segzyndpep: The truth is that i will raise the money before may which is the resumption. But i have to pay the first semester feb14 latest. That is the issue sir.I might have to defer though. It will be safe to defer till you raise the money (since your school allows you to defer), you won't regret it. Good luck |

JustMellow: Hello Segzyndpep,
It would be advisable not to bother putting in an application. If you succeed in paying your first semester tuition fees, then how would you be able to convince the VO of being able to pay for your second semester fees with 300k with any impression of working by the VO.
The best you could do is to get a sponsor or improve on your funds that would be sufficient to cover your tuition cost and LE.
All the best. Kudos bro |

Anon123: A week is too sudden but a month or two is better The duration isn't that important in this case as long as the applicant and sponsor explain it in their SOP and letter of support/sponsorship. The issue I have here is that the applicant just want someone to out money in his account then after printing the statement he will return the money back to the owner (which is like trying to trick CIC to believing he has enough fund to cover his study). |

Adetayoade1: Cc Please Naijaforeigner , Qudkom, obehi44 Justmellow The best proof you need is for the sponsor to pay your tuition fee and also transfer your living expenses into your personal bank account (since he is a 3rd party). Any other thing apart from this will not be convincing enough |

segzyndpep: Thank you so much sir,Please what if someone sent money that can cover living expense and tuition to my account and i let it stay for a week before printing. Can it pass?Just thinking.I am an interior designee so i get contract most times so thinking any money that enter this Month i might let it stay for sometime before i transfer it. So what happens when it is time to pay the other part of your tuition fee? It is not advisable to do that except if the person genuinely gives you the money to pay for your fees and not just to put in account and then removed |

talk2tonie: Hello bro, I got a medical request on 13th Jan 2020. All slot is booked till late February for qlife. So confused now since I have just 30 days for the same. Any idea what I can do at this point? Look for someone that as booked a date already but won't go for his or has not been asked to go for medical so you can swap with them. I think there's a guy that wanted to even cancel his appointment last week, try to search for the guy from previous pages cos I can't remember his name. Another option is for you to walk to the clinic with your medical request (go as early as possible....even before they open for service) and plead with them to assist you cos you don't have time . Good luck and congratulations |

NwanyiOkpa: i don't trust google info these days. I just need from people that have applied.
Thanks. You don't trust goggle? Google will give you links to schools and once you visit the school's website you will get all information concerning their tuition fee and other fees to be paid. You also need to know the tuition might depend on your intended course, so use Google to narrow your search for schools offering your intended program then go to each school to see what they are offering to make your pick |

segzyndpep: Good day house,i got admitted to study project management in conestoga college. The programme is for a session(1 year) and i am suppose to pay for a semester by February.I have the fund for the first semester but thats all i have. is it advisable i apply like that or i should defer as i am sponsoring myself.I have been trying to raise money but couldnt,my inflow and out flow in my company account is okay for past 6month but if i pay the first semester fee i will only have 300k left. I dont know what to do! Let me tell you the truth, might be hard to take but that's the gospel truth. You have to wait until you know you are financially capable of covering your tuition and living expenses before you start the process. For now, defer your admission and hustle for the rest of the money or get a sponsor (someone that can give you the other part of the money as loan or gift). |

Luwaluwa: What i'm asking is that, could the medicals be done ,so that once they request for it ,i can present it immediately so as not to waste more time? Yes it can be done, but you won't be the one to send it to CIC. Once the clinic/hospital carry out the test they will send it to CIC within days. You didn't answer the question if the post you replied to was referring to you, because if it is then I am afraid a decision has been reached by CIC and they will get back to you within 7 days , so you can just be patient to see/hear the outcome of their decision. Let me not say more than this |

isangjohnson: Better still, should I ask my wife to forget about the our two kids and get her admission first before thinking of coming back to carry them? I personally do not have any interest in joining them now as I'm fully engaged with my job here in Nigeria. Please I'll still like to know the estimate of house rent and living expenses including school fees for Masters Program in an average school. For tuition fee and other expenses, I think a simple Google search will do justice to your questions. As tuition fee varies with school and intended course. Visit the schools sites to know how much their tuition fee is and for living expenses she needs at least $10,000/year for herself alone(check CIC site for more details) Now back to the main issue, if your children wants to go with your wife then you have to provide/show funds for their upkeep (should be around $4000/year if I am not mistaken, but also check CIC site for more accurate info). I will advise she applies alone for now while she uses you and the kids as very good hometie(a good reason to go back to Nigeria after her studies), then if she still wants them to join her she can apply for them after her visa has been secured. Good luck |

