Bola146:What's your profession? |
ignis:I am telling you. If you see what men are doing with all those runs girls, you will wonder if they are jazzed. A full grown man with a wife and kids will still be messing around ,carrying girls from hotels to hotels all in the name of sex. Married men are terrible for this act. Money they will spend on their family, they will spend it on runs girls. |
spendoon:Renal diet is a good title. It is still very new. Not as saturated as Ketogenic diet. A pointer: include a meal plan in the book. It will boost sales. Select good renal recipes for the meal plan. It can be a 7 days meal plan, 2 weeks meal plan and emphasize it in your description. |
Kyom20:Abortion is a sin. You don't whatsoever have any justification for it. When having sex, always put at the back of your mind that releasing inside a female vægina will yield life. Now, if you were aborted by your parents, would you have been alive? Abortion is a murder case. That is why you need to be smart when making out with a lady. It is either you use a protection or if you are that smart, you withdraw (withdrawal method). I have always said it; there is no justification for a grown man to impregnate a girl when he knows he is not ready to have a baby. I am not that dull to ejaculate inside a girl and expect her not to be pregnant. Guys should use their senses when it comes to making out with girls. Don't get too carried away and ejaculate inside and when a child is formed, you will be planning of terminating it. A life that can end up being your savior in the future. Say no to abortion! |
spendoon:Change your mindset. You need to keep publishing and remove your mind from the money aspect for now. Just make sure you are doing the right thing. Populate your shelf with loads of quality books, not just one or two. The easiest way to get frustrated in this business is publishing little books and expecting instant sales. |
spendoon:That's your KENP read. |
Knox123:Self tutoring through Udemy, coursera and YouTube. |
Hakeem12:That's interesting. I have just started falling in love with programming. Not that I had prior knowledge before now. I just recently started developing this interest. |
Knox123:I will be taking python and JavaScript. But I will start with python then move to JavaScript. 6 months for each. That's 1 full year resolution. |
Hakeem12:What programming language can cater for all of that? |
Samfloxin:It's quite tasty bro. You haven't tried it that's why. And it has a nice aroma when you roast the fish inside. |
MRcocaFanta:Erhei is pepper soup spice. It's called the calabash nutmeg. It's botanical name is monodora myristica. It is sold in the market. Once you mention pepper soup spice, they will hand it to you. But it is mostly identified by market women as the pepper soup spice.

Romangalactic:You can't be that sure that the child is not yours. Nothing is constant in this life. The only thing that is constant is change itself. Miracles do happens. Go for a DNA test after the birth of the child. |
ufotty2001:Everyone has a writing process. Some have writers they out source to. So, people like that do shun out books like water. |
dHARKS:Skills is the way right now. The world is going in the a direction that when you don't have a skill, it will be hard for you to survive. In this part of the world, people put too much efforts to certificate. They expect so much from their first class grades. Having a first class makes some to never want to acquire skills cuz they believe with the first class, companies will run after them. That's the msiatke some make. Right now, I value skills more than a school certificate. I am planning on learning two IT courses at the moment to become a self taught software engineer. 1. Python 2. JavaScript Those are the two skills I hope to kickstart soon. In fact, I am going to dedicate a full year for this. Once I am done, I will build my personal projects to build my portfolio in that field. By the time I build up to 5 projects, I think I am good to go. People like you who build softwares, who are software engineers can never run out of jobs. |
LaCremy:I am not supporting copying. One's work should be unique and pass plagiarism. I always make sure my works are unique before publishing. My first point was actually on trademark keywords. Amazon don't joke with such. Once a particular title is trade mark, I don't think Amazon will approve such a book. Most accounts that are terminated are as result of a publisher publishing a trademark title. Amazon will flag it instantly and will even send you a message to take it down. If one does not respond to that message on time, it is immediately followed by termination message. So, most of the terminations is not really as a result of someone copying someone's else contents because all published books are automatically checked for plagiarism even before Amazon approve it. So, most of the terminations are as result of unintentional used of trademark keywords/titles. |
ambitiouschap:You are right. It's when they see that such a book is selling, they will report it. But perhaps a book is gathering dust in one's book shelf, nobody will report it even if it is copyrighted. But those people reporting others are not trying at all. They want to eat alone. |
seunmohmoh:Wow! For the specs, this price is good. |
stepo707:He should write it himself and give it to someone to review. That's why it is a competency demonstration report. It is better he write it himself. He is capable. If he was able to pass through UI and graduate, he can write this report and get positive assessment. |
