It's your call. Go with your desired preference. I'd prefer SH while others will prefer BB. No repercussion whatsoever.

Friends... You can get likeminds on social media. Yes, you are lady but if you're smart, you can both genders has good friends. From there, you can pick up a partner.

Job.. My dear, online job is now the way forward. Start learning what you are passionate about. Lots of it on nairaland. Here is my second home. I have friends here. Buy gadgets, make money and learn here.

Electricity.. That you need to find away around. Get a phone with good battery life. Get a strong power bank and stuffs you think can make it work. You just have to find away. It sucks though, but this is Nigeria, complaining does not solve problems, it creates depression.

Start from Nairaland. Be open minded and ensure you draw the lines in relationships and business deals.

It worked for me.

Like the Pastor, his supporters are pure idealists who forgot that life is reality and must be treated as such. You can't leave reality -- what's obtainable -- and construct sweet-looking ideas that do not befit the lifestyle of reality. It won't work that way.

My point is: Just like everybody cannot be rich, some have to be poor. And in a saner society, to avoid ‘class struggle’, the livelihood of the poor becomes the responsibility of the rich.

In application, every single individual cannot own a business, some have to work under owners of businesses. That's reality.

Just imagine every living graduate in Nigeria owns a business -- of which they can't operate alone, and which they will need skilled labour, eventually, most of these businesses would pack-up as it lacks the proper business setup.

However, for those that sew the Pastor's ‘agbadas’, it is their luck to own a business that thrives. And for those graduates he referred to as ‘compound fools’, time will tell. If luck shines on them, they will eventually be an employer of labour or be employed by labour. But if none happens to them, they will become ‘weed’ -- unwanted plants -- in the society and thus, they won't allow the government as well as the Pastor sleep with their two eyes closed, they won't live in peace.

I leave in peace, so I can live in peace.

Don't mind them. They have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad all over. They think that's how biz thrives. They keep on mentioning Dangote, Adenuga and likes. They failed to ask or search their source of capital.

I have folks making millions doing all sorts of online hustle but the money they spend on basic necessity (electricity, internet, rent) is enough to get them frustrated.

Even Dangote and likes are tired of Nigeria's business environment. Nobody asked why Otedola sold is oil firm. Adenuga's wish to make Internet the cheapest in Nigeria was rebuffed.

Pastors cannot complain because gullible youths will definitely collect envelope and drop something on Sunday.

I challenge them, aside pastoral duty, what else do they do especially Pastor Bakare. Nothing, as if that's how God taught them

See, a host of us are now wiser, we ain't atheists but learnt how to serve our God.

Yes, many youths are ready to learn something. When last did you patronize made in Aba.? Is that not the product you call FAKE.

The government has nothing to do with creating jobs but the environment must be provided. Innoson, how many government officials use tge cars. Peugeot is there as well. The new Armour truck in Ogun State. Is government patronizing them? NO. How will they create jobs if there is no market and exchange rate is at its highest.

Business is easy to learn. To thrive and succeed in Nigeria is WAR.

Our population is good to thrive but we prefer foreign goods to ours. Even toothpick and sanitary wears.

A statement can mean a million statement hence, caution especially from those youths have so much interest in.

To me, that's outter rubbish from a man of God. He should call the government to provide the enabling environment for youths to thrive but no, he keeps on supporting archiac leaders.

Stop unnecessary distractions. People have build houses, travelled abroad, paid school fees and did alot despite the "meager" percentage.

I will like to make us understand something this morning which I think will benefit a lot of people. So I went through my watchlist to analyse which of the domains that were dropcaught by fellow domainers have been sold and which have been developed into a website but unfortunately many are still in the domainers portfolio, some have even reduced the price as low as $100. I can't possibly imagine myself buying a domain for $59 and still selling it for $100. It's just absurd. Then there are some people, you dropcatch domains, then you place unrealistic prices on them. How do you expect to sell Baltimore/marketing/agency/KING for $1999? Who will buy that from you? Common, we need to look at things from a new perspective. 2021 is almost here and honestly, I feel people should think well before drop catching a name, it's becoming rampant nowadays and if we are not careful, we will just be wasting money with low ROI.

