My people how una dey....Longest time. I'm indeed very sorry for being MIA.

I have been superbusy at work lately and a lot of have happened in the past few weeks, my visa application delay being one of them. I give thanks to God. I didn't learn my lesson from my previous refusal apparently . I took a calculated risk in using a program that is not directly related or consistent with my previous study to apply for trv. Despite the patent inconsistency. Before I applied for visa, i was given an offer of admission for a program that is directly related to my previous study but because of fees and no hope of funding from the program, I opted for another program that is cheaper but not directly related to my previous study. I knew the risk, yet I took it. It was plain stupidity but I learnt my lesson. Although I managed to convince myself that the two programs are connected, however, it appears the VO does not share my view as enshrined and contained in my sop hence purpose of visit. This does not in any way undermine the importance of an sop. After I submitted my application, It became dawn on me that I messed up, I should have applied with the LLM program notwithstanding the fee. More importantly since a colleague of mine was earlier refused because of the same program. So it is fair to say that I kinda saw it coming

Now I have learnt my lesson.....never take risk whether calculated or not, the VO may not understand the formula you used in arriving at the conclusion when it comes to Canadian Study permit application.

I have moved on sha ......EE is the new deal for me.

To all those whose applications have been approved, I congratulate and celebrate you. Particularly my brother from another womb osemigho, God bless you abundantly my dear friend. This is the beginning of new achievements and success to come. I'm really proud of you baba. .

New member. Silent reader since May just before submission. Need the help of the gurus, wealth360, thesoj, yemdogg, and any other kind-hearted soul who can be of help.
Just saw my status delayed.
Brief profile below
Had 3 admissions, uregina for Masters in HRM, UNBC for MBA and Vancouver Island uni for dual MSc and MBA...I chose UREGINA FOR mhrm which is closest to what I want and do

Applied for visiting in March with my hub without LOE cos we wanted to do a quick scout of Canada. Was rejected

So applied for my student visa this time with SOP sample I got from the forum and mentioned former rejection to Canada and US of long ago.

I have current visa to US, (am a bit widely traveled so old passports and visas included) about 4m in the Naira account with 10m educational insurance and lots of landed docs

The only reason for refusal ticked is purpose of travel...

I think I shouldn't have added my 5 year old to the application ( He's Nigerian) despite all the letters from his school and the other siblings schools
The other two siblings don't need immediate visas ( America and irish)
And I think my SOP was not tight enough

My questions are

1. Can I still meet the Sept batch if I apply again..this time I will do online. I don taya for paper route and it's attendant stress
2. Can I reapply immediately without them raising an eyelid..what's the best time lag to give
3. Can the SOP gurus ps kindly look at my old SOP and advise where I went wrong...


I really don't want to do 30- 40 days waiting for gcms note because of reasons above... I can still order though if so necessary
. It's obvious my chances would be increased if I apply alone...

I forgot to add. Accounting graduate with 8 years of HR experience. I run my own HR consulting firm, I have 3 international certifications in HR and one from Lagos business school

1. Yes u can still meet up with September but I still feel it will be better if u request for ur file to get the real reason behind the refusal. it will be nice if u can defer all 3 admissions till January while u repackage.
2. There's no issue with u reapplying again now but I still advise u take my above option (defer all 3 admissions till January then request for ur file).
3. A good SOP can do it for u since u have 8 years experience in ur proposed field of study.

That's absolutely not true. it's a new application so u will submit everything from scratch, Infact u can add any new documents u think will boost ur chances this time. NB: it is only if u did medical in ur last application and it hasn't expired, cos it takes 1 year for a medical to expire

Am so so sorry about that bro, pls share ur profile so we can have a little idea on what might have happened but your GCMS note will explain better. Pls try and defer ur admission to the next available session for ur course while u wait for ur note. Sorry once again

1. ensure ur uncle pays ur tuition fee and so pay the money for ur upkeep into ur account. also try and include ur soa this time.
2.travel history is not really a problem cos u will be surprise what u will see when u order for ur file.
3. how related is ur previous program, ur current job and ur proposed program? knowing all these will help cos there has to be a link

Good morning house. If I won't exaggerate, I think I have sent more than 200 emails to prospective supervisors. Only one of them recently gave me green light. He told me that he would be glad to supervise me if I got funding from Nigeria. He told me that he's expecting a graduate student from Nigeria, with Nigerian funding, for the forthcoming fall.
Gurus in the house, what funding is available for Nigerian student to study in Canada? I hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with 87% GPA. Thank you for your anticipated contributions.

Bro I think u will have to fund urself, check the tuition fee and see if u can pay urself if not u can try other schools. I am not aware of any ongoing scholarship program here in Nigeria now

pls apply alone first and immediately u get urs u can apply for them, even if u must add anybody it should be ur 9 months old child not ur husband. just tell the vo ur 9 month old child is too young for u to leave him/her back then also try to explain that u intend getting a nanny that will be looking after ur 9 month old baby whenever u have lectures. Pls and pls don't apply with ur husband, biko!

I want to submit my study permit application this week but I was refused visa to the Uk in 2015 but I have actually gotten several visas to the Uk before then and I just stated that I was refused in 2015 in my application. Do i need to also state reasons why? Or Just saying I was refused in 2015 is fine? Also please is there anyone that can proof-read my sop.

state the reasons u were denied, it won't affect ur present trv application in anyway. make sure u scan all the pages of the visas u have gotten in the past to show u have been traveling to uk (that's if u are going via online route)

if he wants to do upfront medical then let him go to Children's practice clinic but if it's based on cic request let him go to IOM
