@luvmijeje thanks for the update on Hon.kako. I didn't register in lagos so I couldn't vote him, I was shocked when I came home for the hols and found out that he de camped. For a man who has given so much to the community I wonder what else is expected from him. I hope he wins.

I lost my interest in the article, when she described nigeria(lagos) as a city filled with skyscrapers that are dark at night, I believe she has night blindness. A foreigner who hasn't been on the shores of naija can say this and I will pass with the thought that (s)he is suffering from Chimamandas' Single story. The island where all these mammoth buildings are located is a sight to behold at night. We should start giving out glasses at the international wing of the MMA.

I met him in my year 1..i was packing into my new lodge(off campus) and he was packing into same lodge in a room opposite mine..he was in 300l then, said he wanted somewhere closer to school hence the change of lodge. ..

We became friends (neighbour things ), he told me stuffs about the school, advised me including making good grades, attending lectures, staying off guys, et al.. Talked me into getting a library card and would ask me if I went to the library each time I came back from school...we really became so close, attended morning mass and other church gatherings together (catholics will understand), I could borrow anything from him including beverages, food stuffs etc likewise him. whenever he had food, I wouldn't bother cooking but would simply eat from his, likewise him. he would flash me in the night to get up and read, we sometimes did night calls just to keep sleep off our eyes..During exams, whoever didn't have an exam for that day did the cooking... I can go on and on, we were the best to each other..he was good to me and I was nice to him.. People thought we were related but when they found out the truth, they strted spying on us..

All these while, nothing happened between us(it's hard to believe right? but sincerely nothing did), I never passed the night in his room though stayed late sometimes watching movies or gisting while his door was open....

He finally asked me out in his final year and that was the beginning of our romantic relationship .. I actually knew he had interest in me because of his attitude when other guys pestered me....

Anyway, it's 6yrs now and we are engaged.. he has taken the first step of seeing my parents and we are tying the nut come April. ...

Asked him why he kept disturbing me about studies during my early years in the Uni, he said "he wanted to build his world"...Yeah, we both graduated with excellent grades...

I will catch a bullet anyday for him.. His happiness is my priority. . He's my first and only love
He always says "we will teach the world the meaning of true love"..

I pray God always not to let this seed of love in us die but rather get better with time. .. I love you till death sweetheart

Yeah, true love still exists. . ... sorry for the long epistle

Congrats Marvee, my own love story is a prototype of yours with a little modification.. Please send us an invite come April. We would love to come.

All the same, great work. It is in the Shell 2015 almanac. Saw it first on Linkedin, was very busy so couldn't read much about it.

Which of the cars did you see, Tuketuke was their first try at producing something as a group and they had a deadline to meet in short notice and where it lacked in aesthetics it thrived in creativeness.. It can only be started by the drivers finger print, the gears are changed with buttons and the lights can go on and off by claps.. The Eco cruise is way better though and it won the award for the best design at the Last Shell Eco marathon( Sub- saharan Africa).

Oh Jenny, Jenny is in charge of the interior design of the car.. The seats the floor etc... Lool you don't have to be an academia to be part of the team.. If you know how to use your machine tools well.. Woola!!

Pls can you explain better . My cv is in words . For my certificate I ve primary , secondary and hnd . Only one provision was made to attach this 3 document unlike others that ve separate provision. I tried making new folder for the 3 and sending as zip document yet was rejected.

Then upload ur recent cert (HND) and since your CV is in words it should be in .doc or .docx depending on the Microsoft word used. Have a nice day

Faculty of engineering, Uniben already has an automobile design and fabrication group sponsored by shell JV.. I will try and pass the information to them that is if they have not gotten it already. They have successfully created the Eco -tuketuke and Eco cruise.

lmao! Did you read the description of the thread of the year award at all? Come on! And why would you use World footballer of the year as a comparison? Football season begins around August/September, so there'll definitely be an overlap. I'm sorry, your analysis is way off target!

my comparism with the fifa award was because you stated the fact that the nlng thread was created in 2013.. I am saying that the 1 year period under review doesnt necessarily means it has to be from january opined with the fact that we lost 6 months of data... So the start date could have been october, november and december

if you were not aware of a thread that was pinned to the first page of this board then i wonder how often you visit here.. I voted NLNG thread because it was the crux of my being on here, i learnt a lot from that thread and met great minds.. The award was tagged JSA 2014 didnt necessarily means the start date is jan 1 2014.. The 2014 fifa world player of the year award set to be given out tomorrow puts into consideration events that happened between oct 2013 and oct 2014.. You should ask yourself when last the JSA award took place.. I am sorry to tell you but IMO your thread is not worth to be in the first 3 in the months in review..
@ mixty when you make suggestions like this kindly state them as your opinion and avoid the use of words like "ludicrous", is that the best you can come up with to encourage people that took out time to put two and two together? Because you think something is not right doesnt mean it is not right.. We joblanders are not zombies and a little fun from all the interview preps wont kill us.. Happy sunday all
