AnaCheks: Sir as you mentioned it, It have also finished. What's going on please? Or is the faouni I'm using different? Bros anything you need and see mentioned on this thread by regular contributors here, better rush and buy. Why, because many Nigerians, most of who are not registered reference this thread to make there purchasing decisions. I noticed this trend right from the Free To Air (FTA) days. Whenever a decoder or LNB was mentioned as being efficient, it sold like wildfire. Examples abound, someone mentioned about LG fridges being power efficient on inverters between the range of 290 litres to 350 litres, within a short period Fouani was out of stock, the same thing happened with the Jinko panels, LG restocked and within a short time certain wattage panels (highly recommended) was exhausted. I just pity people who come to this thread to fool themselves because they feel it is a faceless forum. Lastly like @dollarnaira would say na person wey get sense dey use solar. Some authentic equipment sellers are enjoying free advert on this thread and nairaland. |

brain54: I remember using...
5,10,50 kobo coins. And the one naira coin. Not for long though, I think they were phasing out at the time.
I also remember when the 1 naira coin was changed to paper note.
I buy kulikuli, ojuku finger and hausa sweet that year.
Nigerians don't really like coins... I remember I used to reject them initially when I came to ghana until I later got used to them.
Now I kind of prefer them for the lower denomination currency! 50k and 1 naira were notes before being changed to coins not the other way round. the 1 coin was very heavy, hence people started rejecting it. Imagine a situation you pay with N20 and change of N10 is given to you in coins, unlike present there was enough cash flowing in the economy. It is because of the heavy and bulky nature of the coins people didn't want to hold on to it. |

ibietela2: Good evening, please I want to start buying materials and keeping them instead of waiting to do it all at once.
Which should I buy first? I was thinking of the growatt SPF ES5000, then panels and batteries.
Which type of panels should I get and battery type too.
Any other recommendations are welcome, especially ways or materials that will not cost me a lot but still be able to work
Thanks You are on the right path. Buy inverter first, then Panels and Batteries last. Experts on this thread have a unique way of answering questions, which seems odd to me. |

Ferdiwar: Your analysis is wrong.
Hybrid inverters has nothing to do with Nepa not being constant.
Even if you're using a standalone inverter you'll still need a CC to be able to feed to the grid. He is talking about grid tie inverters, You don't need a CC to feed into the grid, most are even connected to a panel then the house power system. The house loads are powered and excess is feed into the grid which is recorded by the meter. At sundown, the meter reverses feeding back into the house. E.g. if you generate 5kw during the day and use only 1.5kw, 3.5kw is feed to the public utility(electricty company is owning you), at night, you can use the 3.5kw from the utility, and any extra is what you pay for. The meters in Nigeria, if you feed to public line, your meter will still deduct the units. So which ever way the KW flows, you are charged for it |

Mavor: What you are quoting is less than the stupid quotation I am getting. Kai!!! What of the price of a 10kwh lithium iron phosphate battery? I need a very solid OEM for the vendor. My fear of lithium is the fire risk. Boss, there are several types of Lithium; Lithium-ion and Lifepo4, are the two most common types in the market. Lithium-ion is the one with the higher fire risk. Lifepo4 has less likelihood of catching fire. LIFEPO4 = Lithium (Li) Iron (Fe) Phosphate (Po) and Lifepo4 is the ones being majorly coupled and sold on this thread. So, have no fears. |

Why is everyone getting mislead? It is for their supporters to feel good. The problem with Nigerians is most don't read or research. They read headlines and start commenting. For godsake, Nigeria generates a paltry 3500 megawatts ... what can that do for a country of nearly 250m people ? . Paltry 3500 megawatts daily X 365 = 1,277,500 per year Revenue 1,000,000,000,000.00 Revenue / megawatts = 782,778.86 per Megawatt In the US, if you have cheap electricity, say 10 cents per KWH, 1 MWH is $100 If you have expensive electricity, say 20 cents per KWH, 1 MWH is $200 |

He definitely has a case to answer for that which to me makes him a prime suspect too. And if he indeed wants a dna done he must approach the court. Infact if he doesn’t then he should be questioned even further.
Some of us are neither on the side of the father or Wunmi but we can’t just sit and watch people draw foolish conclusions based on sentiments. Stop wasting your time na, had it been the grandpa is a billionaire, and Mohbad is the only child/heir, I bet you the lady would have been the one asking for the DNA to be done to prove that the baby belongs to Mohbad. DaniellaDokubo: Good morning fellow enthusiasts,
I'm curious if anyone has experience with back feeding excess PV harvest into their grid supply. My inverter has this feature, which allows me to do so. I'm wondering if it's possible for my prepaid meter to roll backwards, enabling me to buy back some units from the grid.
I appreciate your prompt response and wish you all a fantastic week ahead.
Best regards, Bro, just block it or disconnect it. The prepaid meters in Nigeria, you will be charged for back feeding to the grid. It means which ever way current flows the meter will be reading and depleting your units. |