AMvanquish:How much is this Xiaomi Redmi note8 at present? |
Destol090:I am planning on getting this Redmi note8. How good sharp are the pictures of the camera? And how long does the battery last? |
klassd:You're welcome. |
horlamilekan23:If you are not sure if a particular keyword is a trademark and you want to be sure; simply head on to usptoDOTgov (pls replace DOT with .) and click on "Trademarks" then click on TESS (Search trademark database). On the "Select A Search Option" box, click on the option "Basic Word Mark Search" (New User). On the new page that opens, check mark the options "Singular and Live. Type in the keyword you want to search on the "Search Term" box and click "Submit Query". If the word is a trademark word more like a copyrighted word, it will bring out the information. Don't write on such keywords. But if the word is not a trademark, no information will show when you click on Search Query. Using Viagra as an example, you can see in the screenshot that when I clicked Search Query, information about Viagra came up. That is to tell you that Viagra as a keyword is a trademark. If you write on a trademark keyword like viagra, it can lead to your account being terminated. There are other trademarks keywords. You just have to verify using this process if you are not sure so as to be sure.
|
horlamilekan23:I published some books on medical niches. I didn't know they were trademarks titles. And the next thing I saw was Amazon hammer (termination). |
klassd:If you don't have Publisher Rocket, you can still find profitable keywords by browsing through the various book categories on Amazon. Every category has best sellers with the Best seller tag. Set your browser to private and browse through the various categories, you will see best seller books. Look at their titles. A book with a best seller tag on shows that such book is selling. Such books usually have their main keyword in their titles. While others in the subtitles. You just have to take a critical look at the title and fish out the keyword the writer used. Once you've been able to identify the keyword, head on to Amazon search bar and type the keyword on the search bar and click search to see the number of books that are using that particular keyword. Check the reviews of the first 10 books of your search. Are the reviews positive? Is there any negative review on the best seller book? If there is any negative review, can you tailor your book in line with the best seller book and address the negative review you found in the best seller book? Those should be your interests. Check out the table of content of the best seller book of your interest that you will like to write on and tailor your book according to that with your unique contents. |
klassd:If it is something that will benefit others, you can ask it here. I will do well to attend to it. |
You are welcome @ eliok |
Hello fellow indies, I hope you are all taking this business seriously. All thanks to the creator of this thread. What I am about to write will definitely serves as an encouragement to someone. Well, I am not a newbie in this business any more.I liberated myself from newbie long time ago. I started kdp 1st of September, 2017. I should be celebrating 2yrs plus anniversary in this business if I am to do that. But here is the thing; one mistake people make when they begin this business is having the mindset to blow instantly. This business is not like that. You will surely blow but what will make you to blow in this business is not your mindset but your persistency and constant action. A couple of persons do back out once they are not making sales. Now, let me tell you about this 2 years of my stay in this book publishing business. When I started, I wrote my first book, designed my cover and published, but no single sale came through. I went on to write the second, still no single sale. I carried on to the third, fourth, fifth then along the line, I made one sale. That sale brought hope to me. I continued to the sixth, seventh, down to my 10th book. Do you believe I couldn't boost of $10 a month from those 10 books? But that didn't make me relent. I continued writing up to 20 books and I was able to make $50. A mind was telling me if this business was for me at all? People were raking in lots of money with couples of books but here I was having 20 books and couldn't boost of $50. Whenever I experienced such thoughts, I pushed them away and say to myself: this is not a get rich quick business. When you see this business as a get rich quick type of business and you do not achieve your expectation on time, you will experience the thought of giving up when you've not even written up to 5 to 10 books. Now, can I tell you why I was not making sales even though I had over 20 books in my beginning years? It was because I wasn't carrying out proper keywords research before writing. I wrote those books blindly that was why I couldn't even boost of 50 bucks monthly from them. The most painful part was when I wrote 10 particular forbidden books that raked in about $1000 for me but trust me, my account got terminated. What a big blow on me! That made me feel so terribly bad when I got that termination email from Amazon. However, they included in the email that I would be paid the money. Normally, when amazon terminate your account, they will tell you whether you would be paid your already earned