LOL, Theo Orji my foot

Is Theo Orji even a Governor?

Is he not a thief rigged and re-rigged in, and is "governing" the worse state in the East? Yet where are Abia people and the protest?

I'm glad some serious minded people in the region are starting to call a spade a spade.

Enough with the siddon and look attitude.

I don't know about killing but I know that our God is not sleeping.
Holy mountain of fire member, You need to wake up and leave God out of this one for once

Evil Brain:
The judiciary's job is to interpret and uphold the laws made by the national assembly, not to make new ones. His honour needs to STFU and face his work. Maybe he should concentrate on reforming the corrupt judiciary in order to reclaim some of the respect they once had; or makng sure the PDP cannot buy another favourable decision at the presidential electoral tribunal; or ruling fairly on some of the many cases before the apex court. Leave lawmaking to the people elected for that purpose.

Why can't these people learn to play their position? If Nigeria's government were a football team, it'd have 11 strikers and no goalkeeper.
Mr Man, this is 9ja. We know what are leaders are "supposed" to be doing, but since 1966, have they done it?  You want us to "leave lawmaking to the people elected for that purpose", then you are an , simple.

Its time for corrupt leaders to pay their fair share, and any town or city, or state that could not deal with corrupt leaders should not receive a federal allocation either!!!

Sun of god:
Look how open they are about their scheme. . . . . .The constitution has been amended and they are already saying Putin will serve until 2024 (After which they swap again)

Unbelievable . . . . . . . . Not even Abacha could have conceived such a ploy yet alone be able to implement it.

We Nigerians like to believe we are corrupt - but we've got nothing on the 'White Man'.
Nonsense.

So this is why we should accept the fact that all our institutions (from Soccer to education, to Pastor to mallam, to police to Nigeria Airways) are failures right?

That Russia you read about is a bad azz country and if they like, they will tell GEJ, or even some of you morons favorite coupist-BUHARI, to shut up and they will shut up. Even for those Boko daredevils,  Putin could send 10 men to do the job, and remove the bedsheets they like to tie on.

SO unless you get on that serious level, abeg, SHARRAP
CrimeRe: 5 Igbo traders Killed For Failing To Recite Qu'ran by mensdept: 6:44pm On Sep 24, 2011
Sad indeed, but this is not new. In fact as far as 9ja is concerned, it's not even a Newsworthy story. Next week, another group of either Igbo or Christians will be shot or beaten black or blue and the madness called 9ja will continue. Theo Orji will still be a so-called elected governor, the sinators like Mr. Uba will still be there in Abuja, and aristo chicks will still hit up the nite clubs in Lagos by 1 am.

Its time for people to start being beat or shot at for a reason, like stalking a senator thats not doing shiyt, waiting for him to ride back to his mansion, and ambushing him. Then if you are captured, it will be newsworthy.

They open up Naija history books and all they know is Brigadier, Major General, Wing Commander, and have fallen in love with nonsense. PoliticsRe: The Revolution We Need by mensdept: 4:49am On Sep 22, 2011
rimms:
No Evolution Without Revolution
This should be in the minds and hearts of today's Nigerians. If all those so-called pastors would preach this, and the people themselves recited this daily, then maybe we can take that one big step forward.

Depilot:
I support revolution, but we must be very careful.
We can indirectly follow the foot steps of the Egyptians, where the military took over until the constitution was revisited and a better structured democracy was put in place.

I believe this is possible in Nigeria. All it takes is for a group of bright and courageous military officers from each regions (Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba) in the country to put a sensible plan together, execute the plan and deliver the leadership of the country only after our weak constitution is empowered and enforced, and a well structured democracy is in place.

I honestly do not believe that an average Nigerian is bold enough to pull what the citizens of Libya and Egypt were able to accomplished. We are not that strong, plus we love our lives too much.
Bold, sensible and aboveboard military officers are the only group in Nigeria that can execute a successful revolution.

Without the involvement of military a successful revolution will be very difficult to be accomplished. That is, without military involved revolution people like Tinubu, Odeli, Gbenga Daniel, Akala and others will steal our money until the return of Jesus.
We need the PEOPLE and not just the military to lead this revolution.

PoliticsRe: Can Boko Haram Lead To Nigeria's Disintegration? by mensdept: 4:21am On Sep 22, 2011
There was a report saying Naija will collapse by 2015, and looking at places like Lagos, Borno, and Abia state, even Ijaws fighting with Bini of all folks (lol), I'm sure it's very likely.

