spyder880:having seen this guy work, I can tell you he's good at his job. It's rare to find someone who takes pride and work with jokes under sun |
The foundation. It's actually deeper than this. Took this picture earlier today. The hole is almost 5ft deep
|
folmus:you're welcome |
Martini101:I was with him yesterday and today on site. Man is so down to earth |
We left the foundation uncompleted yesterday cause the soil there is the hardest anywhere I have worked. Today, my workers completed it and asked that I let them go home to rest. It wasn't funny at all. On Monday, work will start on the doors and the casting of the foundation as everything is set for it |
Toma2:I didn't at any point feared if he will hold up his end of the deal. I paid him completely upfront without a bit of doubt. Frauds have a way of outing themselves. You just have to trust your instincts and observe closely |
Today,we dug the foundations. By tomorrow,we start casting it. Enugu soil is the toughest I have seen. Everywhere is stone pebbles |
Toma2:sure he delivered. Although there was issue with the delivery. Paid the driver to deliver straight to my address only for him to stop at the park. I had to spend extra 10k to get them. I already bought new battery and oil to change the one that came with it. Although the generator is yet to start. I don't know what the issue is but I believe it's a very minor something. The generator neat die. People were surprised how I could get such a sweet deal |
Anything to make Nigerians feel that we owe them herdsmen anything. If the numbers above are factual, then it's a very big business and market which means the players in the field should invest in the business starting with modernizing it like it's done elsewhere. They don't need government intervention via RUGA because they can afford to invest and recoup their funds. |
eemjay17:you bought a brand new generator and you want to start playing with the workings. Why not enjoy it for some months before the Nigeria mechanics will start working on it. The noise might be a turn off but calling another mechanic after the first one will be heartbreaking. But you can sell it though |
Toma2:I should be taking delivery this morning. Driver couldn't make it here in time yesterday |
The materials on site
|
Moved around town and familiarized myself with my new environment. Checked out the welders around to see how they work and get friendly with them. I might be needing their help. Something about working on site is that your tools might fail and you need to fix it. You will be needing a local help to do such |
Beframia:thanks for joining us here. Just got to site and trying to familiarize myself with the environment. Work starts tomorrow morning |
KINGKONG:LoL. Me snapped it up quick like sharp shooter |
I was mobilized on Wednesday and we're moving to site right now with materials for the standing tank.
|
Details of the job are 25ft tank stand for six(6) 500 gallons of water. The materials to be used are: 6 by 3 H channel 3 by 1½ H channel 2" angle iron. The rest of the materials are 1" by 4ft foundation bolt 10mm base plate. |
To the glory of God, I have been made a part of an ongoing project in Enugu. The project is being handled by our own engineer Spyder880. I'm to do the iron works needed in the building. They include standing tank, exterior doors, stair rails, and balcony rails. I will still be constructing a rolling gate at the said site but that will be later though. Here's the link to the project https://www.nairaland.com/6173835/enugu-hilltop-6-flats-2 |
heniford2:my son I will advise you to read because the world is for people with knowledge. There's a center in each state of the federation |
I'm happy to announce that I have been made a part of the team working on this project. I will be bringing materials and my team here tomorrow. We will be doing numerous jobs here but will start with the tank stand |
OChimex:Messi fans and trying to stay logical. So if another man's business is selling tobacco and nicotine,he should be cool with it |
Macsjebs:for where. There's only but one GOAT and he's tall. Argue with your ancestors |
We grow up,we learn and unlearn things. That is how you evolve and become a better person. Just because you made wrong choices earlier doesn't mean you have to stick to them. Anyway I drank fanta today sha |
spyder880:thank you for doing this |
Ohraybs:he rejected deals from coke and Pepsi because he believes they're not good for him and he wouldn't give it to his fans. As for the goat, let him add the $4bn the GOAT wiped off from coca-cola |
Fkforyou:you wiped off $4bn from my company worth and I spend $500m to ensure you drink four bottles at each public interview. That's a good deal and punishment |
ghenghen23:the government has no business in running financial venture. They can regulate and ensure that the interest of the masses is protected. The financial sector will enploy masses and pay taxes while making returns to the government. The inefficiency of Nigeria airways and nnpc is still fresh |
magimazda:I want to inform the house that I paid for this generator today and awaiting delivery. Thanks to all the amazing people on Nairaland. You guys rock |
LoL Real estate is a cash venture so it's an area of choice for corruption. You people seem surprised |
Government should be handled as business. Let private investors come in and charge what they feel is right. If you fancy the accident prone Nigeria roads, take it. This project is being financed with loans which will be paid off from the business. It's not business as usual |
Lagos is on another level. It should be given a special status to help it reach full potential. Ministry of Lagos State should be created to cater for the needs of this state. I know a lot of people will argue with me because of hate and jealousy but you can't stop who God has chosen to bless. You can get envious but it will change nothing |
There are numerous countries which will accept you with $50,000 e come be $10ml. They need to extend the ban to allies cause only then will it be effective. You can go to Afghanistan with the money and come to Nigeria for medical check up |
