Souzin:Look towards Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Belgium, France. These countries charge affordable fees. Generally, the countries that once belonged to eastern Europe bloc charge less tuition than the core western Europe. Ukraine would have been one of the options, if not for Putin's crazy war. |
ProphetUtuocha:Hello Prophet; we are still waiting for further clues from you, the Oando master |
sky2891:Even if Wale and his management still want to delist OANDO at all cost, the SEC should stamp their feet and enforce the rules on the exit price. But I pray the delisting fails; because that would offer great opportunity to those who have been holding their portfolio intact for many years to recoup losses and make some profits. |
ositadima1:Thanks. Yes, that is regularly mentioned as a factor to consider and part of the conversation on Oando. I even mentioned it in one of my recent posts. |
ositadima1:Remember this is an online platform where hundreds of people join everyday. What is old ''news'' to you may be entirely new information to someone else! |
phadriz:You may be right, but only to some extent. What banks/businesses invest in is the FUTURE, not necessarily the past. A company may have a terrible past, but banks would give loans and invest in it if they are convinced of the future prospects. Most companies doing well today have had difficult pasts! Oando has good prospects as an upstream company (sales and receivables in dollars), plus additional resources from the acquisition of ENI. Their shares would clock the N100s the moment they are able to stabilize paying their loans and dividends to shareholders |
yMcy56:If the release of their results and corporate info are managed well, Oando could break the N20 mark within 2 weeks. As highlighted in the FY2021 audited accounts, I think Oando's FY2022 results might not be too great, and that may cause another decline in price when it is eventually released. Please watch out, take advantage to buy more if possible. But FY2023 should be much better, and that should impact the prices positively. The FY2021 audited accounts mentioned the fact that company expects to start making profits from FY2023. |
Tpharell:. That is a momentary fatigue. The news has already been out that Oando is acquiring ENI. It is good if Oando kicks into reverse gear. It is an opportunity for the informed investor to load more. Don't be surprised to see heavy bids a few days before the court date, and then during the Xmas/New Year lull cycle when prices usually drop. People are hunting for funds to buy more but waiting for their desired price range |
Ikaeniyan0:This could work in Oando's favour. ENI would more likely cooperate and play along for the final acquisition by Oando |
Odewaleadesoye:Were these people not investing at all when they were doing well? Did he not build a house to rent or buy shares or something that he could fall back on in future? All they believed that things would be all rosy forever? All these high profile life styles are not sustainable. It is better to live a modest life when you are making it and invest for the future! |
God1000:Until they kill you or one of your loved ones one day in a terror attack.! That is when you would realize the gravity of the activities of terrorists |
sonofElElyon:I did not consider the effect of inflation in in my opinion about Oando. I know inflation as a systemic factor would affect every investment. |
megawealth01:I bought much of Oando when it was N4 - N5. With my latest purchase, the weighted average cost price is still around N6, which is still less than N7 The worst case scenario is to get the N7.07 buyout offer price which will still give me profit. But from the look of things (my own assessment), the buyout will not succeed unless the offer price is increased, which would still give me additional profit. Oando is a big gamble for those who are just buying when the price started rising above N7, but not those who bought at N3-N5 and are still keeping it or increasing their holdings with the average cost less than N7 |
megawealth01: ![]() I don't want to ''kpai'' alone! Like someone used to say ''we die there''! |
yMcy56:Thanks |
yMcy56:Please which websites provide those details on real-time offers/bids? I want to monitor Oando |
ProphetUtuocha:Partly because of you and your consistency on Oando, and how I have been informed that you know a lot about Oando since the Conocco Phillips days, I have mandated my stock broker to buy more units of Oando for me. If everything goes well, you will be my HERO and my PROPHET! And I will buy you suya! But if kasala burst and I get roasted in my ''prophet-induced'' greed and want for more profit, I will follow you everywhere like say IDF dey follow Hamas (lol)! |