Luwaluwa: Please, with the delay in response from CIC, can I Just do medicals before they respond ,in order not to waste time again when they respond? If @Obehi44's post was referring to you then don't go for medical yet until you get a feedback from CIC. That said, the fact you go for medical before CIC asked for it has no effect on your app(if it will approved or not), so be patient for now (except if you have some money that is just sitting idle in your account and don't know what to do with it......just kidding). Be patient for now |

rogbalekan: Good morning family,
Just got MSc admission and need to tackle POF for visa application, I got a senior friend in Canada who is willing to support. Therefore, I would like to know how do I show how the money was got considering it will be a lump sum from not a close relative.
Pls house what do you suggest I do to perfect this? As long as you and your sponsor explain it in your SOP and letter of support respectively, you won't have any issue. Let him state why he intends to support you as well. Good luck |

oyinlove15: Please someone should kindly help me with an answer.
Also please does anyone know about block account for Canada that I can put my remaining school fees pending the time of payment.
Thanks I will appreciate a response It doesn't matter how long the money stays in your account as long as it it well explained in your SOP and the letter of support from your sponsor. As for the reasons of your denial, have you ordered for your gcms note just to be sure of what the vo thinks about your previous app? If not, then I will advise you don't rush to reapply, so you can order for it so as to have a watertight reapplication. The choice is yours, but I always advise you get your gcms note before any reapplication, so you don't just jump in blindly. Except if you think you didn't do enough in your first application as regards funds. Good luck |

Both my transcript and my couriered degree cert+TOEFL. Patience is all you need now. You can send an email to the school telling them you have sent all requested documents to them and has been delivered. Hopefully they will update your profile soon |

NwanyiOkpa: Good morning,
Has anyone processed the application for Memorial University of Newfoundland?
I am a bit worried.
I have sent the following documents;
1. Official transcript from my institution - Not showing as received yet 2. TOEFL result and Degree certificate (Sent via courier)- Not showing as "received" on my dashboard 3. Both recommendations from my referees have been submitted- Showing as "received"
Please, is there anything i missed? If you have submitted all the documents asked by the school then you just have to be patient and pray you get accepted for the applied program. Also, schools have deadlines for admission and they will start sending out offer letters after the deadline. Check the school's website to know everything about their admission processing timeframe. Good luck |

Reason for picking Graduate Diploma is, its much cheaper and am on a very tight budget. I need help . Thanks . You can secure trv with PGD offer, but need to convince the vo why you are going for that instead of masters (try to give the advantages of PGD to masters and you should be good to go). Don't tell the vo you picked PGD cos it is cheaper |

Justmellow Naijaforeigner It depends. How much is your tuition fee? What is her plan to pay the balance of it and also raise your living expenses within this period? Since she is your sole sponsor she needs to show that your tuition fee and living expenses are on ground before you apply for visa. |

MizTyna: Hello everyone!
I have decided on Lambton college for a two year course (Advanced photography). I'm a photographer with enough experience and portfolio. Do I need to apply to more than one school? Because someone told me I'll stand a better chance at the Canadian embassy if I apply to more than one school.
I'm looking at September 2020, is that adequate time to apply and get visa? I will start my school application next week and apply for visa immediately if I get it. So latest February 2020, I'll start the visa processing
P.S: It's a post graduate course and I have a BSc Applying to more than one school has no effect on your visa as you can only apply for visa with ONE offer letter. Applying to more than one school only increases your chances of securing admission as it is possible to be offered more than one offer and with that you can pick which is best for you(financially and otherwise). You should check the schools' websites to know those still offering admission for September. Good luck |

librangyps: Hi Frank, I must say you are doing a very good job.
The issue of proof of fund
The issue of my bank statement have been bugging cos I dont have plenty millions to declare. I will like to use my hubbs bank statement as sponsor, and four months pay slip from my job average monthly of say 170k.
Also two hubbs companies with cac where I'm one of the directors .
I dont want to include my bank statement at all cos I will like to add what I have saved up to my hubbs balance and use his alone.
Maybe pay one year tuition from hubbs account.
Receipts from his importation business as proof of business transactions.
Personal account balance of 10m
My tuition is roughly 1.5m a year
MUN MBA.
What do you think?
Is it too scanty.
For home ties I'm married with kids and a member of a professional accounting body.
Also my admission is against fall next year. Is February too early to apply.
Thank you so much Frank.
I'm an ardent Fan and reader of all your posts, Justwise and the rest of the house, you are all doing a wonderful job. It is better to include your own SOA since you are working (no matter how small the amount). Submit your s and that of your husband (sponsor). |
