obinalihe: @ peleson ,you own father can't do better than T.A ORJI if he was to be the governor of Abia state...you can go to hell and burn to ashes if you are not satisfied with the achievement so far...you hatersWhy should he be satisfied with architecture from the 1950s? Have higher standards for a state and governor that's received over $US 6 billion the last couple of years with nothing to show for it. |
Ifeanyi Ubah is a rogue. Simple |
Kalu remains a big rogue and thief, who after 8 years as "governor", basically left the state more backwards than during military boy rule. |
ballabriggs: [s][/s]The truth is the truth. Our people are collectivley happy with the way Nigeria and its culture continue without change. "Showing" hope as some complacent peope would say, means attacking anyone that "attacks" the country Nigeria, even if it's in their own interest. The U.S. is correct, corruption is massive under GEJ. That doesnt say he alone is the reason, but he's part of the problem. The main culprit that the U.S. doesnt want to admit, although they know, is that the average Nigerian is corrupt, by involvement, by silence, or by "e no concern me". |
Well Edwin Clarke is basically a nobody. He is on eof many old men now suffering from arthritis in the same manner as Arthur Nzeribe. All the noise day in and day out, yet they will be begging for medical visa to treat upset stomach. Within the next 10 years they will all whither away and no one will remember them. |
Look, what are you people saying? There's nothing wrong with building modern things in your area, whether it's mall, zoo, or hospital. The problem is Thief Orji was rigged in as governor over 6 years ago with NOTHING to show as governor. He was installed to protect the looters at Okija shrine, and yet no one gives a dayum to slap this man when he is in public. Now he's campaigning on nairaland daily because his local advisors have told him " See O, they done abuse u finish for internet". Abia state receives almost 1 BILLION dollars annually in state allocation, so if properly done right, there should be 3 or four mega malls, a medical center, the biggest airport in the country self, new modern schools in every LGA (designed not by the local Nigerian architects, but world class layouts). But of course, its still a pipes dream. |
As a governor, how professional is this, that is buying luxury gifts for people, whethe rits 2face of daughter? No one apparently is buying cars for university students who are inventing things that can help AFricans to develop, or women in the market who have been selling groundnut for the kast 10 years of this "democracy". No wonder there is not much difference between Military rule and these inferior minded politicians |
6 years as governor and 1 "road" with zebra blocks. Well done Oga at the top |
Her father reportedly has cancer, so she's on the same path. Finish |
You guys have been reading too much Yahoo stories. Stop trying to copy with this rubbish and fix ur roads |
lol. nonsense |
Abia proprogandist are in love with Nairaland. |
Here we go again with Nigeria military this and that. Yes, Nigeria military is not among the top 10 or 20 worldwide, so people who are ashamed are trying to find refuge in limiting the competition to "Strongest in AFrica". LOL Even there, we aren't the top. BUt at least we can give away millions to terrorist groups under auspicious of Amnesty. |
Very good Fashola and Lagos. Theo Orji is there sleeping for the past 6 years |
Ohanaeze has been irrelevant for over 10 years now. They have so many spokespersons that any local journalist can find a story with "Ohanaeze" |
How long is Umeh going to be chairman? Everyone in office in this country can't let go of it. |
He "splashes" lol |
What are the other governors doing with all their state allocations? |
phineas: General Buhari has my vote, that of my friends, family and those I will hopefully beg and influence to vote for him 2015 except he endorses another candidate. You see the problem. Militarized brains fill this country, where old men from 1983 are still, over 30 years later, the poster boys for presidency. It's because we don't have a glorious history, or rather, have forgotten real leaders and have only looked at the recent military area for hope and example of leadership. That's too bad. |
nothing wrong with abuja being the capital, and frankly no one should be having restless nights trying to figure out why. Instead there are over 36 state capitals, some of which were regional and from older states, yet they still look like they hadn't been updated since 1960 (i.e Ibadan). Where are the stadiums, air ports, hospitals, univerisities, and other world class structures in this so-called giant of Africa. That's were you should be thinking along. |
If so called Nigerian leaders are not patriotic enough to develop their country by providing first class medical Hospital in each state of the federation, why would a hard working Diasporan invest his money in that country or make the mistake of coming back home for good? Politicians and their cronies needs to get it, it is very embarrassing for a country that generates billions from oil trade to allow her public office holders seek treatment abroad. Same hospital that serves and provides homeless man, illegal immigrants, prisoners basic treatment without a charge is same hospital that treat the president of the United States and the likes of Steve Jobs and Mark Zhukarberg.
