That's an excellent architect. Attention to details. There is too much cut and paste in the industry. In most cases, no trouble shooting of design concepts before delivering to clients.

I'm of the opinion professionals should not be lazy. There is again too much finish and go mentality in construction. Cool down, check and check again before delivering your work to clients. Architecture is not only about bling, bling 3D rendition, but functionality is key.

functionality can never trump personal choice. From what I understand, the owner of this house is an architect and he designed every single part of the house according to his choice. Unfortunately he doesn't reside here and that's why he modifies it according to our clime.
