kunsky3: To the gurus In the house kindly advise I am about to submit my application but with little concern. I was refused US visitor visa in year 2008 and I can't recal the reason for refusal hence I do not have details..Is it necessary to state this long time refusal and if yes ..how should I go with the details. Thanks no matter what u do make sure u state it that u have been denied USA visa b4, refuse to do that art ur own peril. I can't say on the part of u not remembering the reason(s) why u were denied but maybe gurus in the house can talk about that |

mostblackroad: Some people say it takes days for their biometric letter to come through. are u asking about when biometric request is made or how long it takes to do biometric when u get to vfs? if it's the first question then the time varies but as for the second question it doesn't take more than 30mins since u have already done most of the work by applying online |

phemmzy96: Gud evening everyone! Am new here. I av some enquiries to make concerning Canada student visa. # I want to know if anyone can stand as a sponsor for me. # Wat is required of a sponsor? anyone? pls tey and be specific and direct with ur question. but anyone that wants to sponsor u must state his/her reason for wanting to do that and the visa officer must be convinced. another way to convince the visa officer is b for the "anyone" to pay ur tuition fee and also send ur living expenses ( atleast $cad10,000) into ur naija bank akant |

CanadianNurse: Very quick question house and gurus My full first year tuition is $15,780 CAD which was what I filled in the funds transfer form in my bank from here in Nigeria....
After much much the school sent me RECEIPT quoting that amount received was $15,551 CAD which approximately remains $300 CAD to complete for the whole year fees quoted in my LOA probably because of the exchange rate or a few factors
MY QUESTION : Can I use this submit this receipt as evidence of payment of tuition fee for the first year?
Hope I have not misrepresented anything sha?
Cc: @austinepee4 @maziude @yemdogg @nelly28 @mcobex u can use the receipt from the school and also use the copy of the form A (teller ) u use to make the payment . I have same issue and that's what I intend doing. |

Universities: Good morning everybody.
My name is James.
That being said, I'm 34 years and married with the intention of going for my PhD in Canada next year.
However, will my age stand as a factor in giving visa as i learnt Canadians do put AGE as a criteria in giving out visas?
Secondly. I have published two books on website design and development including using open source (WordPress). What are the criteria for admitting students?
God bless you all. bro u don't have any issue concerning ur age. as for the criteria for ur program pls contact ur intended school for that |

mesh2003: I can only comment on your 2nd question. There are jobs in every country including Nigeria. You have to prove that you are the most qualified and the best candidate each time you apply for a job. The truth is that each hiring manager is different. I finished in December, moved to Vancouver on January 15th and by the 18th I had a job offer letter. I did a PGD in global business management also. I still have friends that did masters but have not found a good full time job. So my dear, it all depends on what you are looking for after school. In the cause of my job search, I hardly saw any job Ad that asked for a Masters degree. If you have previous work experience from Nigeria, it helps a lot. The course I did gave me an opportunity of doing a 4 months internship which helped me secure the job I have today. So my dear, the job prospects are level. Most people use their previous experience to secure jobs here and not even PGD or masters qualification. Nice one sis, keep making us proud b4 we join u over there |

Aguila: Thanks am still searching for a school that will accept for January intake the September intake seem too close considering the 14 weeks too. ok, try and get the admission first then. but b3 mindful of the tuition fee of ur intended program b4 applying. ur sponsor must have ur tuiton fee in his account(or better still let him pay for ur tuition b4 u apply for trv) and he will have to pay ur living expenses ( $10000) into ur account, so be very mindful of the cost of everything b4 embarking on the journey (I mean b4 picking a school and program). |

Letter oF Explanation..... Is it restricted to applicants only? Or sponsor can use it as well... If there be any explanations to make?? ur sponsor needs to write a letter of support. who is ur sponsor to u? Cos in some cases he/she might have to include an affidavit to the letter of support |
