PrinceofParis: Good points for a technical audience, what if your audience studied Adult education or Human resource Management.huh.... In situations like this your terms should start with lame mans lingua before going technical.
First things first, Safety-safety-safety...saftey first which is why I commend your 'Environmental factors include luminance, ventilation e.t.c other factors are good communication, walkable pathways et al'

majekdom2: not everyone in ur team is gonna be a production engineer. you would have art and management team members . what you got to consider is basic factors of production.
thats the more reason its called a team, i state the engineering factors, the accountant in the team states the cost implications etc we then strike out unnecessary information and make a concrete report

Partitioning the outline of the walls for a building has to do with plant layout, so the best thing is to list out layout problems and correct them in relation to an auto shop.. Environmental factors include luminance, ventilation e.t.c other factors are good communication, walkable pathways et all.. You can also input Gestalts law of similarity and proximity in which machines that have similar functions be kept close to each other...more to follow

Mastersplinter: I'd favour ur disposition about locating the student restaurant in unilag but however I have something diff In Mind for the working class restaurant. I'd go for locating that one in Abuja because profitability is the overall aim of business and we all know that the disposable income in Abuja is higher than other states. What this means is than an average worker in Abuja has more to spend or is more comfortable with spending than an average worker in lagos which explains why they can cope in such expensive city. My point is the restaurant would be more profitable if located in Abuja. Also there exists the advantage of relative monopoly. I say relative because Lagos is a commercial hub and there are bound to be more restaurants per square mile than Abuja where such things are not everywhere as compared to lagos. I know this to be true as I Have lived in both cities. Forgive me if I fall short in creative writing when compared to the Likes Of savant, dplacement and the Rest. Na afternoon school I go.
I think i will stick with servant on this, although he didnt state the advantages of having the two restaurants in the same state... One of which includes reducing expenses by building a common ware house for the two restaurants for storage of foodstuffs and other materials would also reduce labour costs by having just one group of maintenance personnel for the two centres since there is proximity between yaba and the island.

otega88: Meaning?
Mathematically?(Greater than) and you studied production engineering in my school?,..wow... Then I guess you have a lot to learn in such a short time bro. U said you are a recent graduate awaiting NYSC posting? If true, be calm, listen, learn and You will make it....... Many people you see here are pretty young(maybe younger than you), smart, with MSc and already working with very good companies in the oil and gas industry, they want more that's why they are job hunting. These are the people you will be competing with when you finish your NYSC with your production Engineering degree. Improve on yourself and place less emphasis on your course of study and your University, or even your 2.1, because many are out there with first class in mechanical engineering UK schools and 3-5 years experience vying for the same job you are applying for!...work on yourself and be ready to be at your best. God bless your efforts
thanks... That post was just me being cocky tho...

autumnflower: With the kind of reasoning i i see here its a shame how bigotry has eating up the nigerian youth, how can we mobe foward with this kind of thinking? So borno has been degraded to the point that you believe they can not produce candidates as good as lagos? Why hating on a group of people, instead why dont you go work on how to edge out those fro your state instead of blaming your failure on somthing else.
Past results have shown that the northerners do not perform up to their yoruba and igbo counterparts...

cutiedave: wow,dis sounds nice.bt i need ur advice on dis issue.
i got admitted into yabatech last yr to study mech.eng bt couldn't resume bcus of d poly strike. Bt during d course of d stike,i obtained d jamb form to study mech.eng in unilorin.recently i had to change to mathematics bcus i dident meet mech.eng cutoff mark.
ma question is-should i continue with mech.eng in yaba or mathematics in unilorin? And which has better job opportunities.TANX
bro stick to ur engineering admission..any degree in engineering is better than its equivalent in maths.. OND In Mech would fetch u about 350k per month in an Oil coy and about 200k in a FMCG..do the maths on what u will earn with an HND..

matify: Corporate bodies into sports sponsorship are only doing it to get TAX reprieve from the government and not because they so much as love the sports. That's the big secret behind GLO's alliance with the supporter's club and sponsorship of our premier league.

Tell me which business man will want to commit millions of his profit into supporting a venture that will not in the long run be to his advantage?
Corporate social responsibility they call it but trust me its more of corporate social invstment is how i see it
