Felimax: Not everything seem the way they are. On a norm such a phenomenal will make you avoid eating that food for a reason.
Sometimes I comment so people who want to learn can learn.
There are lots of energies surrounding us, some good, some bad, some in between and some on a mission. When things like these happen check carefully around you will see the meaning.
I once had a long time female friend who visited me from Warri and just as we were about to take a meal together centipede crawled out of the hot rice. I could not believe a food I prepared myself so hot will have centipede somewhere inside, I did not raise an alarm I simply abadoned the food and it was very clear to me later that she came with a plan to my house which if not for God it would have been a different story entirely.
Sometimes, such phenomenal are triggers to signs. Listen, and observe and you will see nothing happens by chance. I was in an occasion two weeks ago. So, a man said he wanted to eat Eva and egusi soup. As the food was served to the man, he made to take in the first ball, waaam, the plate of soup fell off his hand. Na so my comrade abandoned the food. I encouraged him to continue with his eating since the plate was still upright and the soup didn't pour out much per se. The man reechoed what you type above. He abandoned the soup and said whatever made the soup to fall was a message....I learnt that one too that day.. |

I have a calling to start up my own ministry and I am there for learning.
So, I am thinking to quit to start a job job as a sienna driver in a company that pays 50k monthly, I just want to experience outside work and also raise money to start up my ministry.
So, I need some advice. For someone who said God called him, that's if you are really sure of yourself, this may not be the best place to get the best advice. You can seek out a genuine man or woman of God who hears from God. You should go to them for directions. You can also wait upon God for some days. He will reveal some things to you |

Naaaa! NGOs dont pay taxes but what is urgently and seriously needed
1. Govt need to establish strong regulations over religious activities 2. every kobo made by a religious body (church Musque etc) should properly and completely accounted for 3. The era of religious leaders, Pastors, G.O, Imam etc having unrestricted access to the group's fund must be abolished 4. Expenses by a religious group must be as approved by the governing council/Board of Trustee of such group 5. The bodies should be audited at regular intervals and at such time as the requisite govt authority deem fit.
Most of the evils perpetrated under the umbrella of religious group in Nigeria cannot be sustained for a year in countries that have set the theme of operations and also discipline infractions. Your last statement sha. So, does USA practice all these you typed there? You are very naive bro. |

jesusjnr2020: What Happened The Day I Said "Goodbye" To The World And "Welcome" To Jesus
It seemed just like any other day. I was in a joint-fellowship meeting on campus and also part of the choir.
Although I wasn't yet saved at the time, i didn't feel out of place there because i had already gotten used to being active in that capacity in church, leading praise and worship and also choir ministration despite yet being a sinner. But the words i heard from the preacher on that day was so compelling, it made me finally make that defining decision to say yes to Christ.
This was after I had come out for several alter calls prior to that without truly repenting. However on this particular occasion i didn't even go out for the alter call, so no one else in the meeting may have noticed what had just taken place. But on that day heaven bore witness and was rejoicing because a change had truly taken place in me, and a soul which was previously lost and bound for hell, had become saved and won into the Kingdom of heaven.
One remarkable difference I noticed in my life after I made the decision for Jesus was with respect to my strong inclination to steal.
Now I was such a chronic thief. I used to steal for country. It got to the extent that I would break into people's houses and cars to steal, some of them were even my neighbors and (family) friends who welcomed me into their family homes and treated me kindly but I still stole or tried to steal from them. It was that bad.
I have a feeling that the strong drive to steal then was driven by my materialistic and covetous tendencies. That's the reason why I am very careful with teachings which encourage such in the church, because I know how far such can push someone into doing the wrong things.
No wonder why Jesus strongly discouraged and sternly warned against such things:
Luke 12:15 (KJV)
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Although mine, thankfully, didn't get to the extent of wanting to injure or kill someone physically in other to get what they had, as it often does, as illustrated by the instance of Judas the disciple of Jesus who betrayed Him because of money to show how far it could push someone.
Mine was still bad though regardless, but what shocked me was that on that day, in that very moment I made that decision, that inclination in me instantly dried up. That is to say, i suddenly stopped stealing and turned to the opposite of what I used to be in that regards from that day onwards.
This became evident just days later when my best friend in school had finished the assignment and given me to copy from him, as we usually did beforehand to help each other in class, but to his greatest surprise, I told him "no, thanks", that I was going to do it myself.
That was how he came to realize that I was no longer the man he once knew.
It was indeed a brand new me.
God bless. Hallelujah!! |

Yes. I was offered a scholarship to study for my MSc at the University of Central Lancashire but my parents didn't have money to cover the remaining fees..I received an email from the dean of my faculty that I should embrace the opportunity as it comes once in a lifetime. The admission was purely unconditional. I try, try , try, e no work out.
I com veeeeex. I got a job a few months after the opportunity was lost. I com spend all my salary on night browsing in cyber cafe in those days, looking for opportunities to study abroad. In September 2004, my prayer was answered. My interview at the American consulate was like a joke because I wasn't fully prepared for it. A day preceding my interview, my application and supporting documents were drenched by a heavy rain the moment I stepped out of a cyber cafe the rain started. I had to spread them in my room in ibadan until the following morning and I left for Lagos for my appointment very early. I entered obalende CMS straight , still not taking it seriously because I didnt have enough time to prepare. I took my passport, loaded my visa fee on a valu card, which was the only means of paying visa fees that time.
The guy didn't even ask for my bank statement and that would have spoilt the show for me because I no get one...I just appeared by faith and that was my very first time of entering that place and any embassy for that matter. I left that place smiling and the rest was history. The destination was buffalo, upstate NY. This made me smile dunno why. I like your story telling mode.. |
