The Pastor only stated a standard; there are different standards people set when it comes to partner selection. Since Biblical times, marriage has been consensual. Both men and women have been setting standards and choosing whom they like.

He later died on the way to hospital. That sh*t had me sad for days. I usually thought it was only people who struggle financially that opted for suicide. Never thought rich people too do that sh*t.