tlops: Mandela was just discharged from a south African hospital, if he was a Nigerian he would have be discharged from a German hospital. Nigerians will come here and say "what is wrong with SA sef".For all those praying for this woman's recovery, I say that you are not serious. Instead, pray for the above posters, that they continue with excellent commentary that ought to be well seen among all you childish folks. I wonder what will happen when German and Saudi hospitals will start rejecting these rogues from entering their country. Saudi has already starting dealing with Nigerians during haij, so it's not out of the ordinary. WHat will happen with all these politicians and folks running to give birth in America since being a Nigerian citizen is worthless? Will they just die in this country or finally build good medical centers? Yar Adua was foisted upon the nation and died like an Arabian rug abroad. Yet, the leaders of the country, including the German hoping Senate Pres David Mark (who instead of giving GEJ a watch) can't create for the country 2 to 3 medical centers that even they themselevs could utilize. Nonsense. |
DOn't you wish people would use pure common sense. But of course, we still have idiots talking about IBB and/or Buhari for president, day after day, even when those guys were yesteryear dictators. What a country and what a people. |
Van snickers: Your Mates are discussing serious National Issues and all you can do rate the handsomeness of leaders! I shake my head for you.LOL. Tell that pikin to comot from here |
This is becoming a childish site. Everyday una dey post pixs of "who's hotter", and this one with pikin, and one Lagos red carpet. Dayum? HAve you guys forgot we still dont have constant power for dis COOOOOOUNTRY? |
The faceless and supposedly outraged military chiefs are cowards and unfit to be military chiefs. You don't go around acting like politicians when you are supposed to be professional soldiers. As soon as they are identified, they should be relieved of their offices and possibly court marshaled. Their wings must be cut before they start believing that they can fly. If you are in the military, you are trained not to be emotional like Dan Daudus,or offended by the actions of your superiors. You take orders and say Yes Sir and shut up!! That is what you are trained to do.
This shows that you are a fool. If your mother that carried you in the womb for 40 weeks was a victim of Boko Haram, then we should give her killer, and those protecting them your money right? There's a reason to have service chiefs, which ARE political appointments. They are to advice the president and carry out operations of security. They are acting very much in their capacity and have so far fought against any stupid amnesty for criminals. Now MEND, MASSOB, OPC, and all new groups can and should demand the same thing, and we'll see that Lord Lugard's cage would have finally expired a century exactly later. The Northerners already receieve the bulk of state allocations, federal projects, political appointments, senators, ambassadors, and countless other perks, and instead of stripping the governors who refuse to develop their states allocation, they want to take from the poor and give to these clowns even more loot. And befor eyou know it, this amnesty will buy even better bombs from Iran to use at UNILAG abi Moshood Abiola Uniy. |
See his face. So now common party members can take pictures with party flags as if they are governor? |
Absolute garbage. What happened to being yourself? |
LOL!!! So what does "Pastor" West have to say about Oyibo this time hahaha! |
Yobo is just a cry baby. He has already admitted he has a reputation to protect, and that's all its about. He's been to many Nations cups, has not won anything with all the "wahala" supposedly. Now comes Keshi with real "Fresh AIr", and what did Yobo do? He carried the ANC trophy without giving it up to his team mates to share. Nice one "Captain". You need to shut up and go into politics. There you can declare you strategy to change Nigeria and lead our long awaited revolution against the polticians and their surrogate pastors and mallams. |
In theory I agree with what she's saying. She needs to also add strict punishments for all those pastors who are not leading the struggle for a better Nigeria, but instead are buying jets and camps. Dayum |
Nonsense. If Keshi took this so-called Media Chairman's advice, then what would have happened if we didnt lift the cup? When Keshi was saying to the world that Africans should stop hiring quack Europeans as coaches, this chairman of media kini kor did not say anything. |
