Truthisunique3: you keep bringing this stale line
Tinubu was lossing serially at national politics till he went to beg buhari who brought more numbers than him to politics
Is it not the same Lawan Ahmed that was at the APC meeting which nodded to buhari consesus choice.
I don't see big deal about the much talked about clause, if an Amaechi at worst doesn't go around convention it doesn't change the fact he has gotten his candidate as chairman
Convention isn't for presidential declaration which by the way they would still participate less than 2days away The fact is that, buhari may not be able to decides who wins the general election, but he will influence who carries apc flag, unfortunately that's how it is in naija in fact he will decide who wins in apc. |

My analysis is political i don't remember how it insulted your tribe or perphas it's sad truth is a dagger that hurts you
The reality going into the convention is that Amaechi would be part of it which you people said he wouldn't (a big win)
Adamu whom amaechi recommended to buhari would be the next chairman (a big win)
Make we dey take am small small as the dust settles Better that way and for you. Why I said from Saturday till next we will know the real contenders is that, Ramadan starts by on the 2nd of April, and most political stakeholders are Muslims, so there wouldn't be much activities till after 3rd of May, which is the only month left for parties to organise their primaries, someone like osinbajo has no choice than to make his intention known from Saturday till next week, the game has just started. Politics › Re: Borno One Of Luckiest States In Nigeria, Says Osinbajo by MikoB: 3:09pm On Mar 23, 2022 |
okefranci: Vice President Yemi Osinsbajo has said the northeastern state of Borno remains one of the luckiest states in the country due to the leadership it has had in the past 11 years plus.
He also noted leadership is not just about holding exalted positions, but dedication and service to the people.
Osinbajo said this on Monday night in Abuja, at the fifth anniversary celebration of the North East Children’s Trust Learning Centre; a charity educational centre he envisioned in 2016 and which took off a year later in Maiduguri, for children orphaned by the insurgency in the North-East.
Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, disclosed this in a statement he signed on Tuesday titled ‘True leadership is about service to people, Osinbajo says as north-east children’s trust marks fifth anniversary.’
According to him, “I believe Borno State is possibly one of the luckiest states in this country, just going by the leadership that the State has had. Immediately after Governor Shettima, comes Governor Zulum.
“No state can ask for better than Governor Zulum, who had taken over from his dynamic predecessor, Gov Shettima.”
He commended the immediate past and current Borno State Governors: Kashim Shettima and Babagana Zulum for their roles in the development of the Center noting that “if you are not able to serve the people with everything that you have and with all your heart, then it would be irrelevant and perhaps even unjustified.
“So, I want to really commend Governor Zulum and his predecessor Governor Shettima for the great work they have done.”
On the impact of teachers on the children’s education and well-being at the learning centre, he said, “These teachers are a special bunch of people, very special, and I explained to them what we are trying to achieve. This is not any ordinary school. We are trying to achieve and develop a school that would be a world-class learning center. “I said to them, that what we want from you (teachers) is a generous spirit; we want you to love and care for these children. And the teachers have been incredible; they have done such a great job with everything you see today.
“These ladies and gentlemen are the real heroes of the story of the learning centre. And in the past five years, they have contributed in every way by just being there night and day, ensuring that they love and care for the children.”
Also speaking at the ceremony, the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum and the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar praised the Vice President for spearheading the initiative, as well as his dedication and commitment to the education and welfare of the children in the school since it was established.
The NECT learning centre, which boasts of some of the best facilities in terms of education, vocational education and digital literacy, now has 173 of its children in secondary school.
In attendance were former Borno State Governor Shettima; Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Prof. Sonni Tyoden; Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Pauline Tallen; Senator Ali Ndume; Chairman of Zenith Bank, as well as Chairman, NECT board, Jim Ovia; the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, other royal fathers and ambassadors, among other senior government officials.

