PoliticsRe: Why Have South-East Leaders Remained Silent About Boko Haram? by mensdept: 1:36am On Dec 31, 2011
T.A. Orji is nothing more than the average rogue abi thief that should have remained behind bars as he did even on election day 2007. Anyone that does not take a hard stand on this Warrant Chief either doesnt understand the meaning of being a Patriot, or is just an Agbaya.

Lets growup and be more serious for once

Yes, let the war begin, but at least lets start with the selected leaders in Abuja and the various state capitals. We can send them all to the guillotine, along with useless FAKE pastors and mallams who are deceiving the masses
PoliticsRe: 2012: Can Apga, Ppa Upstage Pdp In Southeast? by mensdept: 9:35pm On Dec 29, 2011
Its fair to argue that APGA should upstage the criminal element called PDP. But why only for SE states? ACN won outside of the Southwest. Do you guys know that APGA finished 2nd in Rivers State governorship elections (with of course all the rigging?)

As for Ekwueme, you guys must be joking or choking. Unless he wants to redeem himself before he departs this world, he has never been for the Igbo folks-NEVER.

My brother I have agreed with Mikeansy response. It makes sense now.  cool

But you do need Igbos like him, especially during war. I believe T.A. Orji and many like him including myself would fight fire with fire. People who will protect the Ndigbo at all cost.
I see you have modified this post, although for the worse. If Igbo have T.A. Orji on their side during a war with Lesotho, guess what, Lesotho wins.

Is this the same Orji who has destroyed a part of Igboland for 5 years and running, who went to APGA for a day and cowardly decamped to PDP?

Is this the leader you want to fight against known conquerors (Fulani) ?

If so, then my advice is to prepare a letter to the Red Cross
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Cautions Against Threat To Peace In Guinea Bissau by mensdept: 9:22pm On Dec 29, 2011
GEJ is a mere figure head. He was a figure head in Bayelsa, as Vice President, and now President. He has the backing of the West, because he will not do anything to disrupt the status quo of resource exploitation.

The PDP rulers are backing him because he will not do anything to disrupt the status quo of come chop money.

He has or had the backing of the Southerners (even ACN and APGA) during the so-called election as the fear of another Sharia-ist/ Fulani to rule would expose the truth of the imbalances in the country.

GEJ also has/had the support from the so-called HE's/fmr HOS/ and Generals (including fmr Governors and Sinisters) who knew PDP would protect their stolen boo.ty and status.

So all that was to say that GEJ has the support of the ruling class-domestically and internationally, as well as a largely complacent, childish, and cowardly Southern/Middle Belt populace.

The only tangible threat to him is Islamic fundamentalism, AKA Boko Haram, until folks decide to start Bokorizing their Ogun governors, Abia Senators, Delta fmr office thiefs, etc.

Why have South-East leaders remained silent about Boko Haram?

I think only one South-East governor, has mentioned anything concerning this group and that was T.A. Orji, but the rest have been silent on such issues.

For all of T.A. Orji's faults, when it comes to defending Igbos, he does not guard his words. Just remember what he said about Igbos being targeted in the North, during the election violence. Sometimes we need people like him.
I commend you for starting this topic which is good, but once again, you've proven why the average Igbo of today is politically irrelavant. Do you know that T.A. Orji has brought more misery to the very state he has been selected to rule than all the Boko Harams bombings?

DO you know that all the so called selected leaders of Abia state were returned back for another four wasteful years and you guys have not decided to Bokorize them?

So no, we dont need people like him.

Nonsense

First of all, she stands a true first lady, one that never benefitted from thugs called military men in khaki, that took the banana republic from the British and turned it into the Worlds funniest video, unlike the current Dame, the former Yar Adua, and the rest of the lot.

In the Western world, and even in the Arab world, things work well, and thats largely because they decided not to over copy others and put their own culture as inferior.

The average Southernor carrys himself as if he's a white man, loves the EPL as if his grandfather founded Chelsea, and goes to a Pastor who's training came from watching Oyibo pastors on TV.

The avergae Northernor has totally alienated his true Hausa abi Fulani (for example) history and way of life in preference of Turbans, Bedsheets, and names that have nothing to do with Kano, Sokoto, or Zaria. He wants to out-Arab the Arab man himself (how insulting) and now these Boko boys, instead of trying to develop their towns like the ARabs in Dubai, are now dare devil Muslims lol.

The Jews returned to land and were aided by the Government. Where have you provided for the millions to stay? How have you arranged for food? How have you arranged for their kids to be assimilated into schools?

The idea of everyone coming home is utopian and we all wish it could happen but the only way it can work is if there is a conference and subsequent agreement by the different Nations in Nigeria to stay apart, then funds can be made available for such a purpose.
The federal government cannot make provision of funds for that purpose as the Isrealis so the two situations are different. The funds needed for such resettlement would be huge and I doubt any state government can handle it.
Nonsense.

How many Northerners do you find in Akwa Ibom, Enugu, or Ondo State? Those Southerners that you claim were born in the North, and their parents born in the North did not just see this violence for the first time. Its been there even before "Nigeria" came, and indeed, many in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, saw the light and relocated from that wanna be Islamic state called Northern Nigeria.

Let me tell you something. If there is a national census, and the Northerners say they dont want religion nor ethnicity to be part of it, guess what- IT WONT BE A PART OF IT.

2nd, if all the Southerners came home, or all the illegal Mexicans were booted out of Yankee, guess what, all those crooks choppin money in the home states will have their days numbered, because desperate measures will ultimately call for desperate you know what. (Think the Biafran War and Russian Revolution).

