westgermany: thanks, her tuition is about 8,000canadia dollar.pls don't mind me am a bit confused that's why am thinking in the direction of placing my organization to sponsor her since their account runs in million and am sure to some extent that they would help me with every necessary documents I may require from account statement to refrence letter...
Another question I will like to ask is that is it compulsory for applicant to pay tution fee before applying for visa? ......seriously company sponsorship should be out of it as it might require the company paying her tuition fee (which we both know they won't pay), so to play safe is to convince ur boss to act as her sponsor and instead of him paying her tuition fee he can pay the said amount to her bank account while u show ur own commitment by paying her tuition fee (though this isn't compulsory) |

Another question I will like to ask is that is it compulsory for applicant to pay tution fee before applying for visa? it's not compulsory to pay tuition before applying but it gives the vo the assurance that u are capable (especially if it's a 3rd party that's paying the tuition). for the funds required it will be atleast cad18k (8k for tuition + cad10k living expenses ) and that's about #4.3mil (1cad=#240).... so in all u will need atleast #4mil for everything. u can ask ur boss to act as ur wife's sponsor or co-sponsor so as to reduce the financial load on u (since ur closing balance is #3mil) but he will have to give reasons why he wants to sponsor her (since they aren't related ) |

westgermany: Hello great people of the house ,I have been given an admission offer but my problem now is that my supposed sponsor is acting up the scenario looks like he is not ready to help.... My question now is if am to act as sponsor for my wife my closing balance is just about 3million can I go ahead with dat amount ?or I also have the opportunity of pleading with my boss at work to fill my wife in as part of thier workers and act as her sponsor would it work that way? how much is her tuition fee? it will be better of u can convince ur boss to act as her sponsor while u act as co-sponsor, but he shouldn't use the company's name or account to sponsor her as that will need a very convincing letter of support from the company stating why they want to spend so much on ur wife (who is their staff ) and what will be the company's benefits when she graduates. try and convince him to act as her sponsor or better still pay some of the cash into her account to show commitment while u pay her tuition fee from ur account . that's what I think sha. gurus in the house, over to u |

During the past five years have you or any family member accompanying you lived in any country than your country of citizenship or permanent residence for more than six months? the question is clear bro, if u have been schooling in the country u are bow for more than six months then ur answer should be "yes" but if it's below six month then it's "No" |

westgermany: thank you so much ,but considering the the time when her class starts which is September will u advice I go with the online registration as I have not even started atall cos my sponsors traveled and would be back next week...another issue is my wife's certificate bears na family name, but her passport bear's my name .would that not be an issue when applying for visa ? Warm Regards... just like I said both routes are ok, but if the documents u want to submit are much it's less streefyl to use paper route. I am to resume in September as well and I am yet to apply . aspa her name on her credentials that's not an issue cos I want to believe she got married after school, so ur wedding certificate will clear that part. |

THANKS.... the documents to submit depend on what and what u have and u feel will enhance ur chances in getting the trv. check cic site to get the supporting documents to submit + cic forms. u and ur child staying back first is a good idea(both of u will be her hometie). as for the route, online application is good if u don't have much documents to submit but if u have a lot supporting documents then I prefer u go via the paper route . hope I was able to answer ur questions? gurus I'm the house should explain better |

NB: ur friend will also have to State reason why he wants to spend millions on u |

galileeteo: I graduated from secondary school far back 2008, I then venture into business. Now I wish to study in one the colleges in canada for 2yrs to enable me live and work legally in canada. Please will it possible for me considering the gap in my education and my age 27yes? And please I can only afford 1yr fee , will I be able to work and pay for the 2nd yr ? Am also married with one kid and I wil also want my family to join me perhaps after studying for 2yrs . please I need you guys advice. I don't want to continue with business in nigeria again. though 2008 is a long time but is ur intended course in line with ur previous course? Cos the only way u stand a chance is if both are in line , as for the gap I think u will really need to convince the vo why u left for that long and why are u suddenly interested in it again. as regards ur wife and children u don't really need their international passport (since u say they don't have for now ) but make sure u include ur marriage certificate and ur child's birth certificate. I can't say about u raising ur 2nd tuition fee while working part time in Canada cos I haven't been there before but to be candid it will be a bigger risk if that's ur plan. Pls gurus in the house should help out here |

Sugaro: PLS TREAT AS URGENT GURUS!! Thank you for your responses. Gurus I hail una. am going for Postgraduate Diploma that is running for 2yrs in Canada . My father and my husband are my sponsors. We have saved up 4m in my account over time and my dad has a balance of 5m in his account.(business account) Am thinking of transferring the 4m into my hubby's salary account (which is empty as we have been saving with my personal account) and fixing it there, get my tuition fee paid for one year and submitting SOAs. 1..WILL presenting my hubby's account with d money recently fixed, pose a problem? 2..I have also thought in the line of converting my account to joint account with my hubby instead of moving the money buh my worry is the impression it may leave on d VO, since the joint iss is going to be recent. N/b: I am applying in less than 10days why move the money into ur husband's account when it will be better off in ur account? I think it will be good if u leave it in ur own account (so the vo don't use personal asset as one of the reasons for refusal ). apart from ur hubby's salary account does he have any other account? if yes and he has some cash in it u can use it + ur dad's + urs. |

napoleonsmart: Hello house
Repect to all the gurus! A friend just finished Secondary School
Something is bothering him as he tries to gather documents and submit to vfs in person.
He has Finished Secondary School and he is planning to submit print out of his GCE result to VFS since the original certificate certificate of the O'level result he intends to use ( Nov/Dec GCE 2016) would only be out by December this year.
Would VFS accept the online print out from him and moreover would Canadian Embassy work with this while they process the application?
He has secured unconditional admission already in a polytechnic.
Many Thanks for your advise Yes he can use his print out result. |

Vivianscott: Good evening everyone, I have been a silent follower on this thread, wishing that one day I will be opportuned to write here. I have an offer to study pre nursing at the Brandon University comes this September. My first degree is Education Chemistry but my result was not that wonderful, I had 2.2 but with 2.6 cgp, it was the school that advised me, instead of my application fee to waste that I should chose an undergraduate course of my choice. I want to start my visa application but my question is, how do I convince them, knowing that my first degree and this nursing did not relate? Can you guys I mean the guru's to help and guide me on how to package this. Also, my sponsor will be my brother. Thanking you all when did you graduate? just like u said it will be hard to convince the vo but nothing is impossible with a good sop. maybe the gurus in the house can help on how to go about your sop |
