Those that started the movement #endsars initially had genuine interest to stop police brutality against innocent citizens. The movement has been hijacked by criminals and elements of disobedient. If SARS is disbanded, does it mean that police will abandon the fight against cyber crime? Another formation can be established with a different name and can be more brutal than SARS. The attack on security agencies on the disguise of protest is unacceptable and uncalled for. Nigerians have right to protest against government but government also has the responsibility to curb breaking down of law and order.

This #endsars may escalate to something else if care is not taken,I smell a revolution coming because Nigerians are gradually reaching their endurance limits, celebrities will make it come fast and easy,if youths resort to arms and violence it will be difficult for for government to control because they constitute 80% of the Nigerian population imagine trying to control over 50million angry boys and girls Nigeria is not Egypt or libya for Christ sake this is the most populous black nation on Earth,Ngerias is more than that of all West African countries combined, infact it will turn another civil war.

I want to use this opportunity to warn The Federal Government and all it's security agencies to be at alert as Terrorists are using Nigerian Celebrities to push for the EndSars campaign because the most notable terrorist Group in Nigeria, Hezbollah is paying these Celebrities to badmouth the government and the police because the police has been doing a good job of trying to arrest the masterminds of fraud in Nigeria which are cult groups and the Celebrities in these cult groups, examples are Burna Boy,Wizkid and Davido, these are the people that Hezbollah is using through covert means to try and disintegrate this great country. And if this is allowed to happen the blame will be on The Present Government and it will not be fair. That is why the government needs to go after these Celebrities and bring them to account for their negative actions as regards to using their fame to influence youths into criminal lifestyles.

Ending of SARS will not stop anything because if you end it, the real arm robbers and touts will jubilate. Also, ending it won't solve the problem because the same officers will be move to another police departments or given a new tag. Fish the corrupt ones out and make them pay heavily for their misconduct.

In Nigeria, we are good at changing names instead of addressing the problem. A typical example is NEPA to PHCN.

SARS is not the problem. I think this end sars protest is being sponsored by the govt to distract the youths, we should be protesting unemployment, fuel price hike, electricity hike, restructuring etc.
If u end sars will it stop them from harassing the youths? They are still employed by the police, and can still use that medium to harass people.
Since we've finally had the courage to protest, I suggest we channel it to the right quarters
