC is fully aware of it). I doubt if your dad's company falls I to those two options (I mean no disrespect). Your dad is free to submit the company's SOA, but he should also(very very important) submit his own(CIC doesn't expect him to use money meant to run his company on your education). He should make sure he has more than what he intend to commit towards your studies in his personal bank account or better still pay your tuition fee and show that your living expenses is available in his account pending when you are about to leave for Canada ( but make sure you check your school's refund policy before paying any fee). Submitting his company's SOA (with enough fund to run the business and also take care of your fees) will erase any doubt on the vo's mind concerning your funds. Good luck |

Simplymeeko:His transcript is just his report card(list of subjects he took and the grades he got from jss1-ss2). Let him go to those schools and ask them for it (they should still have his record), if they don't then let them give him a letter to that effect. Another option is to include his waec results checking card |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 8:57pm On Feb 12, 2020 |
Simplymeeko:They are asking for your transcript, it has to be sent by your previous institution (not by you). But if you think they won't send it on time you can plead with them to seal it and give you to send via any of the courier service companies around you (but make sure you put the name of sender as your previous school). NB: Have you asked your previous school(s) to send your transcript to them? 1 Like |

Simplymeeko:I don't know how much your tuition fee is, but CAD1000(from a 3rd party) might not be enough to convince a vo. Living expenses is at least CAD10,000, so do the math by adding the balance of your tuition fee to the living expenses of CAD10k. Your sponsor needs to show more commitment so you don't raise any doubt in the mind of the vo |

Onweke:So your sponsor will cover living expenses(CAD 10,000) or you have that aside? |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 2:36pm On Feb 12, 2020 |
Onweke:The 5 million will be for what and what? Explain to us what you intend to cover with that amount. Is the sponsor giving you the whole 5 million or what is the plan? N.B: You can't pay your tuition and living expenses by just showing your lands/properties |

Simplymeeko:How much of that 20mil is the person giving you for your tuition fee and living expenses? That will determine if it will fly or not |

sneagolben:A lot of people have done it and gotten it. As long as you are a legal resident of that country (studying or working) you are legible to apply from there(not minding where the SOA is coming from). All you need do is show hometie (there or in Nigeria) and also explain how you have been of good character and kept the laws during your stay in the said country (tell the vo if you can do that in Dubai, you can also do same in Canada). If possible get a police report from UAE(since you have been there for the past 6 months and live there). 1 Like |

Adanna93:Sorry to say, but this is between you and your previous schools. Go to your previous schools and discuss with those in charge on how to go about it(some schools charge you for one transcript then you pay courier fee to additional schools) , so ask from your previous schools. No one here can give you a definite answer on that |

Your profile looks okay, so I think ordering for your gcms note will help give you an idea of what the vo thinks about your application. You can order for it now if you want, so you get it on time to repackage another application. Good luck 1 Like |

Bayoerubami:Personally I would advise you get your gcms note to know the exact reason behind the denial. That said, I also think your sponsor showing commitment will go a long way to helping your case. Those two steps + a good SOP should do |

Adetayoade1:Normally you are supposed to show funds for at least the first year of your program, so if your sponsor is bringing 10k or whatever amount he/she should clearly state it in the letter of support (not just by saying "I will sponsor and cover all expenses related to his study while in Canada". He should be specific |

Barseat:It is normal for CIC to do a background check after passport request, so nothing to worry about (if your bank statement and other submitted documents are okay). They will surely send your stamped passport to you soon. |

Derby33:If you add up the tuition and living expenses you will have around 7-8M, so 11M should be enough for you (especially if you don't have any dependant). Getting a co-sponsor will only increase your financial strength, but since you have more than enough to cover everything it won't be necessary. 1 Like |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 2:56pm On Feb 02, 2020 |
Derby33:If the 11M will cover your tuition and living expenses for the entire program then you are good to go, but if not you need a co-sponsor to support you. What is your tuition fee and duration of the said program? |

Jetline:Don't bother, the clinic will send the result to CIC after some days(most likely after 4-5 days). But if you must, you can just send the medical receipt via email to CIC stating your application details. congratulations 1 Like |
