Barryseal: I just read an article where it was said that Man city won the league with the least tackles of any team in the Premiership. Off the ball movement has become an absolute class in the Premiership. Rating a DM by the number of tackles seems so 1995 and maybe, just maybe that could be the reason Ndidi hardly attracts any major interest after topping the tackles statistics in consecutive seasons. What do you expect from a DM that plays for a team like LCFC, if not tackles and tackles upon tackles. He is good at what is required of him. Do not at all forget his high points in interceptions and ball clearances,. He is not a mechanic, as some would like to liken him, colloquially. Ndidi is an intelligent DM. His intelligence, made perspicuous in his master-class tackles, tells us one thing 'Ndidi is world class'. |

profmathsland: Iwobi is essentially an AM now in the team although he can feature from the wings. What about Samuel kalu? You forgot about him? Even Simon moses too? In Chukwueze's absence, we still have the likes of Ahmed Musa (LWF), Samuel Kalu (RW), Henry Onyekuru (LWF/RWF) and Simon Moses (RW/LW) who are strong candidates on the wings. Iwobi is also an option depending on circumstances but he is our playmaker now after Mikel. He is an AM even though I feel he still hasn't hit his peak potentials just yet. Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon are not as good as the wingers i have mentioned earlier. Ahmed Musa is not a proper winger, he is best a CF or a false 9. |

So Chukwueze won't feature in this AFCON tourney. This is really not good. He is in the foremost. They, Iwobi Onyekuru and Chukwueze are the finest wingers in the current fold. |

Guys to be honest we played very well. Our strenght lies in wing-play which is very difficult on this kind of pitch. With the way Seychelles played, given this pitch, it will be very difficult to dribble or move with the ball into the 18 yard box without badging into bodies, getting kicks and getting injured, and there is not even a way to draw them out. Inspite of all these we scored three goals. |

Rockyrascal: on another note Barry, we don't have an effective and efficient individual brilliance of a player that can/should always rescue the team at crucial moments. Every team always have that one player....can we boast of one? Henry Onyekuru, Victor Moses. |

Mickael2: It is just not in his skillset. I thought I was the ibly that noticed this, Puel has been playing him further up the pitch to improve these things but it has just not clicked. The sooner we come to terms with the fact that he is a poor man's Kante the better for us all. So you believe that even with a good drilling and practise, he can't develop into a fine ball distributor? There is always room for any player to improve, brother. You know he was once a defender. Ndidi is meek and will learn. |

Curtisaxel7: Iwobi picked the ball from the center circle, beat four opposing players before rounding the keeper and firing into the top right corner of the net.
Shebi na wetin una wan hear? You can say that again and again, just like a prophecy, for in no time, Iwobi will record such a performance. |

TheGoodJoe: It is his choice. Money or football. If Nacho wants to make something out of his career, he can change his course, take a reduction in wages and work towards playing in a better system.
I do not spend time criticising. I try to find out what is wrong and point out a solution.
I hope Nacho makes the right decision and get himself in an offensive creative side. That is all. The Good Mind, good thinking, good spirit, TheGoodJoe. |

andrew444: Moving january is bad, Villareal will not be relegated
Dont compare chukwueze case to simmy
We are talking about a young talent here
La liga is just 17 games and you are talking about villareal being relegated , mind you villareal is one of the big teams in spain, they started so poorly last season and they still ended up with a europa league spot
You guys are talking as if villareal is in the position of chievo is seria A
Its only 6 point gaps between 17th place Villarreal and 8th place valencia so whats the fuss about all this relegation talk Making sense. |

What about his brilliant assist to Xhaka?
More interested in his misplaced pass. Your views speaks very much about your name. Good analysis, good thinking. |
