djoe21:Lol, you are not serious. You didnt ask me for a study, did you? https://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=175876 https://www.mic.com/articles/111226/science-explains-why-women-are-faster-to-mature-than-men https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/12/131219131153.htm You mentioned sociology and psychology, thats why i talked about those I dont know if youre being deliberately obtuse or what... of course its a generalisation..! Theyre traipsing all over the thread suggesting that all 30+ women who give birth look like grandmas, i dont see you castigating any of them for making generalisations. A generalisation is not necessarily false, depending on how you apply it If i am making a short comment to answer the rubbish thats happening on the thread, of course i will imply things, it doesnt mean you should apply it to every single 23 year old man on the planet You are just being purposely glib, for no real reason other than simple biology seeming to irk you |
LocalNietzsche:Interesting. You mean like a bell curve? |
Jman06:So why is our age of consent 11 years old? Is it not an national and international disgrace? |
micxwell:lol youre laughing. Hope youre not taming anybody in your place...ontop this bad economic condition |
eni4real: ![]() |
fabiano09:Lol i dont know, but if youre one of them please stop it oh |
djoe21:Just because you dont like it, doesnt make it a fallacy. you havent checked it, so you dont know if its false Women stop being able to give birth after around age 50. Its very sad and nobody likes it, but its true. Does that make it a fallacy? Psychology is a branch of biology that arises from both biological and social effects In terms of sociology, female children are conditioned to be more mature than their male counterparts. You can observe it when girls are told to stay with their moms in the kitchen, have to be more particular about neatness and are scolded for rowdy or even licentious behaviour "because you are a girl"..while boys are allowed to get away with a lot more It creates a hyper-responsibility in girls that still affects them into adulthood |
fabiano09:I know, i meant in terms of mentality, like you are 4 years behind |
fabiano09:Lol if your wife is 15 then *mentally* you are 11...women's brains are fully developed by age 21 while men's is age 25 |
LocalNietzsche:Yes, exactly. It's interesting right And another fact: in times of famine or hardship, birth of males is suppressed to increase likelihood of survival because males are more likely to die without living long enough to procreate than females |
djoe21:It's not a school of thought, it's biology. You can go and check it It's also not a given that women look like grandmas at age 35 or after childbirth,so why do people keep saying it? |
Paulo3ree:No its true, you can go and check it are you talking about secondary school classes? |
Paulo3ree:Not that females have a more developed brain. But female brains develop faster. The brain cells of female children begin to make more meaningful connections at an earlier age. After a while males will catch up So yes, during early life and young adulthood, females have more developed brains |
sammyonal:Its ok as long as he is open to being controlled back... i dont think he would like to be married to a robot, right? Or somebody who has no mind of their own Like on Nollywood movies... the child will be sick...the woman will sit at home crying all day and waiting for the man to come back before they will both go to the hospital....the child later dies... thats the kind of zombified "helpmate" you people want?? why not check if the woman has the kind of manners and orientation you want instead of writing all these diktats |
friendlyadvice:Women use men and men use women the same... but women occupy a lower space in society so when they lose, they lose big. After like 35 years + an unmarried man will also begin to attract insults i am open to changing as per relationship matters but not being "tamed"...that sounds like abuse |
friendlyadvice:I think both exhibit a form of control on one another...in fact all human beings in relationships exert a certain amount of control over each other He said "mould" and "tame"... is it not terrible she is not a child...hope his spec is not reading.. smh... |
Women get old fast, women blah blah...actually men take longer to mature...a 23 year old man and woman are not the same thing...they have different stages of brain development and maturation...so thats the reason to marry an older man, if you so choose. |
lilwetdick:Cant believe what Im reading...Who and what are you taming? Is she a hyena ![]() |
taiwozainab:I used to have that..went for tests..nothing...now its completely gone...didnt even know when it left me sef I think sometimes we just have to leave ourselves alone...maybe your own will be like mine... |
Lol ....revelation ontop swollen appendix that could burst any moment....na real end of Bible story be that Take her to the hospital if you have the money...she might be lying about it, dont see why somebody would play with their life like that I havent read through all the replies but it sounds like she needs an abdominal ultrasound, first of all |
Jaqenhghar:There is a fire department on the other side of town..dont know if anybody called them |
Gosh! but that place was always too crowded... i guess it was only a matter of time |
MrsNwaAmaikpe:Nawao...hope you and your new husband go soon born?? |
How is your diet...the cream is not going to work if you dont eat well. do you take a lot of oil, and fried food? what about fruit... Is this thing only on your face or on other areas like your back, crook of your arms... If you think its eczema, do you have any other allergies..or asthma..do you get easily sick/irritated by dust/cobwebs/flour... Have you tried an emollient wash/cream? like cetraben, e45 If it comes back around the same time every year, do you mean during the cold months? When it goes away again and your face is clear, do you notice any other improvement anywhere else in your body...? What is the source/quality of the water that you use to bathe... if the water is not too great, do you disinfect with ***a very small amount*** of dettol before bathing.. How often do you change your bedding and what detergent do you use to wash it...do you dry your bedding in a nice environment...? It actually just looks dry and scaly...rather than pimply/inflamed...do you drink enough water...of good quality...? It seems that you dont grow a beard but if you do, what do you rub on your face to shave it... It started in your teenage years...your hormones are a part of it..plus some other factor...does anybody else in your family like your dad or elder brother have this...? Have you always lived in the same area? When you move to a different town/place with different weather...does it still show up...? After thinking about it it seems to be something to do with the weather + an added sensitivity from your own body. Or else something that you do every year that brings it out again...maybe a particular seasonal food you cant tolerate Have you actually visited a doctor for this problem before...? somebody needs to examine your face up-close wtih a full history, and an explanation of your health and lifestyle before they can come up with the answer... |
Hmm.. do we have doctors that do "black market" operations? in other countries they will take the gunshot/stab victim to the house of one dubious doctor to treat so that they will not have to file a police report |

abdullahi45:Nobody should be castigated for not decorating their face but at the same time people shouldnt pretend that our ancestors were living in some kind of pre-colonial bubble where nobody cared about their appearance or chose to adorn or decorate themselves...it didnt just start now.. people shouldnt be made to feel bad for whats a normal part of humanity. Its just that you shouldnt rely on it or overdo it and fall victim to your own vanity On the other hand the materialism of todays society has made it so that people feel a lot of pressure to pretend to be something they are not in order to keep up.. the "extreme make-up" is just a symptom of it In my opinion the bride could/should at least have put on some light powder and lipgloss for the sake of her wedding occasion... not to do with make-up but to do with looking tidy and decent as a human being celebrating a special day and presenting herself as a bride to the world In that vein you may as well say she shouldnt have bothered wearing wedding gown and should just wear her normal clothes to wed |
mikkyjagga1:Our grandmothers definitely used make-up, it was just the native kind |
abdullahi45:I agree with you to an extent but there has always, always been make-up. What we're seeing now is just a development of beauty enhancements from the past. Even our ancestors would not be plain on their wedding day, its in the nature of humans to decorate themselves |
fidelmarshal199:At least it will help people who cant afford to wed |
Those robbers are on serious drugs/alcohol/charms i doubt they even get what theyre doing |
