Which books do I read, please tell me? I don't want to read some books and you tell me that the authors are biased.
That is left for you to decide....
... Just remember history was/is written by the Victors.

Enlighten me sir, I do not know the problem. We are talking about Britain here and not Biafra.
Go and read up on history, then you can decipher what we are passing through and where we are heading.

What was the problem the amalgamation was supposed to solve?
The same problem Biafra wants to solve, in the opposite direction.

The amalgamation was not to solve problems but for Britain's selfish interest. You need to read this book ' there was a country' by chinua Achebe. Honestly everyone needs to get a copy of that book and read to digest its contents.
It still was to solve a problem, I didn't say your problem.

Do you think this Biafra will solve "my" problem?
No, it intends to solve a problem from the Igbo point of view, same as the amalgamation of Nigeria solved a problem from the British point of view.

Besides, which country was founded by Democratic consensus by referendum?

The Creator is just that, Creator.

Since you are the Creator of this thread, Are you God?

God is a creation of the Creator.

That is because Governor Udom, like every other politician, knows we are a people suffering from collective amnesia, that after the initial uproar everyone would mind their "busyness" and things would return to normal.
Christianity EtcRe: Is It Right To Start A Church In Response To Unemployment? by menxer: 8:21am On Jun 04, 2017
All things works together for good.

Opening a church would fulfill your needs for income and the needs of those looking for where to sing, dance and hear some motivational fear laced talk.
PoliticsRe: "The Goals They Want To Achieve With New Biafra" - Tanko Yaksai by menxer: 8:10am On Jun 04, 2017
The future is buried in the past.

Why were we brought together into one country, Nigeria?
Why do some people want to regroup into another country, Biafra?

The amalgamation was to solve problems then, which succeeded and created new ones which Biafra thinks to solve by breaking up Nigeria.

Have we thought of the solutions to the problems breaking up Nigeria would leave in its wake?

I don't even understand what your are saying, to right to the left. Je ne comprend rien. The north being ultra conservative has absolutely nothing to do with what I am saying. We should preserve our cultural values, and language. Look foward but don't forget where you are comming from. You yoruba people will always try to twist things and put words into people's mouths, all for political gains.
Well, why do you think they use Hausa language in teaching in schools there?

Does language not have cultural value?

You should try defending your opinion in a social discourse without recourse to tribal taunt that is uncalled for.

Besides, I am a Nigerian of Ibibio extraction.

That is not what I am talking about. Look at Japan, despite all the high rise building and technological advancement, they still do not let their culture die, in fact the Emperor Akihito, is the custodian of the Japanese culture and language, they know where they are going but still do not forget where they are comming from. How about Qatar, Thailand, Britain, I think Holland, Denmark, Sweden, even Morocco and Jordan, arent these countries developed? But the king or queen is very much alive.
But that is exactly what you are saying, those countries you mentioned have been able to adapt their culture to fit their prevailing progressive mindset of today or is it adapted their progressive mindset to fit their culture? But, which ever way, they are not conservative in their thinking or reactive in their doings.

One has to organise himself according to his custom. So that you don't throw away your traditional aspect of life.
That's exactly what is holding back northern Nigeria from developing, despite the fact that they control or always want to be in control of the federal government and its resources all of the time, their traditional conservative views on certain aspect of life, which is at variance with the rest of the country's progressive views.

There is an organogram that IPOB released about three or four months ago. That organogram is the foundation and all Biafrans agreed, both Massob and IPOB members, it isa parliamentary system with checks and balances everywhere, ie there will be a president and a prime minister, the prime minister is the head of government and the president is a ceremonial president, the PARLIAMENT ELECTS THE PRIME MINISTER FROM AMONG THEMSELVES, THEN THE PRESIDENT CONFIRMS HIM OR HER, THE PRESIDENT WILL BE ELECTED BY THE TRADITIONAL CHEIVES. Every Nation within Biafra controls its own territory with thier OWN laws and their own parliament and is independent from the others or the central government, only they cannot have thier own embassy or currency or army, THEY WILL DO THEIR OWN THINGS, CREATE AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE LGA AS THEY DEEM FIT AND WILL SOURCE FOR FUNDS ON THEIR OWN, IF UNEMPLOYMENT GOES OVER 10% THE PRIME MINISTER RESIGNS! I wonder where the fualty foundation is, is it not the same as a country like Italy or Japan? Just that here we have not one king but several that will choose who becomes their head chief.
The content of the document is quite large so I wish you will go through it for tourself, for this is how I understand thr little I can remember.
So Biafra is going to run a confederato - Parliamento - traditionalo - presidential system of government?
Very indigenously ingenious.