My 2 cents though!

Sometimes our opinion on price of a domain should be discarded.

First, you don't know the background of the current owner neither do you know the history of the domain. This has been argued forth and back on this thread. We have seen four figures with domains we termed not worth it.

In domaining, what works for you might not work for others. As I always say, there is no guiding principle or rule.

Let me give you an example, I have a doman that I have been following for long. They make use of the dot org (abbreviation) which would soon expire. Watching it to drop and buy. I already place four figure on the dot com. Imagine, I get hold of the dot org. I'd place a higher price on it. The buyer will be confused and will have no option than to bargain or find another abbreviation for the web. It's business. We learn everyday.

It still means dot com. It is used to avoid loss of clients. If you use the dot com here and google search, nairaland will be one the results which is bad for the domain name.

I remember when I registered socialworkmagazine and ElonMosque advised I seek for refund. I didn't, I even submitted on SH.. Don't laugh oo.

That's domaining. No fast rule. You learn, unlearn and learn.

What you did on Namesilo can be replicated on Porkbun. You buy domain names from them. Change to your preferred landing page. They are reffered to as registrars.

Squadhelp or SH has might have read, is a brandable website where you can submit both registered and unregistered domains for approval and sale. To understand better, find the thread on nairaland.

No bank would ask for your BVN over the phone, once it concerns your BVN, they ask you to visit the bank.... let no one deceive you, do not give out ur BVN!!

Who says? You have not been asked doesn't mean they don't. Have you called NIRSAL before? Have you had challenges in verifying some info in your account and you are indisposed health wise or otherwise to visit the bank in person? If not, don't say what you have not experienced.

Again, I reiterate, your BVN has nothing to do with any form of scam. If you're not convinient dropping, then don't.

When you applied for this loan, you shouldn't have dropped it either, since you know those making use of it to approve the loans.

A big lie, your account can be wiped out in minutes. I know several people whose account were cleared after they released the bvn to the wrong people.

Your account can never be wiped with your BVN alone. Ask the person the real cause. The environment I work, nothing, I mean nothing can be gotten from your BVN. If you want, I give you 50 different BVN, work on them and give me their account numbers. Nothing will suffice.

Account numbers is even more worse to drop than BVN. Get it right.

The goal of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) is to uniquely verify the identity of each Bank's customer for 'know your customer' (KYC) purposes.

It is meant to link all your transactions to one number. It makes it easy for fraud tracking, movement et al. That's why you see politicians having it hard to deposit in banks. BVN will track every cash flow.

The problem we have is that we are trying to separate what is legal and what is right. In this situation, your BVN can never be used for anything. However, it is not right to give it out.

Going forward, even if you call NIRSAL for clarification, they will ask for your BVN. If you have issues with your bank and you are trying to get it fixed over the phone, your BVN will be requested. We don't know who is at the other end, yet we drop.

My brother, I don't know which part of the country you come from and religion. I think, that should first be considered. Yorubas love party. They can go extra length to get to done no matter the cost implication.

I also think Igbos ensure their loved ones are buried according to tradition and proper rites are done.

Hausas and Muslims rarely go extraordinary when it comes to burial

That said, you can only advise and suggest, you cannot have a final say in this issue. You might be the only male child which in some culture is enough to make you the head but civilization and wealth has changed everything.

You can hustle and drop any substantial amount you can raise. Do not borrow for party. It's suicidal. Concerning your sis still struggling, tell her to do same and if she can't come up with anything, I believe you all understand her situation.

Or the buyer should have enough patience for the 60days expiration. After expiration, extra dayto receive the authentication code and 5days final push. Netsol get too much wahala. That's why it's advisable to start outbanding few days to expiration of names on Netsol.