No, Nigeria hasnt even caught up to Morocco or UAE, so how can you expect us to catch up to Queen ELISA? Even with all our borrowed culture (i.e Port HARCOURT, VICTORIA Island, white wigs for Judges, big hats for women to wear in church, British Airways instead of Naija Airways, premiership based soccer players {even though we cant qualify for ordinary ACN), we are still those of the Niger-Area.

The best advice for this chick is to organize a movement to arrest those who have held the people of this country to ransom (Heads of States, Senators, Governors, Pastors, Mallams, Heads of Industry, those who fly in from abroad to flaunt their money) and put them ALL on trial by their peers suffering in their towns.

Those found guilty should consider a fate similar to that of the  french guillotine. (look that up if U dont know)

These people were mostly born there. There parents were most likely born there and have been living there for decades. They have built homes and businesses there. Do you think its easy to just up and leave?

Its not the same as people who have family in the south and just decide to seek employment up North.  Those in that category wont waste time to relocate back to the south and in fact, most have. But the Situation of the first group, is difficult. Where do they stay, what do they do? What happens to things they built with their families over the decades?
Bullshyt. The Jews lived in Europe for HUNDREDS of years, and finally relocated back home. Now because of that history, countries like India, Czechslovakia, Yugoslavia, and USSR did not wait for HUNDREDS of years to do the common sense thing, and partition to spare misery. Countries like Croatia and India are better than Naija at this moment, even though they dont have the so-called wealth we have.

The point is people need to stop tying Gele and wake up. Those who decide to remain in the North/hostile region, despite the overwhelming evidence of violence, should not run anywhere from now on. Either you leave permanately, or live in the north permanately.

Why? Relocate to where? Before Naija was dashed independence, this shyt called Christian killings has been happening, yet Southerners/Christians still decide (like childish goats) to go back to the North.

These folks should stay in the north and fight. Any Christian from the South that decides to own property in the North (including Abuja) should be awarded the title OYO (on your own).
^^^Regarding "WHO" the Nigerians are that will initiate the change that will be the catalyst leading to a national socio-economic/political rebirth: well i can't say i know, but i DO know "WHO" wouldn't initiate said change, and that's Ndigbo. Every tribe has -in one way or the other- felt the negative effects of being in the same country with these murderous leeches, but i guess they're waiting for Ndigbo to bell the cat again so they can elbow everyone else out of the way and grab any 'spoils' available. They're going to have a long wait, that much i know.

Another problem we face are the elite and those close to Govt/Power (like the contractors/rent seekers/azzlickers/etc, found in every tribe) that wouldn't want the status quo to change, as that would mean a probable end to their ride on the gravy train.

The option open to Igbos and our cousins/friends in the South-South and Middle-Belt is to support Jonathan as best we can, as the brood of Vipers are right now 'gathering at the gate'. You can guage their hatred and resentment from their posts/threads on this website. I'd like to see how well they'll cope with the present security/economic situation when saboteurs (in the name of one Nigeria) are to be found in the security services (eg, Border control,SSS and Army), and possibly in Govt as well. There are things and actions Jonathan could take tomorrow and he'll get a handle on all this evil going on in the name of trying to make the country ungovernable, but his hands are tied in the name of 'federal character' and 'one Nigeria'.
I doubt that the "Igbo" are going to initiate any change. For over 40 years, what changes have they initiated themselves? A few positive moments (Mbakwe, soccer, movies) but thats pretty much it.

Those who an actually make a change are:
1) The minorities (Delta region, Middle Belt)
2) Islamic militants trying to gain attention and favor from their Arab idols
3) The West (aka US or A)

Igbo and Yoruba are today the most complacent groups in Africa, who have totally repanded themselves as party goers (OWAMBE), or wanna be American Blacks.

The only way for this country to seriously analyze itself and its origin (Niger+Area= thanks Mrs. Lugard ) is for a series of catostrophic events to occur and hit us straight in our childish and complacent brains.

While we continue to copy American pastors, dressing, rap music, slang, wearing white wigs claiming to be judges, and import till we drop, the world is leaving us behind in the trash, where we deservingly belong.

Your philosophy is very simple, and would save the people that are entrapped in the jungle called Nigeria/Nigger-Area/9ja/British Protectorate-EPL Worshippers of Naija 2011 and counting.

There's no country in the world that would have the resources and manpower found in this country that would continue to carry on day to day with the amount of corruption, cowardice, childishness, and complacency as Nigerians.

Even with the spread of technology and news, a crowd of 5000 protesting or rioting would make headline news all over the world, and put pressure on the govt to not even use force LOL.

Unlike the instabilities of the 60s in which the Tivs and Middle Belters that then were brave, the Biafrans, the Minorities were largely shunned and somewhat "secretly" denied coverage and fanfare in preference to Vietnam and the Middle East

Yet, our people are more concerned with tappn azz, wearing gele, asoebi, importing American "End of Discussion" (on which road I dont know where they'll drive it through) and watching a league in a country that 'light dey (EPL)

And for all the guys clamouring for homebased players, I put you down as hypocritical if you do not attend NPL matches every weekend. My darling Enyimba lost the FA Cup final to Heartland FC on Sept 25th at the Teslim Balogun Stadium here in Lagos. We didn't see many fans there. Infact they were at their neighborhood viewing centres watching the Yak score against Arsenal or so!

In that game, I and my guys identified Valentine Nwabili, Uche Kalu, Bath Ibenegbu as potential Eagles amongst others. Keshi will look in the direction of some of them soon. Don't forget he gave Jude Aneke his first call up to the national team.
