1) From bankers. Most tellers that handle your day to day transactions are contract staff. Sadly they are the least paid too. So they have made peace with the fact that they are not recognized and have no hope climbing up. As such they do any quick runs to get by. Not forgetting marketers, they could be a handful too.

2) From useless children. You will be shocked that at least 50% of fraudulent withdrawals on accounts of elderly people are carried out by/in connivance with their kids or caregivers.

As long as it moves from one account to the other, it can easily be recovered or at least traced to someone who knows someone.

The process is to cry abi report like she just did. A lot would be dependent on the cooperation of the beneficiary’s bank. Cases are always easier to treat if it is within same bank.

The second you admit you gave out your sensitive details, you take the blame off the bank. Not like bankers do not know that customers compromise their details in such cases, but then, you admitting it makes it a whole lot easier for them to commot head.
As usual you slam the hard facts of the case bang on the head.

Big gbosa to our in-house problem solver.

When you hear from the management of the Hospital now,you will see it was exactly the opposite of what vanguard reported that happened.
The history of being treated for Malaria for 3 days without responding and needing oxygen at the CBN hospital already points to COVID 19 and his age might not help matters too but stupid vanguard will report the version that'll be sensational.

Akin Omoz-Oarhe wrote:

THE STORY TELLER HAS NOT TOLD STORIES A WHILE BECAUSE THE ELECTION NOW OCCUPIES THE TOP BURNER. BUT AFTER READING A PIECE BY FEMI FANI-KAYODE, HE DECIDED TO TELL THIS STORY TO CLOSE THE YEAR.

Personally, I support return of history to our school curriculum. But in truth, even when that is done, whose version of history will be taught and will this type of story be part of it?

FEMI FANI-KAYODE SAYS.
"My family have been a members of Nigeria ruling elite for four generations. I cannot be silenced or intimidated by a coven of ill tailored peasant or any man born of a woman. I was born to lead or resist evil, to fight tyranny, to speak truth to power and to stand up for the opppressed".

MY STORY OF THIS "4 GENERATION" OF RULING ELITES
Talking about four generations of the Fani Kayodes, he was rightly counting from....
**First Generation - FFK's Great Grand father who had a Masters degree in 1885 from Durham University.
**Second Generation- FFKs Grand father who was called to bar in 1921 having graduated from Cambridge.
**Third Generation - FFKs father who was called Remi Fani-Kayode. He was a brilliant young man that graduated from Cambridge, one of British top Universities and called to bar at just 24. He was the third and youngest Nigerian to be made Queens Counsel just as he was also the third Nigerian to be made an SAN. When he returned to Nigeria after his studies he went into politics and rose to become Deputy Premier of Western Region under SL Akintola, at just 42. He was the only Deputy Premier, Nigeria ever had and that makes me doubt the constitutionality of that position. All the same, he was.

If "Good" can be ascribed to the first and second generations of this highly cerebral family, the one that represented the third generation terminated all of that. Remi, Fani-Kayode imported thugry into Nigeria politics. His version of thuggery manifested in what is now known as "Operation Wetie".

In the early 1960s Akintola, premier of Western Nigeria had broken from Awolowos Action Group, AG, to form his own political party - Nigeria National Democratic Party, NNDP. Western Regional election was approaching and the tussle was between AG and NNDP.

Now let's have a glance at a typical campaign day of Remi, which as a little boy, I witnessed in Ibadan in 1964/1965.

Remi had four Jeeps and about 20 thugs. Each of the jeeps had in it about 10, 4-litre cans of petrol. These were driven slowly behind the gang along Oke Ado street where incarcerated Awo's family house was. Fani-Kayode was in shorts and walked at the front while his thugs lined behind him. The time is 4 pm. All were puffing rather big cigarettes wrapped in ordinary "2A" sheet of paper. I heard someone say they were smoking "India Hemp". As they walked along the the street which was very quickly getting deserted, a shout emanated from one of the thugs: "FANIIIIIIII"! Others responded "POWEEERR"! The chorus seemed to have alerted some women selling oranges, rice, gari, beans etc by the road shoulder. Pronto! They started packing their wares and ran to nearby houses that quickly admitted them in and locked their doors. Some of the women were not fast enough at packing up but all the same ran leaving the basins of rice and beans. When the gang got there, they overturned the basins and kicked off the tables. You could see many faces peeping through the windows of the houses as the "King of the Road" strutted along.