marhoinspire:Some rogues enter your country to slaughter 1,200 citizens, and you say their country is taking this too far? Will you be willing to allow someone kill you or your kids and siblings for free? Abeg shift! |
Svoboda:Where have you been? The IDF had been destroying and blowing off the tunnels since! What are you doing inside tunnels if you call yourselves strong and brave? You cowards! |
thebargainhunte:I started buying when Oando was N3-N5m. When I made momentary gains, I sold off, trade a little, and then bought more units again. I have refused to sell off permanently because I knew the intrinsic value should be much higher than N5. I also knew there could be a day like this when the price would shoot up because I remember when one cement company (Dangote Cement /Benue Cement) or WAPCO was selling at N4 per share because of some board room or business restructuring challenges and later rose to N70! Experienced investors would tell you that they look for underpriced stocks and hold for the long term....that is where they make huge profits. Another potential example is International Breweries which is selling for about N4.50....it could go back to the N40-N50 range in the next few months. |
chinonsobest:Thank you for the heads up. Now, I will be monitoring him like a spirit on whatever he says about Oando! I will go reload as much of Oando as I can now. I must ''fly and follow'' the ''prophet'' to make ''heaven'' with Oando |

You forget that Oando was selling for N3 - N4 not too long ago and people have been accumulating in millions of units. For example, imagine someone has about 5million -10million units and the price rises to between N50 - N100 per share or more! What if the price even gets to N150-N200 per share? Sometimes, people make billions on the NGX from modest investments. I know when International Breweries was selling for 60kobo per share and the price later rose to N45 within few years! |
ProphetUtuocha:Hi everyone, Which website(s) provides minute-by-minute online status updates on market trading information on each stocks e.g. the number of bids or offer per stocks, price etc.? I want to be monitoring my Oando and other stocks before I buy or sell |
megawealth01:You might be mistaken. Oando is gradually taking strategic steps to overcome its present challenges. A successful loan deal plus operations from the ENI fields will definitely booster their results and see the price above N50, especially if they produce a fair performance for FY2023. Oando should not delist, but rather make me a billionaire, biko! |
ProphetUtuocha:We are here to educate ourselves. I am not saying you should reveal confidential corporate info, but we need some more clarity on what forms the basis of your predictions so we could take informed decisions. Like others, I bought some millions of units of Oando long before now, so we all need to take some informed investment decisions on our portfolio holdings. |
Princkez:That Prophet must know something about Oando that he is not divulging! Thank God I did not sell all my OANDO! And let's hope they would not delist |
megawealth01:It may be. The Africa EXIM bank is much better option than going for commercial loans from Nigerian banks. The interest rate and general terms would be much better, so it gives further hope on the prospects of Oando in the long term. I just pray the price gets to something like N50! I go smile reach China! |
sky2891:Really? Thank you for enlightening me on this as regards Oando. |
Mrfeel:There is nothing similar between the Igbos and the Jews of Israel. Nobody hates you. have you seen Isareli jews living, doing business and becoming successful in Arab lands, the same way Igbos have been doing in Lagos and Western Nigeria? The real enemies of the Igbos are their own manners, attitude, behaviour etc! |
Mrfeel:Who fired the first shot in the 1967-70 war? It was Biafra Who waged the war against the Western region by attacking Benin and Ore? It was Biafra. Who used B29 aircraft to bomb Yaba in Lagos? It was Biafra. (Yaba was the most densely populated in Lagos) Colonel Banjo was a Yoruba man and he decided to risk his life to support Biafra and he joined the Biafra army to fight for them during the war. Do you know his reward? He was ordered and shot dead by Ojukwu at a firing squad! Do not start a war you cannot finish because anything can happen in a war. |
Mrfeel:So who are the so called ''enemies'' killing the igbos in the Eastern Nigerian right now? Please think well before you start calling yourselves ''jews'' who are not recognized by Israeli jews |
Iwedunloye:You are the super mumu yourself! Have you ever heard the USA or England claimed that Israel should not exist on the surface of the earth and that they (USA and England) are the owners of the land on which Israelis are living? Why are the opponents and enemies of Israel so daft stupid? |
