According to controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu, he saw to the reconciliation of Wizkid and Davido.
Read what he wrote on Instagram below;

I brought @wizkidayo and @davidoofficial together through Prayers...⏰ Yes, you can ask them, they are both my boys, they are like my younger brothers. I am not just the biggest actor in Nigeria, i also pray a lot too, when i told some people last week that @wizkidayo and @davidoofficial are going to perform together on the same stage they laughed, even some of my celebrity friends thought i was joking, but i know what i was saying. You see when you are the biggest actor in a country like Nigeria, especially the only one that has ever gotten the attention of an A List American celebrity, there are some things you do that you don't really have to advertise it to the world. if am not so big an actor, i wouldn't have gotten the attention of a big A List celeb in far away America, its the grace of God over my life and not by my own power or strength.

Politics / Fuel Scarcity: NNPC Sets Up War Room by metronaija: 12:00pm On Dec 25, 2017
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said it had activated the Fuel War Room comprising of team members from itself, the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), and Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF), with support from the security agencies to bring the current crippling petrol scarcity across the country to an end.

Dr. Miakanti Baru, Group Managing Director, NNPC told journalists in Abuja on Sunday that the war room will ensure effective products penetration across the length and breadth of the country.

He said while the NNPC would naturally focus on increasing the volume of products on offer, the DPR, PEF and PPRA have scaled-up monitoring activities to ensure seamless loading and dispensing of fuel nationwide and to specifically ensure deliveries to designated stations and sales at the approved retail price of N145/litre.

While expressing empathy and strong solidarity with members of the public over the lingering challenge in accessing petroleum products across the country, the NNPC also reeled out multiple measures to end the unfortunate situation before the end of the year.

Baru told journalists at a media briefing and follow-up tour of some fuel stations in Abuja on Sunday that measures were already in place to bolster the current fuel supply and eliminate the extraneous factors that have led to the persistent petrol queues.

He said within the last two weeks the national truck out capacity had been jerked up to an average of 1,500 trucks, translating to 52 million litres per day which is much higher than the normal consumption of 850 trucks per day across the various depots in the country.

Also, the Corporation has emplaced a 24-hour loading and sales operations in all depots and NNPC Mega Stations across the country while marketers have been instructed to do same.

Dr. Baru emphasized that though the official landing cost of petrol as at the moment stood at N171.40k per litre, the official government approved pump price of N145 per litre remains intact.

On the volume of products available for supply, the NNPC GMD informed that 13 vessels laden with over 650 million litres of products were currently discharging their contents at the sea port while additional vessels have being lined up to berth early January 2018.

He said 814 million litres of petrol were currently being injected into the system to guarantee nationwide elimination of fuel queues before the end of the year.

Representatives of DPR, PEF and PPPRA at the conference registered their agencies’ resolve to work with the NNPC to restore sanity in the supply and distribution of petroleum products.

Politics / No Money For Christmas, Families Cry Out In Yenegoa by metronaija: 7:53pm On Dec 19, 2017
Barely a week to Christmas, some families in Yenagoa are expressing concerns over lack of money which has made it impossible for them to provide for their households to celebrate the season.

Those who spoke told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday, in Yenagoa, that the period will be short of the usual merriment due to lack of money to buy enough food and clothing.

Mr Edutimi Banigo, a civil servant, in the state Ministry of Commerce, said that he could not afford to buy anything for his five children, because of nonpayment of November salary.

According to him, people are expecting their December salary, but we are still waiting for November salary.

“Things have been tough, when you go to the market, the cost of goods keep increasing on daily basis so I cannot buy any new wears for them, all I can do is to manage and feed them.

“I am just a civil servant, my salary is not big and I have five people to feed which is a difficult task for me, but by His grace, He will see us through this season.

“So I have decided to save to enable me pay their school fees and forget about buying new clothes for them.

“They will have to use the clothes they have for now, especially as the second hand clothes known as “Okrika” are expensive also, so it’s really tough for many families this year,” he said.

Similarly, Mr Livinus Kai, a businessman, told NAN that his concern was how to feed his family adequately instead of buying new clothes or some gifts for his children.

“The children may not understand the economic situation, but I have to explain to them as it is a big issue not being able to buy them fine stuff to celebrate this festive period.

“My priority is to feed them well,’’ he said.

Also, Mrs Judith Aprela, a self employed, said that in previous years, it was possible for members of her family to shop and bond together, but such activity cannot take place this year due to the harsh economic situation.

“I have to search their boxes to pick out some good clothes and dry-clean them for them in preparation for the Christmas celebration.

“They have been crying for Christmas gifts and I have explained that I don’t have money to buy anything for them.

“I was amazed when my six-years-old son told me to go to the bank and get money to buy Christmas gifts for them,’’ she said.

Politics / FG Orders Arrest Of Marketers Who Hoard Petrol by metronaija: 11:59am On Dec 19, 2017
The Federal Government has ordered security agencies to arrest petroleum marketers who purposely hoard products to create the artificial scarcity currently being experienced.

This is even as oil marketers have been warned to desist from hoarding the product or risk being arrested by industry regulators who have been detailed for enforcement.

The order was disclosed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in a statemnet issued on Monday in Abuja.

NNPC spokesman, Ndu Ughamadu, who signed the statement said that the warning followed the uncovering of 144 oil tankers filled with petroleum products in Kano.

According to him, government has intervened in an industrial action embarked upon by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) over labour disputes with NECONDE Energy Services Ltd.

“NNPC warns marketers not to hoard products as law enforcement agencies, working with industry regulators, have been detailed to take appropriate measures against any defaulter.

“The Corporation further assures that there are enough petroleum products to keep the nation wet,” Ughamadu said.

He urged motorists and other consumers of petroleum products to resist the temptation to go into panic buying.

“NNPC wishes to state that relevant government agencies are in consultation with industrial unions to arrive at an amicable resolution of issues over which there are threats of industrial action,” he said.

The Federal Government has also waded into the matter, appealing to leaders of PENGASSAN to shelve its strike over the sack of workers by NECONDE Energy Services Ltd.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent reports that queues, which eased some days back, have now returned at fuel stations in the Federal Capital Territory.

With Olamide changing the venue for his concert OLIC 4 to a much bigger one, many are of the opinion that he is scared of Phyno as the latter had two successful soldout concerts at huge venues at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu.

In an exclusive chat with Showtime, Olamide said he is not in competition with Phyno.

In his words;

“I’m not competing with Phyno, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and I’m just living my own dream. I’m 100% excited because this is something I’ve been looking forward to for over three years now; it’s always been about doing it big, something beyond the ordinary, giving back to the people and spreading love.