At intervals the gang may meet a man on the road who hadn't fled. In a jiffy, he is surrounded. The man is instructed when to say "Power". Then that shout "Faniiiiii" rang out and the man responded "Power". That was done three times after which Remi ordered "Wetie". One of the cans of petrol is emptied on him. A match is struck. Then you see a fleeing ball of fire. It drops, soon after. Some wringling on the ground. Then still. In this 10 minute spectacle, the gang had moved on. No time to waste. About 5 of that could be handled in just one evening.

In some cases, they actually knock at the door of the house of a known opponent who they dragged out and gave the same treatment. If luckily the man was not seen, the entire house is razed.

There were no street lights at night but most nights the streets where lighted by burning houses.

Is this the political leadership the son of Remi called, Femi Fani-Kayode, is talking abouthuh??

On the night of 15th January 1966, the first military coup had been planned. Politicians earmarked for death were:
*The Prime Minister of Nigeria - Tafawa Balewa a Fulani from Bauhi
*The premier of the North - Ahmadu Bello, a Fulani from Sokoto.
*The premier of the West- Samuel Akintola, a Yoruba from Ogbomosho.
*The Federal Minister for Finance - Festus Okotie Eboh, an Itsekiri from Midwest. He was said to be very rich and just too close to both Tafawa Balewa and Ahmadu Belo for comfort.

Those that may not have to die were:
*The Premier of the East, Michael Okpara, an Igbo from Umuahia.
*The Premier of the MidWest, Denis Osadebe, an Igbo from Asaba.

The deputy premier of the West, Remi Fani Kayode, a Yoruba from Ile-Ife was actually not supposed to be in the scheme of those to die but without him, it may not be easy to kill Akintola who had gotten wind of the coup and actually just returned from Kaduna after warning Ahmadu Bello. He was armed and may give good resistance to the coup ploters. The plotters had done their homework. Remi Fani-Kayode will be useful

In Ibadan, the first port of call was the home of Fani Kayode. The team was well armed. They expected a very tough fight with Remi. The man had well armed, powerful and had well trained thugs, all on drugs that will give any good army a tough fight. They got to the house and positioned themselves. The leader reviewed their positions many times to make sure nothing went wrong. Then they blarred their presence asking Remi Fani-Kayode to surrender. They were sweating blood. Bombs and granade were likely to start flying at them. Their index fingers already pressuring their guns triggers. Then, the unexpected.......
Remi Fani Kayode walked out with hands on his head. Surrendered. There was no need for even a catapult. They only needed to send two boys to bring him.
Remi Fani-Kayode IS A COWARD!

Now to the real battle. To the home of SL Akintola. The wife of Fani Kayode had already called Akintola to tell him what was up. Her husband had been taken. SL did not know that the operation would start so soon after he just returned from Kaduna. He is a bold man and was not going to die of gun shot on his back. He would die fighting. He was ready when the truck drove in. He stood at a vantage position at the front door from where he would pluck them one by one. The story has it that he had already gotten one of them down when he heard a familiar voice. It was the voice of his trusted, tough deputy - Remi. Remi screamed to him: "Stop shooting. They are friendly Soldiers". Peace rained down on Akintola. They are friendly soldiers. He dropped his gun. Opened the door to meet these friendly soldiers. As he did, Pratatata-Pratatata-Pratatata. The man died by the door. Remi lived and died only in 1995 almost 30 years after.
Remi Fani-Kayode IS A TRAITOR.