I also said, Tinubu deserves the presidency because he has earned it (that does not mean I am a fan of his) but I will vote for Tinubu if it becomes a SW issue. If you read my post history i have criticised Tinubu many times but I have always acknowledged that in politics he has no equal!!!
Vps are given right of 1st refusal when they earned their position as VP. Osinbajo was nominated to be VP from nowhere, nobody knew him as a place holder knowing full well that Tinubu was coming to collect the ticket in 10 yearsnow he wants to backstab his principal.
My stance on Osinbajo is not about whether I am for Tinubu or not, it is a question of honour. He is an ingrate, he is a snake, he has no integrity, he is disloyal, he is greedy, he is a disgrace to what the church should represent and I will never vote for him!!! the bottom line is he will never even get the ticket anyway because he doesnt have support in the party to get the ticket!!!
I will never support treachery and betrayal. I don't have time to read the rubbish you typed here, I only quoted to burst you, what a liar. I will not bother myself to reply you after this, I respect people with principles not liars. Good bye |

I won’t get up and vote for him let’s put it that way. I would vote for Tinubu simply because of the role he played in APC or if it becomes an attack against the SW and he is the one on the ticket and I would vote for Amaechi. I will not enter inside the sun and waste my Saturday to vote for Osinbajo come rain come sunshine in the same way I sat at home both times rather than vote for Buhari. people love osinbajo, but he has till next week to make people know his stand either if he is running or not, there is no more excuse after the convention this weekend, also the ramadan starts by the 2nd of April and ends in May, so most likely apc will have to do their primaries in May because the last day for submission of names is 3rd of June, so no more hiding game again. PeaceJoyLove: Many of you just post. Tinubu isnt the one who stopped Ambode. The people of Lagos APC did. They even pressed hard on Tibubu. Ambode didn't block any of whatever gain Tinubu has, but powerful people in Lagos were and still are angry with him. Ambode's career in Lagos is damaged. Tinubu only endorsed their wishes and moved to Abuja to tell them that he would not support Ambode. He returned and removed his hands so the people of Lagos can deal with him. Yes, he could have helped him, but he knew he would be stepping on toes too. And since he wanted to be the president from that time (his so called long time ambiton) he also, removed his hands selfishly or unselfishly. Really, I do not like Tinubu like that, but Ambode is one of the most foo.lish Nigerian politician who ever lived. He is also a coward. Forget him. If you want to stop Tinubu, fight him in the APC thing, and not online. The only people who can give him a hard battle are his very close people. If they can push Osinbajo or Fashola out, Tinubu will find it hard. Outside of this, forget it, Tinubu is the next president of Nigeria. That man is a real politician. I dont see Buhari and any cabal members stopping him. Buhari who cannot even become president on his own. That one na politician? And Tinubu's patience is just so unbelievable. Look at the number of people he has supported and helped while nursing his ambition silently. He waited for the right time which seemed too long to many. See eh..forget all this hatred, the man has built a strong political base which cannot crash easily. Your analysis is on point, I have said it several times that osinbajo will be the one to give asiwaju runs for his money, except that it will be difficult for any politician in the South to displace him. |

