The addtional 10 points that is based on your marital status is constant and it applies to the 3 major visas. There is a point that has been introduced/assigned to your marital status whether single or married which is the 10 points. As far as you have a partner that had assessed his/her occupation and have a competent English, you won't say you can't claim the 10 points simply because you are applying for 190 and not 491. You get? I do believe that's what you are trying to say.

I still stand with the fact that it is not only those applying for 491 that can claim applicants marital status points; the 10 points. That's not true to the best of my knowledge. The 10 points is constant and it's across board. As far as you meet the criteria to claim it, irrespective of whichever visa you are applying for, you can always claim it. It is not introduced only for 491.

The only thing that may occur will be pushing the minimum points from 65 to 70 which the 10 points already catered for.