When these were happening the first son of Remi, Femi Fani-Kayode was only 5 years. He grew up to be a clone of his father. Like Saraki, Femi Fani-Kayode was also cursed by his father before his death. If you press me hard enough, I will tell you why when I handle an aspect of the story of this 4th Generation Fani-Kayode.

PoliticsFemi Fani Kayode - A Direct Antecedent Of His Father by membranus(op): 7:41am On Sep 18, 2021
Femi Fani-Kayode took over the real antecedent of his Father - *Chief S.B. Falegan* (now late)

By Toyin Akingbade
February 26, 2015. 11:50am

The pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Chief S.B. Falegan - the Atoye of Ado-Ekiti has again blasted Femi Fani-Kayode, son to the late Chief Remi Fani-Fayode for stepping into his father's shoe

Chief Falegan made this known in his New book Titled "MY YESTER-YEARS" Page 82-83 - read thus -

"I wish to mention three or four issues that were hatched and meant to destroy and eliminate me completely but for the grace of God. I have written my "Aide - Memoire for succeeding FMBN Managing Director." It is a summary of the problems of what I underwent in the FMBN and the battle I waged with a group of political rascals led by CHIEF REMI FANI-KAYODE who felt that once they were politicians, the opinions of others did not matter and that such people should be treated as slaves with no stake, and no opinions.

Falegan said apart from the selfish pursuit of greed, and personal enrichment at the expense of the country by late Remi Fani-kayode, he listed the incident he experienced with Late Chief Remi Fani-kayode who almost destroy my image and to, in fact, kill me.

Chief Remi Fanikayode, a stalwart of the defunct Action Group under the leadership of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and former Deputy Governor under the late Chief Ladoke Akintola's Democratic Party (a break-away Party from the Action Group) and later one of the top leaders of National Party of Nigeria (NPN) wrote a letter to me as the Managing Director (FMBN) to lend him N5 million for an unspecified purpose. I took the pain, out of sheer respect, to write to him to be more specific as to get the purpose of the loan. I also let him know that the limit of my authority for mortgage loan was not more than N1million; even then, I had to get the Board's approval before I could exercise that authority. Lastly, I suggested that he could write the FMBN Board directly (since they all belong to the same political party - the NPN) for assistance and that as thing stood, if the Board directed me to help with specific guidelines relating to my function within limits of mortgage financing, I would be willing to help.

After about six months' period of non-communication or response from him, I saw a petition against me from Chief Remi Fanikayode sent to my Board of Directors and the Federal Minister of Works and Housing, Dr. Wahab Dosumu. The accusation against me was my refusal to lend him the money mentioned above. He supported his accusation against me with spurious allegation that I was a die-hard UPN party supporter, who should not be allowed to hold any office under an NPN controlled government. He went on to falsely accuse me in his petition to the Board and my Minister that I used the Federal Mortgage Bank fund to finance "Ife Stores" at Ile-ife, his hometown. "Ife Stores" happens to belong to my sister, Chief Mrs Bola Adenuga (nee Bola Falegan, now deceased) married to late Prof. Ade Adenuga.

Ironically, this same "Ife Stores" caused a permanent scar between me and my sister, who out of ignorance and misinformation, felt I should lend money to her from FMBN to build "Ife Stores" - a purely commercial venture as against home-loan finance function of FMBN. I took her request to a commercial bank in Ibadan where I provided my personal surety for the loan to finance lfe Store.
I took two steps immediately I received a copy of Chief Remi Fanikayode's petition: I went to see Minister of Works and Housing, Dr. Wahab Dosumu with my letter of resignation as MD of FMBN. I stated my case before the Minister. He requested to know my next course of action and I told him I had my letter of resignation to hand over to him. To my pleasant surprise, the Minister said to me, "Chief, no you can't resign. One thing you don't know is that I have enough information about you as a man of integrity, hardworking and of unalloyed patriotism and commitment to whatever you do. I have a good report of you from Mr. Ola Vincent, the Governor of Central Bank. You see this is how the Yorubas destroy themselves and marginlise themselves from the government; so go back to your work. I have so directed the Board orally."