Easier said than done. No matter who elects the president, money will always play a role in the government.

Those who have stolen from Nigerian will be influential and turn Biafra into another corrupt and violent country which they gain from.

As long as there are idle youths and money bags, They will turn the system around to their advantage.

What happens when a state decides to pull out of biafra?

EducationRe: Where Are The Dullards In Your Class? by menxer: 1:31pm On Jun 03, 2017
seguntijan:
Unfortunately, Nigeria Education is not a true test of how smart or dull you are. If you had asked about crammers I would have used Nigeria Education to judge. The reason why some best student in Nigeria class don't do well after school is that the school system has killed their 1. Creativity Skills 2. Decision Making Skills 3. Analytical skills. All subjects/courses thought should be structured in this way but so unfortunately we don't have it yet. that's why most firm goes abroad finding graduates that has those 3 skills, even as an entrepreneur you need those skills to survive. that's why Bill Gates could come up with Microsoft (creativity skill), analyse the feasibility and viability(Analytical skill), then drop out since he is convinced on his idea(Decision making Skill), same applies to Mark, Steve and all great men. Even firms recruit base on that because they need to keep improving that's why most investment banks will keep watching out for MBA certificate from abroad.

We need to do something different, our style of education was useful in the INDUSTRIAL AGE (1960-1995), but we're now in INFORMATION AGE. that's why there's that wide range of unemployment in the country. I have a dream of becoming the Minister of Education.... SO HELP ME GOD.
Surprisingly, tomorrow (being a sunday) the same sermon of that "new" "kingdom of God is at hand" would be preached and when we look at the present day reality, that "new" Kingdom is the kingdom of information already at hand, though "is passing away" will hold away for a few thousand years.

"Untill you find and do what you are good at and succeed at it, you are a dullard."

you summed everything up bro. in other words no one is dull, the enemy is yourself, many never pay attention to their strength and weakness, plenty de do folo-folo. once you get to know your strength and weakness and find the best way you can exploit them, then you can start talking of fulfilment and beauty of life.

CelebritiesRe: Stop Calling Dancers Prostitutes, Dancer Kaffy Begs by menxer: 12:27pm On Jun 03, 2017
It depends on the definition of who a prostitute is.

If "sexual" activity is replaced by "any" other activity, we are all prostitutes.

So I will redefine prostitute as "a person who engages in an activity for payment."

This is borne from the fact that a prostitute by standard definition offers his/her body in service or be serviced for a fee. We all offer ourselves one way or the other for a fee.

So We are the prostitutes.

PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu And His BIAFRA by menxer: 12:15pm On Jun 03, 2017
Well said.

Biafra is refounded on hate, which is a more violently reactive emotion than love, fueled by a sense of superiority and victimization.

I subscribe to the restructuring of Nigeria, because as much as the North depends on the south for oil the south depends on the north for food.

No, a structure where states have their own constitution, with a regional development framework and minimal interference from federal Government. Federal governments will look to states and regions for allocation not the other way round. The power at the center is reduced drastically and it becomes less attractive. We save the money we use to overfeed the Senate and reps , and invest it in infrastructure and development of states.
Is it God that would do that for us?
We are the ones that adopted the federal system as we have it, now that we are no longer comfortable with it, we are still the ones that would and should change it.

By the way, changing the federal structure as we have it is not synonymous with Biafra.

Nope. Since they said Igbos are after their resources, the question now is, are they or the Igbos in charge of it now?

Igbos were just business people like they did all over Nigeria. So how come Igbos were not in control of their resources then and now.

I don't even support the Biafra agitation but true federalism. Igbos have enough resources and skills to develop as a region.

I don't know why there is need for SS, let every region develop .We will benefit from each other as neighbors.
You know what? It was not God that created the three regions, neither was it God that created six geopolitical zones or the states, but men as a function of political and economic expediency.

Are you calling for the old regional structure that favored the major tribe in each region as it were?

The problem is this attitude of hate and division along too many lines that pervades our national discourse even though we claim to be religious, which itself is a dividing factor.

Oh! So this Biafra thing is actually about the oil resources in the Niger Delta?