Something called Naija should had been partitioned in the 1960s, which was the then obvious and right thing to do, instead we had a bunch of cowards, crooks, and self-acclaimed kings (on all sides), who refused to seriously plan and chart the future for their people.

Boko Haram will continue to kill, bomb, intimidate, and govt will just appease them, as well as a round of applause from the Arab overlords that see Africans as foot soldiers (aka Libya) and nothing more.

But when the time comes that some stake holders are serious about dissolving the "country", do you think Boko and their backers would go along or simply tone down for a bit, because after all, do they REALLY want the non fanatics to be on their own?
PoliticsRe: Legislators Flee National Assembly Over Bomb Scare by mensdept: 4:11am On Sep 22, 2011
Boko Haram na wah. See how una dey halt our Sinators.

Since the swearing in, and for those 2nd termers, 2007, hardly any significant improvement in the lives of those they claim to represent, and now, they cant even be safe and secure in their multi-billion dollar Abuja structures lol. So you see folks, even if you steal, loot, and award yourselves million naira contracts, you cant even enjoy as your counterparts making only 70k in the Western world with developed infrastructure.

For medical checkup our rich thieves MUST go (and even die) abroad (some to the deserts of Arabia)

For the latest cars and trucks, these thieves MUST import from Germany, England, Yankee, or Japan

For the latest stadium construction, these thieves MUST contract to Germans, or even red dotted on the head Indians because there's no trust among local thieves

For world cup matches, these thieves MUST hire Lagerbeer, and wear ugly non-profitable soccer kits from Addidas

To travel to the West, these thieves have MADE everyone paddy British Airways, KLM, Emirates, and other foreign airlines who, if they like, can spray roach spray in your grandmothers face, or even deny her access into Saudi Arabia (haha Hausa), even though she's wearing a bedsheet on her freakn head.

For those Christians, some of them are even more Holy Holy than those whe brought them the faith, with a proliferation of Mountain of Fire Tabernacle, Isaac Generation,  Holy Temple of Gods Grace Academy, and all types of distracting, nation deceiving, and priority draining frauds, simply vecause they have watched some American pastor's performance via satellite TV.

Indiscipline is always our national team problem.
Its more than just indisicpline. Under the last NFA/NFF leadership, it was clearly the folks in glass house, who thought of changing the name from NFA to NFF as an accomplishment.

Look at the way we decide to hire Oyibo coaches a few months prior to the WORLD CUP for a record fee, while the world laughs at us and reinstates their belief that blacks are mumu.

Yes, Enyeama erred, and its good that he has been excluded from the next matches, but lets not be silly, he is one of the better players and should be brought back.

So far, not too impressed with the Siaone team selection, friendly match fixtures, and ANC qualifiers

PoliticsRe: Apga Set To Sweep Lagos Councils Election As Okorocha Storms Lagos by mensdept: 5:13am On Sep 16, 2011
I think its time for new officers to take over APGA. The party needs to become Naijas first organized and professional party. This could discourage a newly elected governor who's party is not fully in the majority of his state (or region) from running to another state in another region thats firmly in the pocket of a bigger party. Why not concentrate on your state or region (particulary ridding a state like Abia of its crooks occupying govt house) for some time while holding a convention to choose new officers.

PoliticsRe: Implications Of Amaechi/odili Reconciliation In Rivers by mensdept: 9:54pm On Aug 26, 2011
What has this rebound relationship got to do with advancing the richest state in the nation? Odili was there for 8 years, had extra oil money per month, and could not transform Port Harcourt (why are we still using that Oyibo name?) into a Sydney, Australia. Fashola in 4 years has done more than these two "I dont Know if I should claim Igbo" governors.

Funny that the supreme court came in after they rightfully awared Pete Obi his madate in Anambra, to claim that Amaechi was "Suppossed to be" the PDP candidate, and THEREFORE, he should be sworn in, when the poeple did not vote for him.

Yet, we accept it all, just like we accept the name of our country given to us by a white woman with no nyash, accept the borders that another white woman who's son will never be King, accept the name of our currency without knowing what it means and its ARABIC inscriptions, and Judges putting on gray-haired wigs because they think they are British descendants.

And you wonder why Boko is dealing with una everyday with no response.