Thereafter I went straight to the Board, which was meeting at the time and they welcomed me with subdued word. To my surprise, the Board said Chief, don't be too upset. We in the NPN merely tolerate people like Chief Fani-Kayode in our Party for the spoiling role he had played in the Party. If Fani-kayode can betray Baba Awolowo, we had no cause to trust him.

The Central Bank Governor, Mr Ola Vincent later called me and advised me to take things easy. When the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade, Olubuse II called me that he wanted to bring the two of us together as Nigerian knew what is happening between us. I did not mince words in letting Kabiyesi know that I preferred not to meet with Chief Remi FaniKayode ever in my life time, otherwise if I ever stretched my right hand to shake his own, my right hand would turn into a cutlass and I would cut him to pieces. Indeed I never met him and I read about his death and burial in the newspapers.

Chief S.B. Falegan concluded that going through Chief Remi Fani-Kayode's rascal antecedents in the Nigeria Politics during the NPN, Femi Fani-Kayode is a real son of his father and the public should appreciate his lies otherwise, if Femi FaniKayode could say President Jonathan government is a bad omen to the country and thereafter he decamped to the PDP and people can see him with his re-twisted propaganda taking after his father's styles.

Ibkhaleel001:
PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO (OBJ) TREATMENT & COMING 2023

In the whole 8years of OBJ's administration he did not see a single Hausa/Fulani northerner worthy of appointment as Service Chief, IGP or DG (DSS). Victor Malu, Martin Luther Agwai, Jonah Wuyep, Luka Yusuf, Ibrahim Ogehi, then IGP Tafa Balogun, Musliu Smith, Sunday Ehindero, Mike Okiro up to the DG (DSS) Col. Aare (rtd), were his selected appointees to oversee our security architecture.

Where appointments were to be made from Kano or Sokoto (whole seat of Chaliphate) he would look for the Adamu Baikis, the Solomon Matankaris who are indegenous Christians of the area. If Hausas/Fulanis complained, Obj’s response was, “all the appointees were your people, brothers from the North”. Of course they were; he even used sme tactics to play a very dangerous divide and rule politics with northerners; his arrow - headmen, Jerry Gana & Solomon Lar were part and parcel of the Villa cabals, members of his kitchen cabinet who determined most appointment made by the government Agencies. Google all the very sensitive position then, there was no single Hausa or Fulani there. CBN, Joseph Sanusi later Soludo. Custom Buba Gyan, NNPC Edmund Dakoru, to mention just a few.

Never forget that OBJ flushed out more than 500 soldiers of Northern extraction, from the ranks of Major and above, who held political appointments during the past military administrations, including orderlies and ADCs. Those who survived his hammer, like Bamalli Nuhu were assembled and bombed in the mountainous region; between Benue and Cross River States.

Obasanjo’s civil service reform were mainly targeted at northerners who mostly, (80%) became victims; from NEPA,Maritime, NPA and Aviation etc. Northerners were major casualties. Similarly all the replacements that followed were from his kiths and kins, and his god sons.

Prior to 1999, more than 15 international airlines operate or had their routes to Kano, but Obasanjo made sure he decimated that to only 3 before he left. Very very fresh in our memories is how he stylishly killed all the Northern textiles, groundnuts and cotton pyramids as well as many other agronomic economies; particularly the poultry using the hoax claim of “birds flu” conspiracy that obliterated all major players in the sector, from northern region. He also deliberately opened our boarders for the importation of all kinds of agricultural goods, which tactically killed virtually all local industries in Kano, Kaduna, Gusau to mention just a few. He stated and ensured DIC and Peugeot and Steyr plants became comatose.virtually all critical northern enterprises were put out of business with deadly attendant consequences.

For example, in Kano alone there were more than 5000 factories / industries located in Challawa, Bompai and Sharada industrial estates. Before Obj’s tenure ended he made sure 80% of those factories folded up, and the remaining 20% were operating at half level, below minimal capacities due to his well designed, well executed, skewed economic policies.

