And one more thing, try as much as possible to save a large portion of your salary every month after deduction of all accrued monthly living expenses which I know will mostly come from your children. Stay off any relationship for the now and embrace your new self. |

ModestGal: Thats one of the mistake I made in my life and still regretting it till now. First class is a waste of time and thoughts. If you are connected, not an introvert, then you have a chance, if you are not, please I beg you, while in university, concentrate on things you can do that would bring you money and make you happy in life. Just make sure you don't go below second class upper. Nigeria is a failed country. I wish I did this when I was in the university, I was busy making sure I was doing well in academics, I also registered for a 4years Arabic course which I finished. I wish I knew my advisors were merely myopic, I wish I had concentrated my energy on learning TECH skills. I wish I had used my school fees to purchase Tech equipment and learn the skills, some of us fall into the category of bad advice. I regret the day I saw my result and it was full of A's in 100level first semester, that was my motivation and every body started telling me I would made a first class up and down, and telling me not to relent. I wish I had relented, but I was stupid to keep pursuing nonsense Hmmm, it's never too late. |
Travel › Re: Nigeria Is A Failed Miserable Country by Mcslize: 5:08pm On May 09, 2020 |
EgunMogaji2: You mentioned one thing that most do not account for, cost of living. It’s not as if you commute from Oju Elegba to Toronto to work. One has to factor in the high cost of living.
For me in the USA my federal income tax rate was 25% and my state income tax rate was 10%. So for every $100 I make I only take home $65 theoretically. Out of that same $65 I pay for medical insurance, dental insurance and other deductions so at best my take home is around $50 out of that $100
Good luck to all intending travelers but make sure you have the full picture.
I have 3 personal friends (native born Americans) that are waiting for all the Covid stuff to pass so they can migrate out of North America. Bro but you are paying the tax for what you make use of on a monthly basis. At least, the government there use the tax money to make life comfortable for the masses. I really don't see any good reason why people should be complaining about tax. If you don't pay tax, how will the government create the basic amenities you guys enjoy over there? The constant light, good roads, portable central water system and the lots. What you should be concerned about is that the government is using the tax money judiciously. A typical example is the $1200 that Dollars Trump gave out as palliative to alleviate the stress of this lockdown on their citizens. I hope you heard about that. If people don't pay tax, where do you think he would have gotten that huge amount of money to pay everyone? In essence, let's always not complain about tax. Look at the huge benefit you get from the tax money you pay which is the availability of constant basic amenities. They don't take your light, you get clean water running in your house 24hrs. Unlike we that pay light bill here in Nigeria and won't see light for 2 weeks. You are definitely paying for what you are enjoying and making use of. And I don't think they will tax anyone beyond his or her capacity. That's why everyone don't pay same amount for tax. They tax you according to your income, that is why there is no much discrepancy between the rich and the poor over there. |

Nice one. This is one of the niches I am going into.
If possible try and rank every of your video with huge traffic keywords. This niche is a blast I tell you. Just be consistent.
You will hit the required 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours for monetization in no time.
Apart from that, there are other ways you can start monetizing your videos right from this moment even before you reach the required 1000 subscribers.
This is not a get reach quick scheme, but I can tell you that it has turned people into millionaires in dollars. |

piamily: Oh ! I get you now. So you’re saying Nigerian men really want ladies to play the hard to get very hard then. So why are they complaining. Well then I’ll keep playing it hard as usual since they think it was bread and butter they got in a platter of gold Playing hard to get don't work for all guys. Mature guys will see it as immaturity. You can do that to young guys who just want to bleep and move on but if you try such with a guy who is truly serious with you, he will simply move on. Like me, there is a limit I can tolerate a girl that play hard to get. Once a lady exhausts her life line or exceeds that limit, I don yakpa no time. I will simply see you as the not serious type who doesn't know what she wants. Be yourself. And if you must play hard to get with a guy you like, do it with sense. Don't over do it so that it won't make the guy back off. Humans are different. |

gamapoy539: This is the mathematical representation of your foolishness sir(no offense).
180,000 which is about $500 which would have paid for my servers for 16 good months which would've gotten me 32 freshly monetized youtube accounts which i would've sold for 120k each and would've made N3.8 million. bros why ?
Modified: Those asking about this method. I'm sorry to inform you that i do not offer anyform of mentorship nor tutorship and if for whatever reason i have to do it, you can't afford it. and as my boss ILengendd would always say - "èverything you need is on Google and on YouTube."
Modified 2: Please don't send me PMs as it will be sent to an email i do not even know or have access to nor own.
Modified 3: i am still getting PMs.. Please i do not have access to the mail associated with this account. Why will you even think of selling a well monetized YouTube channel for a meager 120k? That amount is too small. With the current dollar rate, that's $320. N380 × $320= N121,600 A monetized YouTube channel is a lifetime investment that will keep generating you money even when you are asleep. Selling such is not going to be a good decision. |