Agbegbaorogboye: Lol.
So Buhari was dribbled by Saraki and Tinubu rescued Buhari from Saraki's hands. See very jaundiced and flawed analysis. Wait. I guess Obaseki also dribbled Buhari by removing Oshiomole and campaigning with "Edo no be Lagos" while it was Tinubu that rescued Buhari from Obaseki by ensuring Mala Buni became APC chairman. This is some funny shit.
I guess Oyegun was also working against Buhari and was eased out by Tinubu to save Buhari's reelection bid. You ACN dudes are beginning to magnify Tinubu beyond what even he himself will accept as his capabilities. May I ask why Tinubu did not save Muhammad Lawal in 2003 and indeed Kwara from Saraki's dribble until 2019. Have their paths never crossed? You know nothing obviously.
Just to educate you, Buhari was never interested in who became SP or Speaker. It was Tinubu that had a candidate, George Akume whose unpopularity led to Tinubu dumping him and supporting Lawan instead. And for your information, go and check. Buhari congratulated Saraki same day he emerged party chair and even Oyegun said everyone needs to accept it. It was Tinubu who was angry at the obvious turn of events.
Also note, it was Buhari who refused to give Saraki automatic ticket to return to Senate and retain the presidency that led to Saraki's eventual defection from APC. That is the truth. Tinubu only mobilized thugs and money towards Saraki's eventual defeat at the polls. If Saraki had remained in APC, no way Tinubu would have been able to do that. A good example is Amosun who openly defied Tinubu and got people to stone him in 2019 in Ogun. He is still a senator today. Why didn't Tinubu stop him from becoming senator in his own SW stronghold?
The truth is you ACN bloc are actually the loudest noisemakers in APC and are actually beginning to think your noise actually amounts to something like popularity when the reverse is the case. Look at the recent chairmanship tussle. I hope you realize it was more a fight for northern supremacy between El-Rufai and Buni. You ACN guys had no stake or move in it. But you were the blokes making the highest noise on media, one would be forgiven for thinking El-Rufai and Tinubu were on the same side. The truth is even if the ouster of Buni materialized, it still changed nothing for Tinubu's hopes but y'all were shouting hoorah as if Bello was going to hand over the presidential ticket to Tinubu until El-Rufai came out and made it clear they had their own choice.
You guys don't even realize what is going on in APC. Who ordered the membership revalidation and what was its aim? I hope you're aware Buhari has always felt a tinge of disappointment at the figures APC usually produce from the SW during Presidentials. APC has never gotten a 60% vote as strong as it claims to be in the region. While in 2015, it had its highest return, it was a paltry 3m votes whereas the APC register then had over 6m party members in the SW, almost matching that of the NW. Buhari believes that to be a fraud which is why he prodded Buni to carry out that exercise.
To further show you how powerless you guys are in APC, Buhari appointed Buni from the NE Caretaker Chair in a meeting where Osinbajo and Gbaja were present, and unilaterally kept extending his tenure. What have you guys been able to do about it? Do you realize having the President and the party chair come from the same zone is actually against the APC constitution? How is Buhari and his CPC/ANPP cabal able to ride you guys doggy for so long and you guys can't even whimper not to mention cry out only to sing hallelujah when El-Rufai went and did his own thing jeje? That shows how irrelevant you guys are in APC.
For your information also, the north actually view the SW and SE through the same prism of noisemakers. The real elephant in the South they have regard for is the SS due to the oil money they bring to the table. And that is why they are scheming to install a SS president. Let me tell you. If Tinubu were from the SS, he would already be so sure of the party ticket that even Buhari would have come forward to anoint him. Think about it. Even if Buhari does not want Tinubu for whatever reasons. what of Osinbajo. Why does he not want Osinbajo too. The north are actually scheming to have a political alliance with the SS so that both can run Nigeria. They have never needed the three region to rule. They need only one. SE served that purpose before from 1999-2015. SW is now carrying the Northern bag presently since 2015.
And I see you guys keep talking about APC imploding as it it affects Buhari. Is he going to be on the ballot? Is his wife or son going to be running? You guys need to be realistic. Buhari along with the northern govs will determine who the party chair and the presidential candidate will be. You lots will make noise and cry your hearts out. Then you will be alright las las and life will go on. Your writeup doesn't make any sense! |

"Ammunition outside the country" same way Ukraine depended on arm gifts, before the gifts came... we all know the state of that country now, the president can't even see the sun nor breathe fresh air. The truth is France is one of those countries that consider themselves as peaceful, not troublesome, not intimidating, so they don't see a reason to spend on military might and yes a country can survive this way and France does that well. Macron has being a middle man in the Ukraine war, trying to foster peace between the two nation's. It's being unbiased and feeling depressed itself about the war in Ukraine. France has being off and on Nato... It's not a believer of war. It's not a war monger Lolz, i don't think you know who you are telling stories about france, anyway france is one of the biggest spenders in defense, you can check it out yourself, france is a nuclear country, even though she doesn't want war does not mean they don't have what it takes, anyway I am French myself |