Remember the housing, monetization and privatisation policies he used our people to execute? This program was conceptualised and well executed to basically empower his kiths and Kins to owned choice properties in Abuja and Lagos. The privatisation was used to catapult cronies and surrogates, as well as God sons, into multi-billionaires. People like Mike Adenuga, Fola Adeola, Jimoh Ibrahim, Jim Ovia, Chris and the Andy Ubahs, to mention just a few.

Most of these people were, prior to 1999, using night buses to & fro Lagos/Abuja. Incidentally within a span of short period, all were flying private jets, while the country, North in particular was rapidly sliding backwards. One can continue on and on; why the north and northerners tolerated all that, only God knows.

The current clamor for self determination by some states from previous regions are nothing but blackmails that, to me, are dead on arrival. Rather than experiencing the Obj treatment again, it suffices if every single region go its separate way. The north can not afford to make the 1999 blunder again. Democracy is a game of numbers; anybody who thinks he/she is competent to lead us should come out and contest. The north is not ready to concede to any blackmail.
Your submission is as usual filled with lies from the pit of hell against OBJ.

Where is the name of Dangote and Atiku who were the major beneficiaries of OBJ privatisation policies?

And most of those who you claimed were enriched by Obasanjo, like Fola Adeola and Adenuga, have been rich before he became president.

You were just manufacturing facts to suit your political lies.

But nevertheless I doff my cap for you, you are a good northern propagandist. You can easily paint the devil as a Saint, and vice versa.

By Dr Joe Abah - DG, Bureau of Public Service
Reforms". (C): Johnson Andrew, this is the Analyzed data based on population figures of each state.

THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF PUBLIC SERVICE REFORMS, RELEASED STATISTICS OF EMPLOYMENTS INTO OUR PUBLIC SERVICE.
THE RAW FIGURES PER STATE ARE

(A). EMPLOYMENT INTO THE PUBLIC SERVICE
NE with a population of 19.0m has 7,793
NW with a population of 35.8m has 8,806
SE with a population of 16.4m has 16,540
NC with a population of 20.3m has 17,661
SS with a population of 21.0m has 18,038
SW with a population of 27.6m has 19,620

To appreciate this figures, it is necessary to find out how many employees are taken from every 1 million people in each of the geographical zones.

The result is:
1st. SE has 1,009 Employees per million
2nd. NC has 970 Employees per million
3rd. SS has 859 Employees per million
4th SW has 711 Employees per million
5th NE has 410 Employees per million
6th NW has 246 Employees per million

Here we can see that South Eastern Zone has over 1000 people engaged in the public service of Nigeria in every 1 million Igbo people, whereas only 246 people are engaged in North West!
Remember that this is the Zone of the President of Nigeria.

Curiously South West, the Zone of the Vice President is the least in Southern Nigeria with the employment of 711 people in a million.
It is pertinent to see the trend as regards Political Office holders. Probably, those that lost out in the Public Service, are compensated with Political offices. Let's perform sample surgical operation on the political employees.

(B . POLITICAL APPOINTMENT
We all have the statistics of political appointees of the current Buhari administration.
NW has 51political appointees from 7 states
NC has 47 political appointees from 6 states
NE has 45 political appointees from 6 states
SW has 45 political appointees from 6 states
SS has 45 political appointees from 6 States
SE has 41 political appointees from 5 states
These translate to:
1st. SE: 2.50 appointees in a million.
2nd. NE: 2.37 appointees in a million.
3rd. NC: 2.34 appointees in a million.
4th. SS: 2.14 appointees in a million.
5th. SW:1.63 appointees in a million.
6th. NW:1.42 appointees in a million.
Alternatively:
1st. SE: has 1 appointee in every 400,000
2nd. NE: has 1 appointee in every 422,000
3rd. NC: has 1 appointee in every 427,000
4th. SS: has 1 appointee in every 467,000
5th. SW: has 1 appointee in every 614,000
6th. NW: has 1 appointee in every 704,000

Once again topping the list of beneficiary is South East with one political appointee for every 400,000 people. As if it is an intentional act, NW, from where the President hails has the least of 1 political appointees for every 704, 000 people while the figure for Osinbajo's Zone is 614,000 and is the least in the South.