royalties or not. So when I saw that they will pay me the $1000 royalties I already earned from those books, I didn't feel the pain of my account being terminated much but rather I was strategizing on how to open another to start afresh. Alas, I got paid about N340,000 from the proceeds of those books cuz I sold the funds to my exchanger at the rate of N340/$1 as at then. Mind you, starting afresh means I will have to write entirely new books and begin publishing. The over 30 books I wrote in the terminated account shouldn't in any way be published again by me to prevent any trace of my previous account being linked with the present through those books. Well, it was a terrific pain to me, having to start afresh. But I think I am grateful I did. I never for one day have the thought of giving up any way, that contributed hugely to my motivation. I started afresh, but this time, with proper way of doing things. Imagine you having 20 books and can't boost of making 50 bucks not even 20 bucks a month. If you were to be the one, what will you do? You will give up, won't you? Definitely you will if and only if you do not configure your mind from the beginning to succeed in this business despite whatever comes as the outcomes. After starting afresh 5 months ago, I set my first target of $300 which had been able to achieve so far. Now, I have set my next target of $600 which I will love to achieve this month or next due to my schedule. One thing is that, I have not really been consistent with my writing due to my schedule. Being that I have other things doing, have not really grant me the apple time to stuck my Amazon book shelf with loads of books. So, what exactly am I trying to say? I want to let you know that this business requires: 1. Tough persistency 2. Strong motivation 3. A never get rich quick mindset 4. Profitable keywords 5. Excellent contents 6. Good book description 7. Good cover 8. Consistent writing 9. A never back out spirit 10. Prayer to crown it all. In all, it is never a smooth journey, if you are not determined. Doing things blindly can contribute to your delay to make it faster in this business. But if you read everything that pertains to this business and how each is done and you follow suit, you will achieve your target faster than when you do not follow a proper course of doing things. A good book cover is required even if your content is great. A perfect book description is required even if your cover is great. You must take care of every aspects of the publishing without leaving out any of the part or rushing through them. Go through your description; do you notice any grammatical error? Have it corrected. Put yourself in the shoes of the buyers, take a critical look at your book cover, if you were to buy that your book, is the cover eye catchy enough to your eyes? If not then change it. I can design cover myself but not so professionally. Thus, I always make sure I pay a professional book designer to design my covers for me. With that, all my covers always look great from afar even before you click on the book. This I didn't do when I started out in my previous terminated account. I thought I could design my cover myself to cut cost but they always look horrible in appearance. That's one mistake I made. Since then, I never design my covers myself. I pay to have them designed to a professional level. So, I do hope that someone will pick one or two things from this episode so far so good. The watch word? Keep writing, write, write , write and write more till you hit your monthly target and keep the target rolling back to back after achieving them. When you achieve one, you set another and so on and so forth. |

crackkhaus:Men rush beautiful girls just for the cookie. They hardly have anything serious to do with them after hitting it cuz they always sense they won't be loyal thus, they hardly get a guy that will be commited to them. If a beautiful girl can prove any man wrong by being loyal and being at her best character before the man, trust me, she will never stay long in the market before a man wife her. But the problem from most beautiful girls is that, they hardly cultivate attitudes that will make a man want to get serious with them. Some can't cook. Some are dirty inwardly. Others can't keep a home. They are mostly concerned about their looks and the so much attentions they get from men and neglect cultivating good attitudes that will make a man want to wife them. My personal observations though! |
Ahmed0336:The reason why most girls are still single is that most men always see beyond their beauty. They see beautiful girls as secretly promiscous and having them is like inviting trouble to oneself cuz every Tom and Harry will always want to have a feel of their cookies and they are hardly loyal to any man that chooses to wife them. Those are the fear of men. That's why we see a lot of single beautiful girls all around. And the worst is that most men see every highly beautiful girl as a runs girl and the type that can't keep a home. They hardly know how to cook too. They also feel mostly too concerned about their beauty order than their characters and always like getting too much attention from men all day round. That is why once men sight such beautiful girls, all they think about is the cookie and how to hit it and move on cuz they know they can't keep such girls as wives without experiencing cheating from them due to the too much attentions they get every passing day. |
ajericho:Thank you. |
