Often time I have realised that flashing that green Nigerian passport or telling someone you are from Nigeria results into being shown a red card. As for me, I missed being with a gorgeous damsel partly because of the sentence " I am from Nigeria". Since then no response till date after long juicy conversation. I applied on 27th last month but the account was not funded. Till 3rd of Aug. I have savings account and the branch does not matter is it done by their main office in lagos under ebuissiness section but some don't know about it. Mine was in Nsukka town branch.

I initiated mine by Monday and got my account number, deposited and transferred by Tuesday at GTB, Marina despite providing the 2 referees from Different Banks (Maybe because I already have an account with them). Hence, that's why I recommend using a bank you already have a savings account with. I only provided the Additional Account Opening form, ID card and 2 referees.

If he doesn't have much time, he should find someone to help him with it. My advice was based on what I think. In this time of falling Naira where everyone now needs more Naira than ever, falling prey to scam at this time can/may be detrimental to your plans. That's why I think everyone is now better off doing it themselves.

sending money to uni-assist sometimes from naija black account that be very detrimental. When I initiated my transfer from here, my bank and a bank in germany charged me for processing fee making the total amont of money that got to uni-assist deficit of 10 euro. I had to contact a friend over there to help me send the 10 euro to them because I can't bear another excess charges. Note; I used dorm account. It's better if u can get someone there to help u send it and then he sends you the receipt immediately after payment before you make a transfer of naira to his/her account.

@santaclause, ur information is incoorect, Australia doesn't have embassy in Nigeria. You have to choose south Africa (pretoria). Hope it's not too late

I have come to realise that when people hear Germany has free tuition schools, all they want to do is leave all the are presently doing in naija and then run to harvest free opportunity. It's better u leave home with enough back up. It's another man's land with no guarantee. Prepare for both the good and the worse. It's free to all over the world and not just nigeria. Making the competition tougher. Travelling to Ghana alone requires fund, no to talk of planning to leave Africa. Work and Pray harder. May God help us all.
Note: I dey naija chilling on my 3 and half inches bed. #my thought though.
