googi:That would be a self-prophecy! Except in his case soja finally backed off and left him alone to his agidi. ![]() |
mrvitalis:Have you ever seen Zik wear Igbo traditional attire? He always dressed in Yoruba dansiki and agbada. Have you ever heard of Zik institute any social development scheme or program for his people...or even for the country? Awo had many. He pioneered radio, television and universal primary education in Nigeria. Have you seen any industrial zone in East, and were they created by Zik? Awo had many industrial zones and even social welfare programmes in West. Awo pioneered Cocoa Cooperatives and pricing boards across West and also started Oodua Industries. Which market influence or investment programme did Zik create or left as legacy in East? Please educate on Zik's political, educational, social, economical influence in East. |
Those who survived the flogging should be flogged again for stewpidity and ignorance. |
healthserve:This is bullshyte! This the fear you missioners use to enslave ignorant people. Try and put curse on a Sango or Ogun worshipper, or an Oya worshipper. I dare you! You play on people ignorance. Let this pastor try that shit on a Yoruba deity worshipper, dem go show am say power pass power. There is no one who is not a man of God...or woman of God. |
healthserve:Please, dont associate this fake pastor with Yoruba Ashe. What he uttered is not Ashe. In fact what he uttered is very risky on his own fate... |
healthserve:What, or who is a prophet? What makes someone a prophet and another person not.....? In other words, is there some exam or certification paper that tests a person's knowledge in a body of skills for ministering? |
This admission by Garba Shehu is powerful. He did not deny Issa Funtua's presence in the emissary team. In what capacity did Garba Shehu and Issa Funtua go to negotiate peace with a citizen arrested on charges of insulting the president and planning a insurrection to topple government? First, I know his account is untruthful, but lets assume it is....should the State be negotiating with those arrested for treason? Second, If indeed their visits preceeded his charges then what was his arrest based on? Third, According to him the visit was initiated by a fraternal group of media operators looking out for their brother. Garba Shehu acceeded their request and went to intervene. He was not legally obligated to do that. Now that a court order and bail has been ordered there is legal mandate to release Sowore unconditionally...that means no need for negotiation. So why isn't Garba bringing his political clout behind the legal order and intervene a second time to get his release? What is he waiting for...? |
mrvitalis:Awo is who Zik spent his lifetime emulating. ![]() Awo led, Zik followed... |
healthserve:Good! Are you a prophet? |
1Sharon:If i list top ten social ills that is oppressive in society the commercialization...or "monetization" of religion will sit in the top rank. It is bad that government is oppressive and self-preserving but the institution of faith one would run to for hope and relief is a worse predator than the rulers we fear. |
healthserve:Thanks for setting records straight, I appreciate people that love and speak to facts. On a separate note, and in line to topic, how many prophets do we have in Nigeria gaan? Here in Lagos, one multi occupant, multi story building can have five churches and more than three prophets. Not to talk of the street.... Whats going on? |
I saw a news today of a prophet predicting outcome of Anthony Joshua's fight. How many prophets do we have in this country, and what is their mission? |
engrsyer:When you hear "anonymous", "reliable source", "protected source"....the news might be taken with a pinch of salt. When names are disclosed....there is truth to it. ![]() |
okpalaAnambra: ![]() All Igbo people know their Governor in Anambra is a foreigner. A true Igalaman. Anyone with different opinion is free to argue with these pictures of Obiano compared with an Igala monarch. Look at the leopard skin - an Igala traditional culture. The dress style of the drummers - Igala tradition. Even the drum - Igala styled. The red hat - Igala origin.

More than likely Orji Kalu is amongst this crowd. As a title holder, the Dan Baiwa of Daura he ought to be there. |
FG has now walked into a dead-end on this issue. |