THIS IS NOT MY DEFINITION OF "MARGINALIZATION" BEING PEDDLED BY THE IGBOS THAT ARE, IN FACT THE BIGGEST BENEFICIARY IN NIGERIA. FIGURES DON'T LIE.

What makes me laugh is when i see some Yoruba crying for the Igbos when the latter talk about Marginalization. They should be crying for themselves.
How can we believe you, who is a renown Buharidin?

You might be cooking up figures to defend your Master.

FFK deserves whatever name he's called by baba Obasanjo or any other person ! Is he not living up to those names ? Isn't he a shameless political prostitute that's ready serve even the devil himself for a plate of porridge ?

Now,how could any sensible person label a decent tribe like Yoruba as being treacherous or call them betrayals because of the actions of a character like FFK ? If that's right, then it is safe to label all Igbo as criminals or all fulani as murderous !

"A ki ta araile eni lopo" in the context where I used it has nothing to do with FFK and sadly,it is only those that are suffering from dyslexia that would not realise my point therein !

Iran Yoruba gangan lohun ta lopo,ki i se Fani Kayode ! Ro' nun e ti o ba je ojulowo omo oko Yoruba !
Moreover I don't believe there is any Yorubaman of integrity who has ever consider Femi Fani Kayode a serious human being.

PoliticsRe: Akintoye On UN protest: FG planted IPOB banner among Yoruba Nation agitators by membranus: 3:59pm On Sep 16, 2021
JoeEeL:
Baba Akintoye, this is a waste of time, trying to differentiate IPOB from Biafra.

Whatever you do, the Nigerian government also views we Yoruba nation agitators as terrorists. They almost tried to proscribe us last month. I know this is what you're trying to avoid but they still eventually will. Also remember they tried to proscribe Afenifere.

We know what you're trying to do: try to involve the Igbos into the NINAS struggle without them branding themselves as IPOB.

They can't denounce themselves baba, believe me. Once the Igbos are convinced about something, you can't stop them again... not to talk of a name they adopt.

MR AKINTOYE, IF YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T WORK WITH IPOB, THEN LET'S RUN YORUBA NATION ALONE.

Enough of all this left-right talk that you'll be calling on Igbos and everyone to join march and when FG do small threat, you'll start changing mouth.

It is hurting the image of we Yorubas as double-edged people. You want them to add up the numbers but you don't want them to come with their IPOB name.

Mr Akintoye didnt start like this and I know its that Mr Nnadi and that Augusta girl wey get sharp mouth dey poison this man mind because anytime you watch NINAS shows on Youtube, it is these 2 that are always vehemently against IPOB, Biafra and Kanu.

IPOB, we are sorry. I know they are doing this because a condition of joining the UNPO is that one shouldnt carry weapons against the state, regardless if the reasons are understandable or not. NINAS doesnt want to be delisted from UNPO which is why they do this IPOB dissociation from time to time.

IPOB, we are sorry once again but I know they are all working underground. Because when Akintoye said this thing the first time earlier this year, MNK subsequent broadcasts did not condemn it (like one would expect). Someone also raised the question on Simon Ekpa's show again sometimes in March or so, Ekpa also did not condemn it and said the understanding is intact.

So they know more than we know guys. Let's chill and not hate ourselves pls. Thanks for understanding my gallant Igbos. Please.
I, as a Yoruba Nation/Separatist agitator, was not happy too with Prof. Akintoye speech as I was reading through it.

I therefore heartily subscribe to your submission above. Why dissociating the Yoruba Nation from the IPOB separation struggles. We are all fighting the same war with the same enemy, though with different strategies, but almost with the same aims.

But like you said, there may be some deeper understanding between the two struggles which are not open to us.
